Hospital Breaks Protocol So A Dog Can Say Goodbye To Her Human

A dog would do anything or go anywhere for their human best friend, which is why it can be so tough on them when their owner suddenly disappears one day.

And when 33-year-old Ryan Jessen suddenly suffered from a brain hemorrhage and was rushed to the hospital, his beloved dog Mollie couldn’t understand where her owner was and what she could have done to make him not want to come home and play like they used to.

Tragically, Ryan did not recover from the brain hemorrhage, and he died in the hospital on November 30. “He thought he had a migraine,” Michelle Jessen said. “But it was a ventricular brain hemorrhage. They think it was brought on by high blood pressure, and there’s speculation that his frequent consumption of energy drinks may have contributed.”

His entire family was devastated, but they knew how hard it was going to be for Mollie, who still didn’t understand that Ryan didn’t intentionally abandon her. And when they mentioned it to the hospital staff, the hospital, which doesn’t allow pets, decided to let Mollie get some closure. “The hospital did the sweetest thing for us and allowed us to bring my brother’s dog in to “say goodbye” so she’d know why her human never came home,” Michelle said. “If you knew my brother, he really loved his sweet dog.”

Mollie and the rest of Ryan’s family will always miss him severely, but thanks to the hospital’s kindness, Mollie now knows why Ryan never came home. And the incredible family is going to make sure Mollie always feels loved. “Don’t worry about the dog! We’re keeping her!!! She’s part of the family,” Michelle said.

Little Boy Is Proud After Decorating His Entire Kitchen With Carrots

One little man is teaching us a very valuable lesson: it’s important to take pride in your hard work.

When this carrot-loving kid decided to take his enjoyment for his favorite vegetable to a whole new level, dad had to catch it on camera.

A woman named Madison on Twitter shared the photo of the boy, saying “My cousin just posted this picture of his son. Look how excited and proud he is of where he put all the carrots. I’m cracking up.”

Apparently, the kid took carrots and put them all over the drawer handles in the kitchen, making for a pretty hilarious scene.

Looking very accomplished, his dad took a photo, and after Madison posted it on Twitter, people had some pretty hilarious responses to it.

You may be wondering how the cabinets will open with the carrots, but I think this boy sacrificed efficiency for interior design.

Has your child ever done anything like this?

Missouri Town Pays $6K After Officer Purposely Killed Dog At A Shooting Range

A southwest Missouri police officer resigned after he shot and killed a dog at the department’s shooting range.

The incident happened in Sparta, about 200 miles from of St. Louis, located near Springfield. Then-Police Chief Andrew Spencer caught resident Elizabeth Womack’s dog when it got loose, according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He put the animal in a crate with plans to take it to an animal shelter.

A press release said the dog was never aggressive, however, Spencer said in a police report that the dog was aggressive and barking at people.

Spencer additionally said that he couldn’t find an animal shelter nearby that could accept the dog so he followed through with a rather unusual decision. He brought the dog to the police department’s shooting range and put the poor animal down himself.

Not only does this not follow standard protocol, but authorities also failed to wait the standard five-day period that’s required before loose dogs can be put to sleep. In response to the incident, the town agreed to a $6,000 settlement.

911 Dispatcher Coaches Brave Mom Through Labor

[6ABC]

First off, hats off to Ms. Whitehouse and all the other 911 dispatchers out there who have to deal with callers who are completely frantic, terrified, angry, and sometimes just pulling the cops’ chain (just like this little boy who tried to get officers to his home). Think about it: people often have a hard time calming down loved ones and best friends, let alone perfect strangers. And getting the right information out of callers can be a completely different battle. But this dispatcher truly went above and beyond the call of duty by walking this terrified woman through the most intense day of her life. Not only did she have the pregnant woman’s life in her hands, but now a newborn baby, too.

Secondly, bravo to baby Kennedy’s amazing momma! They say your second baby comes a little easier, but it took a lot of guts (literally) for this woman to go through labor completely on her own while staying on the phone. She’s definitely going to make one great mom!

A South African man who was thought to be dead after a motorcycle crash was, in fact, alive and placed in a morgue refrigerator, much to the shock and dismay of his heartbroken family…

The KwaZulu-Natal health department has launched an inquiry after a man, thought to be dead, was found alive in the fridge of a state mortuary, according to News 24. State officials say the man was the victim of a crash that happened last Monday.

His body was placed in the refrigerator of the Phoenix mortuary in Durban after Emergency Medical Rescue Services declared him dead. Unfortunately, the medical experts were wrong.

When his family came Tuesday morning to identify the body, mortuary staff found the man was breathing and alive. He was immediately transferred to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for resuscitation. His relatives have since gone under counseling for the disturbing situation.

This alarming story gives evidence to the fact that hospitals and emergency response units have serious shortcomings in the KZN health department.

“The department can confirm that an internal inquiry is underway regarding this matter,” department head Sifiso Mtshali said on Friday.

In the United States, dogs are seen as loyal companions and animals that should be protected. However, many places in other parts of the world don’t view our favorite four-legged pet with quite as much love.

In China, dogs are actually seen as food and there’s even a highly controversial annual dog meat festival called the Yulin Dog Meat Festival where nearly 10,000 dogs are slaughtered each year. And the dog meat traders who are responsible for gathering that many dogs are known for subjecting the poor animals to unbelievable cruelty.

Recently, a heartless meat trader in China began hunting a dog on the street with arrows. But even after being shot twice in his side, the extremely bloody dog was still managing to stand. Thankfully, a dog lover named Qiao Wei had witnessed the sick attack, and rescued the injured pup before it was too late.

Wei gently picked the dog up and rushed him to a veterinarian in central China. Once at the vet, the team took x-rays to determine the severity of the damage, and managed to remove the two arrows safely. Now, the dog is being cared for by the Qimin Animal Protection Association and is finally getting a chance to heal.

It can be hard to remain positive after spending weeks or months cooped up in the hospital, and it’s even harder during the holidays when all you want to do is spend quality time at home with family.

In order to cheer patients up, the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center in California brings in a special visitor named Santo to help everyone forget about being sick, even if it’s just for a moment. The patients often look forward to Santo and his owner’s visit, but in his most recent trip to the hospital, Santo was even more cheerful than he normally is.

Santo and another therapy dog visit the hospital on a regular basis and even have their own official ID badges. “The patients are delighted to see him come down the hallway in the VW,” a hospital spokeswoman said. “Everybody loves it, everyone looks forward to the dogs coming in.”

Normally Santo doesn’t come dressed up, but when he visited this past week, he arrived in an adorable festive outfit and even decorated his remote-controlled VW car. “My mom works at a hospital & they have this service dog go around to cheer up patients. Here he is earlier today with the Christmas spirit,” said Julie, whose mom works at the hospital and shared the precious photos on social media.

Family Finds A Kitten In The Street, Then Realize It’s Not A Cat

Many newborn animals don’t stand a chance without their mothers in the wild, which is why one family from Thailand quickly rescued an abandoned kitten that was lying all alone in the street.

Once they scooped the newborn up, they realized it must have been born just a few hours earlier. And when they brought her inside the safety of their home, they looked closer at his coat, face, and paws and started to wonder if the animal they saved was a typical house cat.

Photo by Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand
Photo by Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand

To be safe they called rescuers from the Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand, who picked the baby up and realized the ‘house cat’ was actually a fishing cat, an extremely rare species that is going extinct. “We were rather suspicious as to why the kitten had been found without its mother,” WFFT said.

“Upon arrival we were surprised to find a tiny fishing cat kitten that was clearly only born a few hours ago.” But the family who found the kitten explained that they had helped raise the baby’s mother. “We were told that the mother of the fishing kitten was actually a released rescued animal, that they had found in a rice field next to the house while working a few years ago. They raised the cat into adulthood and then released it back to the wild.”

Photo by Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand

The mother felt safe around the family and had come to their property to give birth, and the rescuers believe she misplaced one of her babies while moving them to a safe spot. “While moving the kittens she had dropped this particular one in the road,” WFFT said.

The family and the rescuers waited to see if the mother would come back for her baby, but when she never returned, they brought the kitten, who they named Simba, to their hospital since he was very cold and needed milk. “The Fishing Cat faces a high risk of extinction throughout its range and is thought to be amongst the most vulnerable of the small and medium-sized cats in Southeast Asia,” WFFT said. “For now, he is under round the clock care from our vet team, spending his time in a special incubator that creates a perfect environment where his special needs can be met.”

Firefighters and police officers are prepared to sacrifice everything in order to save a life, and it doesn’t matter if the victim walks on two legs or four.

After a fire broke out in an apartment in Pitești, Romania, the local fire department arrived at the scene and managed to rescue the 51-year-old man and his dog from the burning unit. The man had been seriously injured and was rushed to the hospital, and his poor dog, who was lying motionless on the curb, was left behind.

When a local firefighter spotted the dog, however, he ran to the dog’s side and realized the animal was suffering from smoke inhalation. The dog was quickly dying, so Costache Mugurel gave the dog chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Mugurel placed an oxygen mask over the dog’s snout when he noticed the dog began breathing on his own again, and the pup was later taken to a veterinary clinic to recuperate.  “Nobody gets left behind,” Mugurel wrote on his Facebook after the video of his heroic actions started spreading on social media.

A Nebraska woman went through a roller coaster of emotions last Wednesday when her boyfriend, who she believed was just arrested, dropped down on one knee and popped the question instead of asking for bail money.

Amber Kult works as a correction officer at the Washington County jail and she was shocked when she learned the Washington County’s Sheriff’s Office assisted in arresting her boyfriend Cameron Dean.

Deputies agreed to pick up Dean at his workplace and bring him to jail where his girlfriend, Kult, worked.

The entire event was even recorded by the deputy’s bodycam, which the Sheriff’s Office later posted to their Facebook page, writing, “Every once in awhile something awesome happens in the Washington County Jail, yesterday was one of those days. The video speaks for itself. No inmates or Correction’s officer were injured during this incident.”

In the video, the deputy arrives at the station with Dean in handcuffs and Kult greets him saying, “No. Hey, what the f***, man?”

Completely unaware to why her boyfriend has been arrested, Dean then drops to one knee once his handcuffs are removed and takes out a ring and proposesKult is in tears and says, “No, really?” She then jokingly tells her colleagues, “I’m going to kill you!”

Months after Steve Greig’s dog died, he still felt the same amount of heartbreak as right after he lost his best friend.

Unable to shake the feeling of his beloved pooch away, Greig decided to fill the void by giving another dog an incredible life.

“I was just so in love with this dog, we did everything together,” he said. “[Wolfgang] died, and he died too soon. I was distraught over it. I couldn’t make it go away, so I decided if something good came out of his death, I could feel better about it,” Greig told Inside Edition

Greig went to his local shelter in Denver, Colorado, and asked to adopt the “least adoptable” senior dog they had. He believed that adopting a dog at an age Wolfgang (his dog who passed) never reached would help honor his memory.

Fast-forward years later, Greig now has 8 older shelter dogs of his own, in addition to a pig named Bikini, four chickens, two ducks, a rabbit, and even a pigeon.

Greig has dedicated his life to taking care of animals and adopting elderly ones.  “I love having dogs. There’s just something so special about the old ones,” Greig said told Inside Edition. “They’re so grateful and sweet. An older dog knows who they are.”

Each day, Greig wakes up at 5a.m. and makes breakfast for his big and blended family. Most of his pets have different diets, so his day consists of walks to the park, vet appointments and tons of cuddles.

“Whenever I sit or lie down at a dog-friendly level, there are always at least three or four of [dogs] attached,” Greig writes on Instagram.

Greig tells The Dodo that older dogs are just wiser animals. “You kind of know what you want out of life once you become a certain age. These dogs know who they are and it’s easy to develop a relationship with a person or pet who knows who they are. It’s just fulfilling knowing that these guys are happy and loved and well-taken care of. It makes my days worthwhile.”

While Greig has no more room for pets at the moment, he does intend to adopt more senior dogs in the future.

Inspiring Woman Tells About Her Dog Sanctuary Known As The ‘Land of the Mutts’

On the lush green countrysides of Costa Rica, a hero by the name of Lya Battle has devoted her life fighting for the dogs.

Lya Battle’s epic story was brought to LifeDaily’s attention by Great Big Story, a site for sharing the untold, overlooked, and flat-out amazing.

The story of Lya Battle and her strays does not fall short of outstanding. Battle is the founder and owner of a dog sanctuary in Costa Rica known as Territorio de Zaguates, or ‘Land of the Mutts.’ The haven is heaven to dogs without homes. Often, mutts are overlooked because of their lack of a breed. They are abandoned on the streets and left to fend for themselves.

[Great Big Story]
[Great Big Story]
These are the dogs who haven’t known a lot of love, yet they are always eager to find more. Battle and her dedicated team work tirelessly to ensure the animals are fed, groomed, and loved, which is no small feat when you have 700 hundred hungry mouths to feed. In fact, these pooches eat about $500 worth of food a day. They eat so much that Battle works a full-time job just to keep the animals fed and happy.

[Great Big Story]

Battle said the sanctuary is a labor of love. “You can’t pay someone to care for an animal, truly,” she told the storytellers.

Mom And Dog Fell Into An Icy Pond, But 8-Year-Old’s Quick-Thinking Saved Their Lives

When an Aurora, Illinois woman’s dog ventured too far from home and fell through an ice-covered pond, she didn’t hesitate to go after her.

Cathy Medernach pulled out her canoe and decided to try and save her beloved family dog herself, a move that nearly cost her her life.
As the brave pet parent attempted to save her dog, Bailey, she fell out of the canoe and joined her in the icy water.

“Is this the way I am going to go?”, Medernach thought as she plunged in the freezing cold pond. “I thought, this is not the way this is going to (end),” Medernach said. “I started yelling at the top of my lungs for help. I saw my son come running down. I told him to go back into the house and call for help. When I was screaming bloody murder, I heard sirens coming. I kept talking to my dog that we were going to be OK.”

Luckily, Cathy’s 8-year-old son saw the entire incident and immediately called his father for help. “He told me the dog was in the pond and couldn’t get out,” Eric Medernach told the Aurora Beacon-News. “He started crying and said Mom was in the pond with the dog, and neither one of them could get out. At that time, my heart dropped.”

Thankfully, hero first responders soon arrived on the scene and were able to pull them both to safety.

The mom said she got too caught up in trying to save her pet and does have some regrets looking back. “I really wanted to save my dog. There was nothing else that I was thinking of,” Cathy told Aurora Beacon-News.

“She did go under twice and yelped at one point. I kept talking to her to calm her down,” she said of the family dog before she grabbed the canoe and a broom because she couldn’t find the oar in time.

“I thought that I could push the boat along, but that didn’t work for me,” she said. “When I took the first paddle, the boat flipped and I fell into the water.”

“I thought that I would be able to get myself back into the canoe, but I didn’t have the strength. I tried using the ice as leverage, but that didn’t work. I have bruises on my legs to show for it.”

After Medernach was saved, hero divers in wet suits went in to save the dog, who was much further out in the pond. While Cathy was only in the water for about 15 minutes, the brave pooch was in for 30 before she was rescued. “She is a tough dog,” the fire chief said.

“We still need to watch Bailey,” Medernach said. “She was suffering from hypothermia for about a half-hour. She’s wearing a shirt the hospital gave her. She’s not leaving our side.”

Strangely enough, Eric Medernach is both a firefighter and a paramedic who told Aurora Beacon-News he is well aware of these types of dangers this year and is proud of his son for doing the right thing.

“I had a million thoughts rush through my mind from previous experiences,” he said. “Sometimes the outcome isn’t always like it was today.”

[WZZM13] MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, MICH. – It seemed innocent enough, but urgent: someone called 911 early Sunday, Dec. 11, to report a dog wandering around in the snowstorm. She appeared hurt, making the situation even more concerning given the cold and snow. Muskegon-based Pound Buddies took the call and sent a staff member to a vacant lot in Muskegon Heights where the dog last was seen, according to a post on its Facebook page. The employee came across the dog, now curled up in a ball and covered with snow. She allowed him to approach and put on a collar. When she stood up, the employee found many more animals in need — four newborn puppies. “It was a Christmas miracle,” the staffer reportedly said. As of Sunday morning, the mother dog was “very responsive” to staff and enjoyed the love. The puppies are no more than two days old.

With all the joy and love the holiday season brings, it’s hard to deny that it can also be a very difficult time for many people who don’t have families, loved ones to celebrate or a place to go home to. And the same can be said for the countless homeless and helpless animals who have nothing to do but roam the streets searching for food and shelter.

Thankfully, people tend to be a little more generous this time of year and when this poor mother dog and her pups were discovered they went above and beyond to contact the Pound Buddies to help.

A man named Patrick Hennessey was on his way to work one morning in Orange County, Florida, when he came across two pit bulls abandoned in the middle of a busy road.

It was 4:30am at the time, still long before dawn, and Hennessey knew the dogs were in need of help and in serious danger.

The pit bulls refused to leave each other’s sides or move in any way, and one of the dogs had been bleeding. Hennessey contacted the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, who sent two officers, Deputy Reed and Deputy Boggs to wait with the dogs until Orange County Animal Services could come and get them.

As soon as deputies arrived, the pit bulls seemed to realize that help was coming, and they relaxed just a little.

The dogs snuggled up to the officers and they even let them hold them as the officers applied gauze to the injured dog’s leg to help stop the bleeding.

The dogs stayed with the officers until Orange County Animal Services arrived, who took the dogs off the street and brought them to the shelter.

Staff members at the shelter named the dogs Justice and Liberty, who stayed in isolation until they recovered due to their injuries and traumatic ordeal.

“Deputies Boggs and Reed comforted the two scared dogs while waiting for Animal Services to arrive,” Orange County Animal Services wrote on its Facebook page. “These two ladies are now safe and thriving in our care.”

We’re so grateful these two pit bulls were rescued, and we are sure they’d make a lovely addition to a deserving family.

When two Atlanta friends brought their godson Aryeh to the zoo, they knew they had to show him the lion enclosure since lions are the 11-month-old’s favorite animal.

And when Cammi Fanning, Aryeh, and Aryeh’s godfather arrived at Zoo Atlanta, they headed straight to the lion enclosure but were disappointed when the lions weren’t out. “It was a pretty cold day so when we first arrived, the lions weren’t out yet,” Fanning wrote online.

Fanning also explained how Aryeh means lion in Hebrew and how his mom even packed his favorite lion costume, so before leaving, the group stopped by the lion enclosure one last time. “We saw the rest of the animals and stopped by the lion exhibit on our way out, saw that the lions were out and put Aryeh in his costume, thinking we’d snap a picture of him with the lions in the background,” Fannin said.

“The lions were immediately interested in our little lion cub, and it wasn’t long before they couldn’t stand their curiosity any longer and came right up to the glass! Aryeh was completely unfazed and interacted with the lions for a few minutes,” Fanning said of the incredible moment the real lions bonded with Aryeh. “We took some pictures and videos before moving along as the lions started getting a little worked up and we didn’t want to make them too anxious.”

Vet Warns Dog Owners About Mysterious Flesh-Eating Disease

Taking a dog for daily walks is the best way for dogs to burn off all their energy and stay healthy, but one UK vet is warning dog owners that it might also lead to an incurable, deadly disease.

Originally, the canine disease called Alabama Rot popped up in the United States in the 1980s and first seemed to only affect Greyhounds, however, the incurable disease, which causes skin sores and kidney failure, can affect any dog breed and has begun popping up in other countries.

“The cause of Alabama Rot is still unknown and sadly there is no known way to prevent a dog from contracting the disease,” said David Walker, an expert in the disease from Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists. Veterinarians are not sure how many cases are currently in the United States, but three new cases just emerged in the UK.

In order to protect your dog, Dr. Huw Stacey, director of clinical services at Vet4Pets, is warning dog owners to pay close attention to early warning signs. “The first sign is normally seen is a skin sore that isn’t caused by a known injury. Most commonly these sores are found below the elbow or knee and appear as a distinct swelling, a patch of red skin or are open or ulcer-like.”

While there is still no known cause, Vets4Pets also warns to always bathe your dog after muddy walks since it is believed to be picked up on the legs and paws.

Train Conductor Saves Cat Who Was Frozen Under The Engine

Cats are known for their nine lives, however, one train conductor from the Canadian National Railway still can’t figure out how a miracle cat survived being frozen underneath a train’s engine for hours on a -37 degree winter night.

Just before a train was set to leave a station in Alberta, the train’s conductor, Brad Slater, decided to kill some extra time by going out in the freezing cold and inspecting the train to make sure the train was ready for the trip. And while walking past the first and second engine, which has shut down earlier on the trip, he heard a weak cry.

“His strained voice came over the radio: ‘Will can you come out here. I’ve found something.’,” engineer Will Munsey said. “I’ve heard that voice before and it’s never anything good. Reaching for my hat and gloves, I started out the door thinking, ‘damn, he’s found a body between the rails… or a leg… or an arm.’ It’s a walk none of us wants to make, but many have.”

When Slater pointed his flashlight in the engine’s direction, he discovered a cat that had somehow managed to stay alive in the extreme weather. Will was certain they’d have to put the dying cat out of its misery, but Slater begged to save it and bring in onboard. “I said right to Will, ‘I can’t leave him.’ I can’t imagine leaving him to die, and going 10 hours on that train, not knowing. How could anybody do that?”

Finally, Will relented and let Slater try to rescue the poor animal. “A smile grew underneath his thick beard… He had barely reached out his arms and called, ‘c’mon little buddy,’ when the frozen little body nearly leapt into his arms,” Will said. Once inside, Slater lovingly wrapped the cat up in an extra t-shirt, gently peeled some of the ice and frozen mud off his face and body, and gave him water and bits of his beef jerky that he had in his bag. The grateful cat then slept behind Slater’s back the entire way home.

Once off duty, Slater called his wife, who came down with a cat carrier for the cat, who they named Q199, the cab which he was found underneath. “I slept with him last night. He slept right by my chest all night,” Slater said. “He’s a purr machine.” On Monday, Slater brought Q199 to the vet, and while he lost three-quarters of one ear and may lose the other to frostbite, the vet found nothing else wrong.

“I want to thank a stupid little cat and a big-hearted, young conductor for reminding me that little things can be pretty damned beautiful,” said Munsey, whose faith in humanity was restored after the experience. “It’s a miracle. There’s no other way to put this. The train was doing 60 miles per hour and he’s underneath … able to hold on and he’s missing nails … he could have fallen and got run over,” Slater said.

Bus Driver Gave His Hat And Gloves To Freezing, Crying Little Boy

It’s typically the parents’ job to make sure their child has everything they need for the day when they send them out to wait for the school bus.

But when one amazing bus driver in Washington picked up a little boy on his bus route, he realized the boy was crying in pain because he was sent to wait outside in the frigid weather without any hat or gloves. “The student was crying when he boarded John Lunceford’s bus. Lunceford noticed how red the student’s exposed hands and ears were after he’d waited for the bus in the freezing temperatures that morning,” the Kennewick School District wrote in a post to Facebook.

“I put my gloves on him and told him it’ll be OK, it’ll be OK,” said Lunceford, a U.S. Army veteran who has been driving a school bus for the district for the past three years. After dropping the kids off at school, Lunceford couldn’t get the image of the little boy’s bright red fingers out of his head, and went straight to a nearby dollar store and bought 10 pairs of gloves and 10 hats for the children.

He returned to the school and tracked down the little boy with the school’s help and gifted him his own gloves and hat, and now keeps the rest of the gloves and hats with him for cold students on his bus route that don’t have their own. “I’m a grandfather, you know,” Lunceford said. “No one wants a kid to suffer like that… There was a little girl who said ‘I don’t have a hat,’ and I said I’ll take care of you, sweetie.”

Christmas can be an incredibly stressful time for struggling parents who would desperately love to flood their home with present yet can’t even afford to get a Christmas tree.

And when one Arizona single mom, who was days away from getting evicted, found out that she lost her job, she was devastated that her 4-year-old son wouldn’t get to experience Christmas. “I lost my job,” Kirsten May said. “I lost daycare. I was completely at rock bottom.”

Officers from the Phoenix Police Department found out about May’s situation and knew they had to try and help. Officer Jason Harris, Brian Peters, and Ben Carro started coming up with a plan and reached out to another officer, Manuel Reyes, who works at Home Depot as an off-duty officer. “They brought him in on their plan and asked the manager of the Home Depot at 36th Street and Thomas Road for some help,” the police explained. “Home Depot kindly donated a Christmas tree and a base to give the mother and her son a better Christmas.”

“I cried like a little kid,” May said when the officers brought over the tree. “My son gets to experience what holidays are about thanks to what these officers did and are doing. It shows they don’t just arrest people.” And as if the cops didn’t already go above and beyond, they plan to surround the tree with presents for 4-year-old Nicholas on Christmas, and another group called Angels on Patrol has helped cover this month’s rent for May, who just found a new job and will be able to afford her rent again.
