When a woman named Gina received a call from Coastal German Shepherd Rescue about a “Swimmer Pup” who was going to be euthanized, she rushed to the shelter.
“They asked me to hurry, pick him up, and begin treatment right away,” Gina told Rumble. Upon seeing the adorable dog, Gina’s heart ached, and she took him into him in her arms and got him out of there.
Once they were home, she began calling the adorable little pup “Baby” and explained that he was so quiet and also had the most amazing blue eyes she’d ever seen. She gave “Baby” some food and gave him a warm spot to rest his head.
Once Gina brought Baby to the vet’s office the following morning, she discovered he had Swimmers Syndrome, which is a developmental deformity in young dogs and cats, where their limbs are splayed laterally resulting in an ability to stand or walk.
It was evident why the shelter wanted to euthanize him (although that should never be an option), but he was in good hands now with Gina.
The doctor told Gina she could try her treatments with Baby, although his future was not looking too bright. ” He said that maybe in 3 months he may walk, but chances are he won’t . . . if he survives,” she wrote.
Gina went home and did a series of Acuscope Treatments on Baby to promote nerve conductivity where the nerve signals emerge from between the Vertebrae along the Spine. She also attached plates to treat the back from top to bottom.
Baby started improving more every day and Gina soon wrote, “It really is amazing to witness how fast a little body responds once the nerve and muscle cells are given the help they need to awaken.”
Over the course of his treatment, Gina decided to change his name to Casper, due to his pure white fur and following this video he was adopted by a young woman who is taking excellent care of him.
“I am also invited to visit him when I am in town. It doesn’t get much better than this. Changing a pup’s life forever. Finding him his “forever home” and watching him grow and thrive and become a happy, healthy, loving companion,” said Gina.
