When this baby elephant was separated from his herd, he needed some good rescuers to come to his aid, and fortunately, some good guys were just around the corner.

The terrified baby was seen roaming the grasslands of Africa with his fellow big-eared companions when something terrible happened. The smallest member of the herd fell into a deep hole and couldn’t manage to pull his tiny body out.

Not only did he fall in, he also bumped his head. Unable to do anything to help, the rest of his herd continued grazing in the grass and slowly made their way back into the forest (way to be a team player, guys).

Fortunately, a nearby group of people saw what had happened and began recording the whole thing.

Not only did they help the little guy find his way out of the deep hole, they also gave him a checkup and stuck around to see if he was reunited with Mama and the gang.

Fortunately, his herd hadn’t wandered far and before long, the little dude heard some important sounds of his own. You can watch the adorable reunion in the video below, and make sure you pay special attention to this little bub’s ears. It’s hilarious!

No parent wants to raise a spoiled brat who expects everything to be handed to them on a silver platter, which is why so many friends and even strangers approached this mom and accused her of spoiling her child after they saw her doting on her baby at all times.

Like any mother, Kelly Dirkes just wants to make sure that her children know how loved they are, but everyone thought her constant spoiling would keep them from ever becoming independent. Usually, Dirkes ignored those comments, however, when a complete stranger criticized her for spoiling her baby while she was shopping in Target, she decided to let the world know why she worked so hard to ‘spoil’ her kids.

“Dear Woman in Target- I’ve heard it before, you know. That I ‘spoil that baby’. You were convinced that she’d never learn to be ‘independent’. I smiled at you, kissed her head, and continued my shopping. If you only knew what I know. If you only knew how she spent the first ten months of her life utterly alone inside a sterile metal crib, with nothing to comfort her other than sucking her fingers,” Dirkes wrote in a post to Facebook that has now gone viral.

No one had ever held her that way before, and she had no idea what she was supposed to do. If you only knew that she would lay in her crib after waking and never cry–because up until now, no one would respond.

For many expecting moms, the signs of pregnancy, like missed periods and morning sickness to weight gain and a growing belly, are pretty obvious, which is why it’s so hard to believe that someone could be more than half-way through their pregnancy and have no idea that they’re pregnant at all.

As impossible as it seems, one UK mom showed no signs of pregnancy despite trying to conceive for nearly a year. 37-year-old Sarah Senior had dreamed of having another baby with her 39-year-old partner Jason Cooper, but she was crushed every time she got her period and each pregnancy test came back negative.

The two had just about given up their hope of being parents again, and accepted the fact that it wasn’t going to happen. One day, however, Sarah landed in the hospital after complaining of irritable bowel syndrome, but after getting a scan, the doctors found out she was actually 5 months pregnant. “I said I couldn’t be. I’d done two pregnancy tests and both were negative,” Sarah said.

At 5 months along, Sarah was still her typical size 10, and didn’t have the normal baby bump like she had with her previous two pregnancies, yet when she went in a week later for some scans, they found three heartbeats. “The consultant said I was definitely pregnant and it looked like twins. My jaw hit the floor.”

On December 15, Sarah gave birth to her three healthy yet small triplets through a C-section, and a year later, the family has their hands full.“They’re all walking and talking now. It’s a madhouse. Life consists of feed, change nappies, feed, repeat.” But the family is loving every minute of it. “I am so grateful that my tummy ache wasn’t IBS. It was my three beautiful daughters,” Sarah said.

Mom Goes To The Doctor For An Upset Stomach, Finds Out She’s 5 Months Pregnant! is an article from: LifeDaily

As a man who wears a suit to work, one Florida man was used to getting stopped by homeless people begging for money or food, which is why he was taken so off guard when he passed a homeless woman on the street as he walked through downtown Orlando.

Rather than ask for food or money, the homeless woman simply smiled at Greg Smith, the founder of Hybrid Athletes, a professional fitness training organization,  and said, “Good morning, sir. Have a great day. God Bless.” Smith was so stunned, that he stopped and said hello. Despite having nothing, Amy Joe still never asked Smith for anything whenever they saw each other on the street, so finally, Smith convinced her to let him take her out to lunch.

“Every Tuesday Amy Joe and I now have Lunch together. For 30 min to an hour I get to hear how positive she is even though she really has nothing. Last week Amy Joe kind of dropped a bomb on me…she cannot read. Amy Joe does not smoke, drink, have a drug addiction, or anything to that nature. She simply just has never had anyone teach her how to read,” Smith wrote in a post to Facebook, which has gone viral.

“She told me how hard it was for her to find work not being able to read. She began to tell me any money that she can collect she uses to check out library books that help with learning to read instead of buying FOOD. This crushed me!!! She would rather learn to read to maybe find a job than eat!!!”

“I have been blessed with two amazing parents and a family that has always had resources to provide me with anything I wanted to do. Amy Joe has not. So now not only do Amy Joe and I sit and have lunch, I’m teaching her to read. I rent one library book a week and we read it together Tuesday and she practices on her own throughout the rest of the week.”

“This post is in no way to make anyone feel sorry for Amy Joe or brag about me doing something for someone less fortunate,” Smith explained. “I wanted to share this because maybe this can lead to someone helping another person. There are a lot of people out there like Amy Joe, not all are hungry, homeless, or hurt. Some could be your family or friends. Helping someone could be as easy as saying hello and smiling. I have been fortunate enough in my finances that I can take care of Amy Joe, so that’s what I’m going to do.”

Man Gets Lunch With Homeless Woman Once A Week To Teach Her How To Read is an article from: LifeDaily

After finding out she was pregnant with her first child, this wife knew she wanted to surprise her husband with the exciting news, and after thinking through a few different plans, she finally settled on surprising her husband on his 35th birthday after a romantic dinner together.

Kelly’s wife had the staff write out ‘Thanks for knockin’ me up’ on the plate of his birthday chocolate cake, but when the waitress set the plate down on the table he was so stunned he had to read it a few times for the news to sink in that he was going to be a dad.

Wife Reveals She’s Pregnant During Her Husband’s Birthday Dinner is an article from: LifeDaily

Texas middle school student, Danesiah Neal was just trying to buy lunch at Fort Bend Independent School, when she almost got arrested for counterfeit. 

Danesiah had taken the $2 bill her grandmother gave her to school so she could buy chicken nuggets. 

When she went to pay, school officials assumed the bill was fake, due to the $2 bill being a rare currency, and Danesiah was immediately taken for questioning. 

The 13-year-old told Ted Oberg Investigates,

“I went to the lunch line and they said my $2 bill was fake. They gave it to the police. Then they sent me to the police office. A police officer said I could be in big trouble.”

And not just big trouble, but third-degree felony trouble.

The school called Danish’s grandmother, Sharon Kay Joseph, who told abc13, “She’s never in trouble, so I was nervous going in there.”

First, the Fort Bend ISD police investigated the $2 bill. Then a campus officer went to the convenience store that gave the grandma the $2 bill. Finally, the cop went to a bank to examine the bill, and the $2 was finally deemed real. 

The bill was so old, dating back to 1953, that the school’s counterfeit pen didn’t work on it. 

“He brought me my two dollar bill back,” grandma said. He didn’t apologize. He should have and the school should have because they pulled Danesiah out of lunch and she didn’t eat lunch that day because they took her money.”

“It was very outrageous for them to do it,” she said. “There was no need for police involvement. They’re charging kids like they’re adults now,” Joseph continued. 

Ultimately, no charges were filed.

Twelve Kansas City police officers suffered a tragedy on April 27 when they got stuck in an elevator. There were no injuries, but egos were seriously bruised.

Here’s the dirt of the story:

The Kansas City Missouri Police Department has a friendly rivalry going with their fellow firefighters, because well…why not? Both are rescuers and public servants who help save the day. So, when 12 heroes needed to be rescued themselves, the fire department was more than eager to help.

According to CNN, the officers became trapped in an elevator at the police academy when they exceeded the weight limit. Then, they needed to humbly call the fire department for a routine rescue.

The only serious injuries documented were the ones the boys in blue took to their pride. In a statement released by the Kansas City Missouri Police Department, they said the following on Facebook:

It’s okay boys, even the heroes among us become damsels in distress every now and then.

Kansas City Firefighters Rescue Police Officers Who Got Stuck In Elevator is an article from: LifeDaily

It’s every mom’s nightmare that a pervert or sick person will try to take advantage or harm their child, which is why it’s no surprise that a bus packed full of moms and young women lost it when a creep exposed himself in front of an innocent girl.

The 34-year-old man, who was only identified by his initials AEA, was caught on the security camera of a cramped bus in Turkey exposing his genitals to a girl that stood just inches away from him. The pervert most likely assumed the girl would be too shocked to do anything before he could escape off the bus, but instead she let out a scream the entire bus heard and started beating him.

Once the women on the bus understood what just happened, they all joined in by throwing punches and kicking him. The creep tried to jump off the bus when the bus pulled over at a stop and the doors swung open, but the women grabbed him back in so he couldn’t escape.

Soon enough, the police caught up to the bus, and the women finally released him to their custody so he would have to pay for his crime.

Pervert Gets Beaten Up By Women After Exposing Himself To A Young Girl is an article from: LifeDaily

For the first three years of her son’s life, one Australian mom knew her son didn’t quite understand what all the holiday and birthday celebrations meant, which is why she was thrilled to throw him his fourth birthday party since it was the first year he actually understood what a birthday party was.

Rachelle Briannan planned a small but fun-filled birthday party for her son Taenon’s  fourth birthday, and invited 12 kids to come celebrate with him, sing him ‘happy birthday’, and eat the huge superhero cake that she made for the special day. Yet just an hour before the party was supposed to start, every single parent either canceled or wouldn’t respond when Rachelle tried to confirm if they were still coming.

“My son just turned 4 and this is the first time he’s really understood the whole party with friends thing. My heart is literally broken for him!! I’m so hurt and angry,” Rachelle wrote in a post on the Facebook mother’s group Midnight Mums.

Soon after reading Rachelle’s crushing message, moms and members of the Facebook group came together to plan another party for Taenon. A total of 30 kids were able to make it to the new party at a McDonald’s, and even more dropped by with presents or sent online messages wishing Teanon a happy birthday.

“Rachelle was and still is speechless,” Constance Hall said.

Strangers Celebrate Boy’s 4th Birthday After Mom Posts Devastating Message Online is an article from: LifeDaily

In the Unites States, dogs are not just considered pets, but are loyal members of the family. In other parts of the world, however, dogs are considered pests and are treated with little to no compassion.

Paris has spent his entire life wandering the streets of Karditsa, Greece as a stray dog, but as a puppy, he was also the victim of a cruel abuse that would only get worse as he got older. When Paris was just a tiny puppy, someone had wrapped wire snugly around his neck, and as he got older and grew, the wire became more and more restrictive.

Eventually, the wire dug into his skin so much, that there was a solid ring of an open wound around Paris’ neck, and by the time rescuers from the Greek Animal Rescue (GAR) organization found him, the wire had dug a hole in his trachea, which made it impossible for him to eat.

Paris was understandably terrified of humans, but they managed to capture him and rush him to the vet. The wire was immediately taken off, but they had to heal the infection before finally being able to operate and closing the hole in his neck.

“When he finally received his surgery, he felt less pain and started to eat…and eat. The dog that was little more than “skin and bones” gained 20 kilos in a matter of months,” the rescue team wrote.

Rescuers Save Abused Dog With Metal Wire Wrapped Around His Neck is an article from: LifeDaily

Kate Smith thought she was feeling nauseous due to a few too many Disneyland rides, but it actually turned out to be something more serious.

34-year-old Kate had just given birth to twins last year, but she had no idea that her nausea, this time, could mean she was pregnant again.

As her morning sickness persisted, Kate finally took a pregnancy test to reveal, that she was indeed pregnant. She felt different, however, compared to her previous pregnancies, and she was suffering excruciating headaches. 

Kate soon discovered that she was not pregnant with one child, instead with four! 

“Both myself and Gerard started laughing at first but then the reality set in and I started crying,” Kate told mirror.co.uk. 

She continued, We were both self-employed and we had no idea how we would cope, then at our 12-week scan we were told one baby had died, something nurses explained was fairly common.”

From the moment, the Smith’s realized how lucky they were to still be pregnant with three babies, and they wanted nothing more than to give birth to healthy triplets.  “My stomach grew three times as fast and I looked eight months pregnant when I was only five months gone,” the mom described. 

But on February 12, after an elected c-section, Kate gave birth to three healthy babies- Annie, Dolly and Gerard

“I couldn’t believe it when they were actually born, they were in hospital for three weeks before we could take them home,” Kate told the mirror. 

While one of the babies, Dolly, needed a small operation on her abdomen due to a cyst, she was soon ok, and everything went so well, according to Kate.

“Me and Gerard have coped and I hope other couples who find themselves having more than one baby at once read our story and realize they’ll be fine.”

Brittney Nichols knew it might be challenging to find the right daycare for her 2-year-old daughter, who suffers from some complications after being born prematurely, but could tell her little girl was in good hands after seeing how excited daycare teacher Christy Owens was when she started the day and greeted all the children in the mornings.

“Every single morning when I drop my daughter off Christy is full of joy,” Nichols explained. “Christy is always so amazingly happy and kind. She treats the children as if they are her own. They all love her as do we the parents.

One Sunday morning, however, Nichols spotted a woman walking on the side of the road carrying a bible on the way to church, and as she passed by she realized it was her daughter’s daycare teacher.

Nichols pulled over to ask why Christy was walking such a long way instead of driving, and learned that not only did Christy not have a car, but she was never able to get her license, which meant she had to walk every single day to the daycare no matter what the weather was like.”I felt like God spoke within me to inquire about her transportation. Long story short Christy did not own a vehicle and had never had the opportunity to own one or get a driver’s license….until today.”

Nichols didn’t have the money to buy Christy a car on her own, but knew she had to help. After approaching other parents and coworkers, they were able to raise enough money to buy Christy a car and lessons at a driving school.

Mom Surprises Daughter’s Favorite Daycare Worker With A Car is an article from: LifeDaily

Daisy is an obese rescue dog, who is estimated to weigh between 160 to 170 pounds. 

The Texas-based animal rescue group, the Forgotten Pet Advocates took in Daisy from an independent sanctuary, where Daisy lived for the past 5 years. After the woman who Daisy stayed with was diagnosed with cancer, it was time for Daisy to look for a new home. 

It took many volunteers to lift Daisy and carry her off the property, but once a woman named Amy Beasley saw a photo of Daisy on Facebook, she knew she had to have her. 

Amy and her husband are experienced FPA foster parents, and they have stepped up and welcomed Daisy into their home. 

They will be responsible for caring for Daisy and getting her healthy until she will be able to move onto a forever home.

According to Daisy’s facebook page, tests confirm that Daisy is suffering from hypothyroidism, which has contributed significantly to her weight gain. 

Daisy’s waist is estimated to be more than 44 inches, and her ears were repeatedly ravaged by flies while she was at the outdoor sanctuary. 

After being moved to the Beasley’s home, Daisy is understandably stressed, but the FPA ordered a large crate for Daisy to seek shelter when she is feeling overwhelmed. 

Daisy has the Beasleys’ two dogs, Hunter and Mikey, to keep her company, and they are former shelter rescue dogs themselves. Hunter has already formed a bond with Daisy, who is known for comforting frightened dogs during his time as a shelter pup. 

Beasley told The Dodo: 

“He always looked out for scared dogs so he latched onto Daisy immediately. He is always checking on her.” 

Daisy is now only currently able to walk a few steps before getting tired, but day by day she is becoming stronger.

“She insisted on sleeping with the other dogs last night, and in the morning she was already standing and waiting to go outside, which is a big event,” Beasley continued. 

The Forgotten Pet Advocates has created a special Facebook page for Daisy where they will be providing updates on Daisy’s progress.

Obese Dog Finally On The Road To Recovery Thanks To Foster Mom is an article from: LifeDaily

The internet is always plaguing us with cool videos that show what happens when you put two unrelated things in a bottle.

For example, you may recall the reaction that occurs when you combine diet coke and mentos. But what happens when you put alcohol and vapor inside a giant jug and then set it on fire?

I’ll give you a hint: it’s something that you should not try at home under any circumstances.

It also creates a chain reaction that has been dubbed a ‘Whoosh Bottle.’ I can only assume it’s called a Whoosh Bottle because when lit on fire, it makes a sound that is similar to a great wind. The sound is caused by a fire being lit inside a vacuum.

It’s also important to note that while this experiment can totally kill you, it will obviously be well worth it. It literally creates a line of fire. Outside of fantasy films, I didn’t know this kind of thing was possible.
