9-Year-Old Saves The Day When He Breaks Baby Brother’s Fall Just In Time

A Florida Mom turned her back on her 11-month-old’s changing table for just a second, when tragedy almost struck.

The toddler squirmed and wriggled just enough to make it to the edge of the table and drop down to the floor. However, what could have very easily been a disastrous situation, turned into an opportunity for a miracle.

“I felt like something just came and pushed me forward, and when it happened, I just ran and caught him,” he said. As if he was motivated by force from above, the little 9-year-old was compelled to stop the fall just in time. It’s a miracle caught on camera.

Even more incredible is where he found his strength. “I would never be able to do that again, because I can’t carry my brother,” the young hero said.

Mom said she chose to share the video because she wants to praise her son for his heroism and warn other parents of the dangers of turning your back for a second. Even if it makes her look like a bad Mom, she wants to get the word out that it’s a mistake any parent could make.

On hot days, elephants love taking messy mud baths to escape from the heat since they can’t sweat to cool down, however, in an attempt to cool off, one poor elephant got trapped in the thick mud and became hopelessly trapped.

The next morning, nearby locals from the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya discovered the dehydrated elephant, who had fallen in the mud pit the night before and had totally exhausted itself while struggling and fighting the thick, deep mud. At first, the frightened elephant was weary of his rescuers at first, but quickly warmed up to them when they gave him water.

“It’s incredible how this wild powerful creature completely put his trust in us,” said Batian Craig, who got plenty of water for the elephant with friend Jules Banks while they waited for more people to arrive to begin digging him free. “I really felt like he knew we were there to help!”

After four long hours of digging and pulling, the desperate wild animal was finally free and walked away from the incident unharmed. “100 litres of water later, lots of digging, pulling, 3 cars and the whole community behind him, the joint team managed to get him out and he walked away,” the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy on their Facebook.

We’ve all been guilty of using our phones in bed and sometimes even falling asleep next to them. However, one Australian mom learned the hard way that you should NEVER fall asleep next to your phone.

Pregnant mom Melanie Tan Pelaez had been watching a few videos on her new iPhone 7 while it charged, and accidentally fell asleep with the phone on her arm. However, she was quickly awaken by a sharp pain in her right arm and discovered a massive, bright red burn.

“I was woken up by sudden pain, pins and needles, numbness and shortness of breath,” Melanie wrote in a post to her Facebook. “I went to get dressed and realized my arm was very red, so I then went to the GP and they advised me I needed to go straight to the hospital. The hospital did a number of tests and told me the mark was a burn from a foreign object and told me to check around my bed to see what could be the cause of the injury.”

The 24-year-old then notified Apple about the incident, but they are denying that their device could be responsible for her injury since the phone should shut down when overheating. “I have been an iPhone user since the beginning and have never had an issue or concern, so it’s really scary and disappointing that something like this happened and can happen to someone else,” said Melanie, who is sharing her story to warn others about the danger. “PLEASE be aware and SHARE.”

Rottweiler Rescues Pug Who Was Trapped In A Well For 10 Days

While fireworks are just a pretty light show for humans, they are absolutely terrifying for animals like dogs and cats. And when one pug heard the shocking noise of fireworks exploding in the sky, she got so spooked that she ran away from home.

In her panic, the small pug named Olive ended up falling right into an old, abandoned well and ended up getting trapped inside since her little legs were too short to climb out. Since that November 4th night, Olive’s family has been searching the nearby area for their missing four-legged best friend.

However, once Olive was missing for over a week, they started fearing the worst since Olive wouldn’t be able to survive in the cold, wintery weather for much longer. However, 10 days after Olive went missing, fellow dog owner Nichola Jones had been out walking her 110-pound Rottweiler aptly named Bear when he suddenly started acting weird.

“I have been following story and we have been walking around the area trying to find Olive,” Jones said. “I was just walking past a hedgerow and Bear stopped. He wouldn’t move. So I went through the hedge and I found a well and looked down and there was this black pug. It was Olive, just looking up. I couldn’t believe it. I climbed in and pulled her out. I was worried she might have hurt herself, she was petrified, but then her tail wagged. She was fine.”

Jones put out a Facebook alert once she got home, and the very next day Olive was reunited with her 16-year-old owner Saffron Mackeson. “I’m so relieved. She’s lost a lot of weight but other than that she’s fine. We were so happy when we got the call,” Saffron said. “Bear is amazing. He is beautiful and has saved Olive’s life. He deserves a medal,” Saffron’s mom Zed Hale said.

“Bear is a hero, he’s a wonder dog. He was behaving in such a strange way. He is such a happy animal. He’s so special and this just tops it,”Jones said.

Local Heroes Band Together To Rescue Scared Cows Trapped On A Tiny ‘Island’

After a deadly 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit southern New Zealand this week and sparked more than 100,000 landslides, about 2,000 people were left completely stranded and in need of rescuing.

However, humans weren’t the only ones impacted from the dangerous tremors. Livestock animals from a cattle farm near the small city of Kaikoura had been out grazing in a field when the ground began shaking and crumbling. Once the destruction was done, only a small family of cows stood trapped on a small ‘island’ that was left untouched.

And when helicopters were set out to survey the damage to the land, they discovered the trapped animals, who couldn’t jump down without being killed or breaking bones. And once news got out about the cows, everyone demanded rescuers be sent to help the animals before they would quickly die of dehydration.

However, with human lives still at risk, New Zealand’s emergency services explained the cows would have to wait, which is why a heroic group of farmers banded together to get the job done.

“We dug a track with a number of people … we managed to get a track in and bring them out,” said rescuer Derrick Milton who went out in the dangerous conditions and dug with pickaxes and shovels to form a track the cows could walk down. “They weren’t really happy about where they were, so that made it a bit easier to get them off.”

Woman Who Lost 200 Lbs Says She Owes It To The Dog She Bought Off Facebook

[Karen Kelly]

The journey of weight-loss is a journey of health and wellness, but more than that, it can be a journey of self-love.

Just ask 40-year-old Karen Kelly, who lost 200 pounds after making the life-changing decision to open her heart to new possibilities and get herself a dog.

[Karen Kelly]
[Karen Kelly]
It wasn’t the focus on dieting or the desire to look attractive that motivated her to lose the weight. It was the ability to love herself enough to discipline her habits and commit to somebody else in the process.

In September 2012, Kelly was at a low point in her life. Bad habits had led to many issues, one of which was unhealthy diet. But when a connection on Facebook said they were selling high-energy puppies, Kelly made the decision to buy one.

After an initial first meeting, she decided to adopt a pup named Mia. Then, she had four months to get into a routine of energy in preparation for the hyper pooch. The ending result was a journey of life changes, one of which resulted in losing 200 lbs. Here’s how she said she did it:

1. Make a serious and genuine commitment to yourself.

For Kelly, it was a near-death experience that made her realize something needed to change. She had struggled with depression and anxiety her whole life and when a truck on the wrong side of the road was coming straight at her, she was confronted with a turning point.

“My whole life was playing in my head — and I didn’t turn out of the way. At the last minute, the truck pulled away and I thought, ‘Oh my God, this has got to stop.’ I needed to start living.”

2. Find a routine that fits your lifestyle.

For Kelly, she knew a diet was not a commitment she could make. She had tried them in the past and lacked the necessary skills to hold to the discipline of a diet. Instead, buying a dog enabled a different form of control.

Rather than moving away from her vice with discipline, she instead forced herself to move toward her goal with discipline. She didn’t show restraint in her eating habits but did show routine in her exercise habits. After all, if she didn’t keep up with Mia, there would be dangerous consequences to pay.

[Karen Kelly]
[Karen Kelly]

3. Stick with the plan, even when the going gets tough.

“On our first walk, I weighed over 350 pounds. I couldn’t breathe I was so out of shape,” said Kelly. “We walked to the hair salon in our town, and I cried and it hurt. But the dog was so excited her tail was wagging. Every time I doubted myself, she’d pull me to go a little bit further.”

But she forced herself out of bed and took Mia for her high-energy walk. Now they walk five miles every day.

[Karen Kelly]
[Karen Kelly]

4. Try something new.

For Kelly, stepping outside her comfort zone meant trying Zumba classes after two years of walking.

“I remember sitting in the parking lot and thinking, ‘I don’t know how I’m going to get to the door,’ but I did it. And I kept going back. Eventually, I realized I was actually looking forward to my Zumba classes,” Kelly said.

In time, she made friends, joined a softball league, and even became a Zumba instructor herself. Today, she has a diverse network of friends and connections that keep her motivated, which leads to the most important point…

[Karen Kelly]
[Karen Kelly]

5. Have somebody to lean on.

If you’re going to go through the journey of self-love, you have to learn how to sit with yourself, but that doesn’t mean you have to learn to sit by yourself.

Having a network and finding friends with the same goals as you is an important part of the journey. For Kelly, she said once she lost a little bit of weight and made new friends, the rest became routine. Every week she was looking forward to a different event and each week more weight came off. If it wasn’t for her strong network, she says she could have never done it.

Do you find Kelly’s journey of weight loss and self-love an inspiring one? Tell us your thoughts in the comments and please SHARE with friends and family.

A mother and father from the U.K. always thought hide and seek was a perfectly safe game for their three children to play together.

However, dad Aaron Duffy and his wife learned the hard way that it could be extremely dangerous when their 5-year-old son named Riley ended up in the hospital covered in bruises, burns, and scrapes after picking the wrong place to hide from his sisters.

When it was Riley’s turn to hide, he thought the family’s dryer would be the perfect place to hide. However, the family’s dryer automatically turns on when the door is closed, so after climbing inside and pulling the door shut, he became trapped. Luckily, however, the family dog, Teddy, was there to save the day.

“Our family dog alerted my wife that something was up,” said Duffy, who couldn’t understand why Teddy wouldn’t stop barking. “When she went into the utility room, Riley was in the tumble-dryer with his iPad, going round and round – he’d obviously closed himself in.”

“I didn’t think it was possible to actually close the dryer door from inside … Riley’s got Down’s syndrome, you see, so he’s not aware of the dangers. To him, it’s probably just a nice wee hidey-hole,” said Duffy, who called an ambulance and got Riley in a cool shower while they waited. Riley was left with burns and bruises all over his body, however, the family is so grateful that their dog, who has previously alerted them to a phone charger that caught fire, was there to save the day once again.

Conjoined twin girls Miracle and Testimony Ayeni, of Nigeria, have been separated just days before their first birthday.

The girls who turned one on November 16, were separated earlier this month after an excruciating 18 hours on the operating table.

The twins arrived in the United States back in June, along with their parents, older sister, and pastor. The family wasn’t able to find a facility in Nigeria that could carry out the procedure, but fortunately, after months of research, they were referred to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

[Le Gonheur]
[Le Gonheur]
The hospital took on the operation free of charge, and even offered to fly the family to the United States for the procedure.

Miracle and Testimony were conjoined at the pelvic bone and shared portions of the small and large intestines. According to doctors, the challenges that came with separating the girls also meant separating those organs.

In the case of identical twins, the mother releases one egg that is fertilized and then splits, separating the twins into their own amniotic sacs. However, in the case of conjoined twins, the split does not happen in its entirety and the fetuses are left sharing an amniotic sac among other things, like vital organs.

Miracle and Testimony are now in recovery and are expected to return home to Nigeria in the coming months.

Man Discoveres Injured Animal In Zoo’s Wolf Enclosure Isn’t A Wolf

Many animals that call zoos home are incredibly dangerous and deadly animals, which is why one patron in China was horrified by who he saw behind the glass.

A tourist, who has been identified by his online username ‘ Yuan Shengpen bless’, had been visiting the Dezhou Zoo in eastern China with his girlfriend and had stopped at the wolf enclosure. However, as he looked, he realized that not all of the animals in the enclosure were, in fact, wolves.

One of the animals, which was walking with a limp and appeared to have a bite mark in his paw, appeared to be a Siberian Husky dog, not a wild wolf.”The husky won’t get bullied if it is kept with a pack of wolves, however it will surely feel very lonely,” Yuan said. “As we all know, wolves like living with each other and have a strong sense of territory. Don’t you think it would be miserable for the dog to live there?”

Yuan later posted his video on his Weibo account to express his concern, and it quickly went viral. The zoo then released a statement assuring the dog was fine and that he was in the enclosure to ‘increase the level of appreciation as well as the entertainment values for visitors’.

‘This dog clearly needs urgent veterinary attention and belongs in a loving home, not in a zoo to be exploited for the paying public,” said Elisa Allen, director of PETA UK. “The predatory instincts of wolves don’t simply vanish in captivity, and a limping domesticated dog thrown into their enclosure may well end up on the receiving end of aggression.’

Watch the entire video below to see the shocking moment one zoo visitor realized a dog had been thrown into a wolf exhibit.

Abused Dog Becomes New York’s First Pit Bull Police Dog

People often assume that dogs who suffered abuse or neglect as puppies will be scarred for life by their upbringing and become aggressive.

However, one incredible pit bull named Kiah is proving that even the most brutally abused animals can do anything if given a chance. As a puppy, Kiah was abused by a monster who hit her in the head with a hammer and caused a brutal injury to her skull.

Kiah was then rescued and sent to recover in a shelter in Kirby, Texas. Soon after, she caught Brad Croft’s eye because she didn’t seem to hold any resentment or hostility towards people. “From what I saw, I just couldn’t believe that she survived it, but she did,” said Croft, operations director for UniversalK9. He decided to bring her back to the organization, which trains dogs to become members of police and SWAT teams.

Kiah wasn’t a natural at first and was hard to train, but Croft was stunned by how fast she learned. After the 8-week training, it was clear that she was ready to work. “If we were to have some kind of contest, she would outwork [the other dogs] all days of the week. This dog is crazy good,” Croft said.

Two years ago, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department contacted Croft to add a police dog to their team and was paired with Kiah, who became the first pit bull police K9 in New York State. Ever since then, Kiah has been working as a narcotics and missing persons detection dog, and recently won the ASPCA Public Service Award.

“These awards recognize not just the heroism of particular animals, individuals, and organizations, but the incredible bond between people and their animals,” said ASPCA President and CEO Matt Bershadker. “That connection between people and pets is so strong that when you commit to helping one, you’re almost certainly helping the other.”

Man Wanted A Hot Soak At Yellowstone National Park, Dissolves In Boiling Acid

Rules are made to be broken, right? Not if you’re visiting Yellowstone National Park, that is.

If you find yourself at Yellowstone National Park, a national preserve known for its hot springs, steaming geysers, and pristine beauty, then do yourself a favor and stick to those rules like super glue.

When 23-year-old college graduate Colin Scott went on a post-grad trip, the adventurer wanted to take a dip in a hot pool, the Norris Geyser Basin. The park bans bathing in hot pools because many have caustic repercussions. Scott consequently died as a result of entering the water.

[TechGenMac]
[TechGenMac]
According to park officials, the incident happened on June 7. They said Scott’s sister, Sable Scott, told them her brother had reached to check the temperature of the water. He then slipped and fell into the high acidic water. She tried to rescue her brother, but unfortunately, the attempt was unsuccessful.

Sable Scott notified park officials but rescue attempts were thwarted by an approaching thunderstorm. Park officials returned to the hot pool the next day to retrieve the body, but there were no remains to retrieve. The strong acid had disintegrated the body.

[Yellowstone National Park]
[Yellowstone National Park]
This is not the first incident in which unsuspecting visitors have accidentally become victims of the hot pool. Yellowstone’s website boasts cautionary tales of people who have gotten to close to the deadly waters and lost their lives to it. At least 20 people before Scott have died in the waters, the most recent happening in 2000.

Deputy Chief Ranger Lorant Veress told news sources the park encloses dangerous pools for the preservation of nature, but mostly “for the safety of people, because it’s a very unforgiving environment.”

Hunter Finds Missing Girl Clinging To A Tree In A River

When one Minnesota man went on a hunting trip this past weekend with his friends, he had hoped he would be able to track down some deer. Fortunately, he ended up finding something much more important.

Twenty-eight-year-old hunter Nathan Stoffel had heard that 12-year-old Mya Ann Arriaga had recently gone missing, so when he and his friends went on a hunting trip to his family’s land, they all knew to keep an eye out for her. However, the girl had already been missing for 30 hours, and since none of the rescue crews had been able to find her, Stoffel didn’t think they’d have any luck.

The volunteer firefighter had gone off to try and find deer when he noticed something in the water clinging to a tree. “I knew right away that shouldn’t be there. That’s something out of the ordinary… As I got closer, I knew it was her. I panicked a bit,” said Stoffel, who thought the girl was dead. “Then I ran to her because I saw her arm moving.”

Stoffel attempted to get Mya’s attention and throw a rope to her to rescue her, but the little girl has autism and doesn’t speak, so he instead called 911 and waited with her until rescuers arrived. “She never really made eye contact with me and I was like, ‘Help is here. It’s on the way!’ She was shivering and that’s when she turned her head and looked at me and it sent chills down my spine,” Stoffel said about the 12-year-old who was wearing pajamas and had no shoes on. “You could just see the fear. It was a look I will never forget.”

Mya is now in the hospital recovering but is in fair condition, and her family is so thankful that their daughter was found. “This was the hunt of a lifetime. We will never forget it,” Stoffel said. “It really is amazing,” St. Peter Police Chief Matt Peters said. “Especially considering how long she was out in the elements.”

Many dog owners think it isn’t a big deal to give their pup a few extra treats when they’re being good or giving in and allowing them a few bites of their leftovers when they beg.

However, one UK dog owner learned the hard way that those innocent indulgences can add up when Millie the Dalmatian ended up gaining so much weight that she weighed as much as an adult person. Normally, healthy Dalmatians weight anywhere from 44-55 pounds.

After years of being over-fed and not being taken out to exercise enough, the nine-year-old dog ended up weighing 147 pounds. With all the extra weight, Millie started struggling to move around and her owner ended up giving her to an animal care home since they couldn’t care for her anymore.

The team from Dogs Trust in Glasgow immediately got to work and set up a plan to get her to exercise more and eat healthier meals. “Excess weight puts strain on a dog’s body, particularly the heart and joints, so it’s really important that every dog has regular exercise and isn’t over-fed,” said Dogs Trust Deputy Veterinary Director Runa Hanaghan.

Millie has already started losing weight and has even found a new home that plans on continuing her new healthy lifestyle. “When we first saw Millie on the Dogs Trust website, we were instantly won over by her smile.

Older dogs have so much to give as they get a new lease of life when they find a loving home,” said new owner Astra Foster. “We plan on making sure Millie continues her healthy new lifestyle and look forward to jumping in the car, getting out of the city and going for long walks in the country.”

A little boy named Ronan Mateer was the grateful recipient of thousands of dollars in proceeds from the Halloween Aid Haunted House in his hometown of Wisconsin.

Bonita Wolosek has been running the Halloween Aid event for eight years now, and so far has raised over $80,000 for families like the Mateer’s, whose son Ronan suffers from cancer.

Ronan was very thankful to receive the money from the fundraiser, but when he heard about a baby named Charlie who was also suffering from cancer, he knew he couldn’t keep all the money himself. Ronan decided to generously share the money with three-month-old Charlie Rein, who suffers from ALK + Histiocytosis

“When Bonita first called me and told me there was another little boy who had cancer and wanted to donate part of his proceeds from his fundraiser to Charlie, I just started crying, because that’s just so nice,” Charlie’s mom, Bethany Rein told WSAW.

When the Mateer’s and the Rein’s finally met, they immediately understood what each other was going through. There was even in a point in the video you are about to see below and the mother’s finished each other’s sentences. “We’re kindred spirits, we already know what the other is going through,” said Bethany Rein, Charlie’s mom. “We’re able to help out a family in the same way we’ve been helped,” said Korinna Dahlke, Ronan’s mom.

Korinna’s last word of advice to the Rein’s was “Keep thinking positively and it’s going to come true. Yeah, don’t worry about anything else, worry about Charlie. Everything else is background noise,” said Korinna Dahlke to Bethany Rein.

Yazidi Parents Who Survived Islamic State Atrocities Name New Baby ‘Trump’

Yazidi parents who survived atrocities at the hands of the Islamic State named their newborn baby ‘Trump’ minutes after the next President of the United States was announced.

The new mother, whose name has been withheld for safety reasons, was reportedly in labor as the votes were being counted in the U.S. and settled on the name ‘Trump’, because of promises for hope and change, according to Haym Solomon Center.

The Yazidi parents have been running from the Islamic State for years. Yazidis are part of the ethnically Kurdish religious group and have unfortunately been forgotten by most of the world. ISIS has been slaughtering men, women, and children of this culture since 2014.

[Wikipedia]
The genocide has led to the flight of the Yazidi people from their ancestral lands in Northern Iraq and led to the abduction of Yazidi women. The violence has killed more than 5,000 Yazidi people during “forced conversion campaigns.”

“We have been going through a never-ending genocide over the last two years at the hands of ISIS,” said the father of baby Trump. “[President Barack] Obama failed to take out ISIS or help liberate the thousands of Yazidi women and children that are still enslaved by ISIS. While this baby may be the first to take the President-Elect’s name after the election, he isn’t the first to bear the name. In Kenya, a child was born months three ago and named “Donald Trump Otiendo.” Kenyans have a long-standing tradition of naming their children with words pulled from headlines. Past cases have shown children being named “President Barack Obama” and “Air Force One.”

What do you make of this child being named ‘Trump?’ Tell us your thoughts in the comments and please SHARE with friends and family.

A mom says she cured her stress-induced eczema with soap made from her own breast milk.

Thirty-one-year-old Kimberly Gladman says she will never go back to store-bought soaps after her strange homemade remedy cured her recurring ailment for which there is no known cure.

The Aussie Mom, originally from Scotland, started making her own soaps to inspire creativity in her four-year-old and make bathtime more fun. But when the eczema wasn’t going away on her arms and thighs, no matter how many solutions she tried this mom couldn’t get rid of her eczema. Then, she discovered frozen breast milk in her freezer and had a bright idea.

The adventurous mom tried adding her own milk to a batch of soap and when she used it on her eczema, she said it cleared up her condition almost immediately, which she admitted her husband found disgusting.

Gladman said she’s tried all kinds of prescriptions from doctors and natural remedies, but none have worked. “Then my breast milk helped immediately. I was amazed,” said Gladman.

The creative Mom has her own soap making business and will even make breast milk soap for her clients, providing they send their own milk. She said she doesn’t feel comfortable having other people use her own breast milk.

Another person that doesn’t feel comfortable about the breast milk soap is Gladman’s own husband. “So he’ll drink goats’ milk but won’t wash with the breast milk from someone he knows,” she said. He may not be a fan, but plenty of others are, including clients reaching as far as Finland.

Little Girl Miraculously Recovers After Herpes Nearly Destroyed Her Face

The only painful suffering a young child should ever have to deal with is the trauma of the occasional skinned knee or a tummy ache.

That’s why it’s so horrifying to think that three-year-old Sienna Duffield was in terrible pain for over a year after a peck on the lips from a family member caused her to get something far, far worse.

Doctors mistakenly thought the toddler had eczema or severe allergies when she first developed painful, itchy blisters near her mouth around October 2015. When the little girl’s condition worsened and she stopped eating her mother Savina French-Bell rushed her to the hospital.

“Sienna was being eaten alive by her skin infection,” her mother Savina French-Bell, 21, said to Click on Detroit. “It came out of nowhere on her second birthday when she started developing ulcers in her mouth. She stopped eating and every day for eight months was horrific. There was always blood on her clothes and I was scared to take her outside.”

After doctors prescribed multiple rash creams, it became clear that no over-the-counter ointment could cure the little girl’s severe infection. “For eight months, no antibiotics were working as the infection kept coming back and her face was being ravaged,” said Savina. “I was told she may have allergies to something, so I kept her away from pets and made sure she no longer consumed any dairy products.”

That’s when it became clear that Sienna didn’t just have an infection, she had Herpes Simplex, an incurable STD.

“I realized that she kissed a family member last year which brought on the infection,” Savina said to Click on Detroit. “Everyone in the family was distraught.”

Savina revealed she had to wash her daughter’s clothes and sheets constantly because her sensitive skin was covered in blood and pus from the never ending itching.

“It started to look like someone had thrown acid over her face, it spread from her mouth to her cheeks, and above her eyes,” Savina said. “People would give us horrible looks, children would stare and adults would make nasty comments.

Thankfully, one antibiotic finally worked for the little girl and her herpes has gone through a dormant period. The distraught mom shared her story to help other parents searching for answers. “Her face took so long to heal because her body was so weak,” Savina said.

“For the past few months Sienna’s face has looked amazing and the infection has not returned,”she continued.

“There is always a chance of it coming back, but fingers crossed it won’t happen and her skin will stay as good as it is now. It’s great to be able to go outside and not get any horrible comments from anyone.”

Have you ever tried to take a seat and had another person go for the exact same seat at the exact same time as you?

Now imagine you’re a cat and rather than attempting to take a seat, you have another cat going for your spot on a 7-foot wall at the exact same moment as you. All would be fine and dandy in this predicament if you weren’t already balancing on all ten toes with a misstep leading to a long fall down the wall.

[Rumble]
[Rumble]
For the funny cats in the following viral video. one wrong move meant plummeting down the brick wall (and likely landing on their feet–but who wants to deal with that nuisance, right?). After the strange coincidence, the cats just kinda sat there waiting for something to happen. What followed was either an awkward game of twister or an attempt to free themselves from their funny predicament that only a couple of cats could find themselves entangled in.

The cats managed to remove themselves from the weird situation and fortunately survived with all limbs intact, but their dignity may have been a little damaged.

When most people come face to face with an emergency situation, they immediately call the police, and then whip out their phones and begin filming, which is exactly what one Russian man did when he saw a dog fall through the thin ice of a pond.

Yet as Alexander Levashov filmed, an unknown hero, who was shirtless and shoeless, saw the struggling dog and knew there wasn’t enough time to wait for first responders. Instead, he sprinted onto the ice that wasn’t thick enough to hold a dog’s weight, nevermind his, and got to work rescuing the freezing dog.

To keep the ice from breaking more, the man got down and laid down on his bare chest and tried to reach around and grab the dog’s neck. Unfortunately, the dog was petrified and began biting his rescuer and barking, but even after getting bitten in the hand, the rescuer persisted and managed to pull the animal out by the neck.

Both the dog and his hero ran to safety and shortly after, first responders showed up and treated the man’s bite and miraculously the dog was uninjured after his brush with death.

Parents trust that the people they leave their children with all day at school will teach them and help them grow as people. However, they also expect that they will properly care for them if and when they get hurt.

Now one Ohio mom is demanding answers from her 7-year-old son’s school after he broke his ankle while at school. Not only did they fail to contact her after the incident, but they also sent him back to class with an ice pack and let him suffer for hours until the school day finished.

While playing in gym class at Miles Park Elementary School in Cleveland, Akeem Jones injured his ankle, and when he told the substitute teacher, he was sent to the nurse to get an ice pack. Despite complaining about the pain, they sent him back to class and had him sit in tears until his mom, Sierra Jones, arrived to pick him up.

“The kids ran straight to my car and said, ‘Akeem is crying, Akeem is hollering.’ Before I even walked in the school I hear my baby screaming and hollering,” Jones said. After seeing how much pain her second-grader was clearly in, she rushed him to the hospital, where doctors discovered he had broken his ankle and would need to be in a cast for at least six weeks.

“I felt very sad that I couldn’t get to my son when it first happened to help him. I didn’t get a call from a teacher a principal, nobody,” said Jones, who can’t understand why the school didn’t contact her when her son was injured and in pain.

Watch the entire video below to see what the school has to say after failing to follow their own protocol.
