Abandoned Pup Who Was Stung By 1,000 Bees Miraculously Recovers

Animal rescuers want to save every poor creature that comes through their door. Unfortunately, however, there are some cases that are beyond even their help, and the only option left is to put the poor animal out of its misery.

When a shelter discovered a puppy literally covered in bee stings abandoned outside of their front door, they wanted desperately to help, but they had no choice to put him to sleep since they couldn’t treat an animal in his condition.

“An emergency vet clinic called me after speaking with animal control realizing the shelter would have to euthanize as they couldn’t treat a dog in his condition. Not to mention keeping him alive would expose him to many illnesses caused by his condition,” said Carri Shipaila, founder of the Michigan-based rescue center LuvnPupz.

Shipaila wasn’t afraid of tough cases and didn’t hesitate to take the puppy, who she named Stinger, in and give him a chance to recover. “The shelter required me to hold Stinger for 30 days so the owner could have opportunity to claim him and any costs I incurred during that time I could not be reimbursed for. The owners refused to claim him or surrender him to me and I refused to allow him to suffer,” said Shipaila who paid to treated Stinger right away with her own money so he wouldn’t have to wait in pain.

Since then, Stinger has been treated for the bee stings, a secondary skin infection, an allergic reaction from a medication he received before Shipaila got him, and sarcoptic mange. “The trauma from that resulted in Pemphigus, an autoimmune disease, which is lifelong and expensive to treat,” Shipaila said. Because of his medical expenses, he can’t be adopted but has found a loving foster home and will be cared for by LuvnPupz for the rest of his life.

Despite everything Stinger’s been through in his first 14 months of life, his spirit was never crushed. “He’s the epitome of the breed, he’s an amazing loving sweet funny pitbull without a mean bone in his body.”

Heroes Save A Baby Elephant That Was Shot By A Spear

Elephant populations are plummeting around the world and the species faces extinction because of habitat loss, poaching, climate change, and human interaction.

Thankfully, however, groups like the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) are fighting to protect these incredible animals. So when people spotted an injured young bull elephant wandering around with a spear sticking out of his back, the two groups worked together to save him.

Photo by David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

“Luckily his condition was reported to the Kenya Wildlife Service,” the DSWT said about the young male elephant that had been shot by the Maasai tribe after it got too close to their village. “We mobilized our Sky Vet Initiative immediately to ensure the young bull elephant received the timely treatment he so desperately needed.”

Photo by David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

The veterinary team flew to the animal and tranquilized the elephant and successfully removed the metal spear, which was lodged three feet into his skin, and treated the wound. “These are early days, but the vet has given an encouraging prognosis and this young male will continue to be monitored over the next few weeks as he recovers. In the meantime, we hope for the very best for him,” the DSWT said.

Cop Pulls Elderly Woman Out Of Car Before It Burst Into Flames

Police officers have just seconds to come up with a plan and act on it when they arrive at the scene of an emergency. Every first responder knows any hesitation or mistakes can be the difference between life or death…

Thankfully for one Ohio woman and her mother, Wadsworth Police Officer Cody Lamielle didn’t hesitate to act for a second when he spotted a car driving erratically. “Ofc. Lamielle was on routine patrol in his district and spotted the vehicle described. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle at which point the driver indicated she was having mechanical difficulties with her truck,” the Wadsworth Police Department wrote in a statement.

Seconds later, Lamielle noticed smoke coming from under the hood of the car and then a small flame and immediately got to work getting Darlene Richmond and her 88-year-old mother, Helen, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, out of the car. Darlene had no trouble, but Helen can’t walk without assistance and struggled to get out of the car.  That’s when Lamielle heroically ran to her door, picked her up in his arms, and carried her to safety seconds before the car went up in flames.

“Everything goes to him, because if he would have been there, I wouldn’t have been able to do this,” said Darlene. “I’m willing to admit that I can’t always pick her up, I don’t have the strength to pick her up, so he did what he had to do – he never lost his cool.”

“It didn’t surprise me. Cody is a very good young officer, and when I saw it, I was very impressed with how he kept his calm, took the right actions,” Wadsworth Police Chief Randall Reinke said. “It’s what I expected from him, and he did a great job.”

Watch the entire video below to see the amazing moment this cop carried an elderly woman to safety just in time.

When a fire broke out on Friday in the Chernaya Rechka village outside the Siberian city of Tomsk, firefighters were called to the horrifying scene.

This rescue, however, would be different from many others, because the lives that needed saving took the form of 150 tiny piglets.

Credit: Ruptly

Crews lined up, forming a human chain and proceeded to throw the piglets to each other in a conveyor belt style.

Credit: Ruptly

They’re also seen in the rescue video below grabbing piglets by the dozen and carrying them out of a straw-filled barn.

Credit: Ruptly

The pigs looked very happy to be away from the flames and even ran out into the snow afterward.

Credit: Ruptly

According to reports, there were about 200 adult pigs and piglets in the barn at the time and many people on social media are rightfully calling these firefighters heroes.

Credit: Ruptly

Despite the mass rescue, an estimated 50 piglets reportedly didn’t make it out of the fire in time to be saved.

It is unclear what caused this terrible fire, but we are happy that rescuers arrived in time to save the lives of 75% of these helpless pigs and piglets. We hope they were relocated to a safe place…

Freezing Puppy Found Abandoned In Cage On Side Of The Road

A starving, shivering puppy covered with bite marks was found on Sunday morning abandoned in a field on Hambrick Road in Tunica County, Mississippi.

According to Sandy Williams, director of the Tunica Humane Society, from the moment the puppy was pulled out of the cage, it was apparent someone had tried to starve her to death.

Credit: Facebook- Tunica HumaneSociety

The tire marks from the vehicle that dumped her were still fresh and she sat there soaked in the cage from the previous night’s storm.

Credit: Facebook- Tunica HumaneSociety

Williams wrote on the Tunica Humane Society’s Facebook page: “No Words…. Only Tears….If we didn’t live this day in and day out, I would think that these stories are made up. Sadly, they are not. They are real and they are gut-wrenching….”

Credit: Facebook- Tunica HumaneSociety

“Every time I think I have seen it all when it comes to the treatment of these innocent animals, something else so cruel and unbelievable happens, it shatters my heart all over again. Who in the Hell does this…. I am going to do everything in my power to find out. Someone in Tunica County knows something about this…. Someone knows this little dog…”

Credit: Facebook- Tunica HumaneSociety

The shelter named the friendly dog Melanie and she has been melting hearts with her pure innocence. Melanie was moved to her foster home Sunday night, and her temporary owner, Elizabeth Tucker, has been taking great care of her.

Credit: Facebook- Tunica HumaneSociety

The family gave the shelter reassuring words of how they view and treat dogs:

“… In this house, the humans do the bidding of the dogs. If you want ear scratches, all you have to do is crawl into their laps. If you want a nibble of bacon, you just have to look pitiful when the humans are eating. If you feel like bouncing around on the furniture, go for it. Ma just laughs and the sisters will chase you. It’s the best game ever! You’re going to be just fine from now on, little girl…”

Credit: Facebook- Tunica HumaneSociety

We think it is horrific what this tiny dog has had to go through, but we are happy she has temporarily been placed in a loving home and has a second chance at life with a family who loves her.

If anyone has any information on the cruel people who abandoned this puppy, please contact the Tunica Humane Society.

Please SHARE this story with your friends and family on Facebook to help find a permanent home for Melanie.

Puppy Lays In Snow For 12 Hours After She Was Hit By A Car

A 7-month-old puppy was seen walking along the side of a snowy road in Alberta, Canada when she was struck by a car.

The terrible accident broke the poor pup’s pelvis and she tumbled through the snow into a ditch below the street and laid there. The dog was in desperate need of help, but unfortunately, her body heat melted a hole in the snow where she lay.

Credit: Facebook / Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society

This meant that it became extremely difficult for anyone to spot the dog, named Nutmeg, from the road.

Thankfully, a group of observant teenagers noticed the dog and called authorities. When help arrived, it took rescuers hours to find the dog, as she became even more submerged in the snow. Once they finally saw Nutmeg, she began to wag her tail and tried to move toward them.

Credit: Facebook / Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society

They took Nutmeg to an emergency veterinary hospital where doctors were able to set her fractured pelvis and she was given pain medication.

Although Nutmeg was suffering from extreme pain, she never lost her cheerful attitude, and her positivity has helped in her recovery.

Now, Nutmeg is under the care of the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society, and workers are confident that in a few months, she’ll be completely back to normal.

It is then that Nutmeg can go up for adoption, and we hope that a loving family will care for her forever.

Hilarious Mom Is Caught On Baby Monitor Slithering Out Of Nursery

Even though it’s the most rewarding job a person can have, being a parent can definitely have its obstacles. And as you can see in the following video, sometimes in life, a parent will actually have physical obstacles to overcome…

A hilarious video of a mom in South Africa has gone viral online because any parent of little ones can easily relate to. Tyrone Morris of Durban posted the ridiculously all too real clip of his wife Caryn doing her best impression of a Navy SEAL to sneak out of their 15-month-old son Brody’s room while they were hosting a dinner party.

Caryn Morris told Times Live her son sensed that they had friends over and wanted to climb out of his bed. “Every time I walked out the room he would stand up and moan,” she said.

“I decided to sit on the floor next to the cot so he could see me. He then just lay there with his eyes a little bit open. I lay back and noticed he didn’t flinch or move or try and get out the cot,” Caryn explained to ScaryMommy. “I slithered a little bit and he still remained on his side. Before I knew‚ I made it out the door and he hadn’t moved. I was too nervous to go back in the room to see if his eyes were open.”

Her husband, on the other hand, thought the whole incident was pretty hilarious… “The best thing about having cameras in your house is watching your wife trying to exit the room after putting your son down!!,” he wrote on Facebook.

Book Inspires Second Graders To Give Abandoned Dog Life-Saving Surgery

These days, adults can benefit a lot by taking a step back and learning a thing or two from the next generation.

That definitely rings true today for a group of second graders in Topeka, Kansas who are a great example for anyone who has ever seen a dog in need and wished they could help.

Trisha Sharp’s second grade class at Shawnee Heights Elementary was recently reading the book “Sheepdog in the Snow” when they learned about a real rescue dog named Ryker who needed their help.

The poor dog was abandoned with a broken leg, just like the one in the book who is rescued by a little girl. In a post by The Helping Hands Humane Society posted on Facebook, the students learned Ryker needed $400 for surgery and his subsequent care.

That’s when the kids decided to try and raise the money themselves to save the poor pup.

Ms. Sharp told local news ABC 6 she had “Tears and goosebumps a lot of goosebumps, these kids are amazing, a lot of them emptied out there piggy banks at home and just brought us all this money so it’s amazing,” Sharp said.

The kids came back to school with $45o and Ryker was able to have his life-saving surgery the very next day. The children also sent cards to the hospital.

As for Ryker’s post-surgery recovery, Helping Hands wrote  “The staff at Stone House Animal Hospital say he’s a typical puppy…excited about life and full of spirit!”

Please SHARE this amazing story on Facebook if you think more schools should help shelter animals like Ryker!

Little Girl Practices Her Reading Skills By Reading Bedtime Stories To Cows

Just like reading to a young child, reading to an animal can help them to calm down and feel at ease.

For some lucky cows in Berlin, Germany, a little did just that. Under her parents’ supervision, she was placed in the enclosure with the rescued cows at Hof Butenland farm sanctuary and she read bedtime stories to them.

Credit: YouTube- StiftungHofButenland

The two cows in the video below were spared from abusive and neglectful situations, along with all the other cows at the sanctuary. Every animal there gets to enjoy the Hof Butenland farm sanctuary as their forever home, and there can get to live the rest of their lives out in peace.

The sanctuary allows all visitors to practice their listening and literary skills with the cows, and all people- young and old, are welcome.

Credit: YouTube- StiftungHofButenland

While reading to the cows, the cows benefit from the close, yet gentle contact with humans and the humans benefit by getting to practice their reading.

In this particular video from Hof Butenland farm sanctuary, a young German girl reads to two cows, who seem to be more preoccupied with her teddy bear than with the book.

What’s truly impressive about the video is despite her young age and tiny size, the girl seems to be completely unbothered by the large and inquisitive cows.

Dog Found After Family Dumped Him Outside Airport

Owning a pet is a full-time responsibility since they depend on their owners to survive, which is why animal lovers around the world have been left outraged after hearing what a Russian couple did to their dog when it interfered with travel plans.

Recently, a Russian couple went on a trip to Germany to visit their kids, who had been living with their grandmother in Hamburg. The couple planned on bringing their small dog, Tori, with them on the trip, however, when they got to the check-in counter at the airport, they found out they didn’t have the necessary paperwork to bring a pet on the flight.

Rather than delay their flight or call a friend to look after the dog, the couple brought Tori outside and left her in the snow in her zip-up dog carrier. Once back at the check-in counter, they claimed a friend had taken her and continued on their vacation.

When they arrived in Germany, the couple’s children was distraught when they heard about their beloved dog, and the couple reached out online three days later for volunteers to look for Tori. “We are looking for our little dog; she is white with a flick of ginger. Our children can’t stop crying, please can you help? We’re ready to pay a fine,” she wrote.

Unfortunately, the tiny dog didn’t stand a chance in the –22-degree weather, and by the time rescuers found her, she had passed away. “If only we knew about the problem, at least the dog would be alive. The weather was so cold on those days,” said Dmitry Tyukhtin, a spokesman for Koltsovo airport. “Tori was left in an area where there are usually no people. If she was to be left closer to or inside the terminal, the dog would have been rescued.”

The tragic story has since gone viral and animal lovers around the world are signing a petition demanding that the couple be ‘punished’ and ‘jailed’ for their cruelty and carelessness.

Stranger Gives Mom $1,000 To Help Fix Infant’s Severe Cleft Lip

When a 26-year-old Nebraska mom was 24 weeks pregnant with her first baby, doctors discovered that her unborn baby had a bilateral cleft lip and palate.

However, Sarah Heller and her husband Chris Eidam, 30, loved their son no matter what and continued with the pregnancy since he was an otherwise healthy baby. As baby Brody grew, Sara and Chris could finally start to see his unique smile more clearly and fell in love with it.

Instead of hiding his condition, they decided to share as many pictures as possible to help educate people about cleft lips and palates. “It is OK to be proud of your baby no matter the circumstances,” Sara said. “We wanted to change what ultrasound/newborn/first-year pictures on our Facebook/Instagram accounts looked like. We wanted to spread awareness of cleft lips and palates.”

Most people congratulated the new parents on their beautiful baby boy, however, Sara couldn’t help but feel devastated when someone on Instagram asked ‘What’s wrong with his face?’ in a comment. “I wasn’t prepared to defend my 3-month-old and why he looks ‘different’ from other babies. I decided to educate rather than create a confrontation because that is what I want Brody to do in the future,” she said. “I will want him to educate, to be an advocate for younger cleft kids who don’t have their own voice yet.”

However, just a few hours later, Sara’s devastation disappeared when she went out to dinner with Brody and friends. While eating dinner, the waiter handed Sara a folded napkin, which she assumed had a note inside. Yet when she opened it, she found a check for $1,000 with a note in the memo line that read ‘For the beautiful baby.’

“Tears fell from my eyes immediately and the happiness my heart felt is indescribable,” Sara said about the moment she saw the check, which has helped pay for some of Brody’s medical bills since he’s undergone lip surgery to fix his cleft lip. “The generosity of a complete stranger restored our faith in humanity,” Sara said. “Being Brody’s parent has taught me that people care. Strangers all over the country want to hear his story, and they want to pray for him.”

Rescuers Find Puppies Who Were Buried In Deadly Avalanche

After a powerful avalanche hit the Rigopiano Hotel in Italy and buried the entire resort last week, rescue workers have been working around the clock to locate and hopefully rescue nearly two dozen people that have been buried in the snow.

For the past five days, the rescue crews have worked tirelessly to save any survivors, yet so far seven people have been confirmed dead and another 22 remain missing. However, this past Monday, the rescuers’ hope was renewed after they discovered three small puppies alive.

Photo by Facebook/VIGILI DEL FUOCO DI TUTTA ITALIA

The animals were found deep inside the rubble and had been trapped in what was the hotel’s boiler room for five days without food. According to one firefighter, the adorable puppies were ‘a little ray of sunshine,’ to the rescue teams who were beginning to doubt that they’d find anyone alive.

Photo by Facebook/VIGILI DEL FUOCO DI TUTTA ITALIA

The puppies were then taken to be examined and thankfully all were completely healthy and are set to be reunited with their parents, Nuvola and Lupo, who had been swept away in the avalanche but miraculously survived and were found in a nearby town.

Photo by Facebook/VIGILI DEL FUOCO DI TUTTA ITALIA

While there are still so many people and possibly more puppies missing, the rescue teams are hoping that other rooms were not filled entirely with snow like the room the puppies were found in, which would mean there could be pockets of air for survivors to breathe.

Watch the entire video below to see the heartwarming moment these brave rescuers found three puppies that had been buried in a deadly avalanche for days.

Can you believe these tiny puppies managed to survive such a dangerous avalanche? Let us know what you think in the comments below and please SHARE this with friends on Facebook.

Quick-Thinking Cop Saves Woman Trapped In A Burning Car

To unlock a door in most cars, all you have to do if press a button. However, one Washington woman learned how dangerous electronic locking systems can be when she got trapped inside her burning car.

Just before 10 p.m. this past Friday night, the woman was driving her car when it suddenly died. She couldn’t figure what went wrong until she started seeing smoke and flames coming from under the hood of the car. However, because the fire destroyed the battery, the car was dead and the doors wouldn’t unlock without any power.

The woman immediately called 911, and Spokane Police Officer Tim Schwering responded to the call and was the first to arrive on the scene. Schwering managed to break a small hole in the window with his baton and planned to unlock the door from the inside.

Yet he soon realized the door wouldn’t unlock since the car was dead and was forced to break the rest of the window open and pull the woman out just in time. Thankfully, the woman managed to walk away from the deadly situation unharmed because of Schwering’s quick-thinking.

The brave officer’s actions have quickly gone viral, but many people were shocked to realize that many modern cars can’t be unlocked without a functioning battery “Holy cow. Not able to unlock the door because she has no power? No thank you! Kinda makes me want to go back to manual windows and locks,” one viewer commented. “I am grateful for hearing about this. It forced me to look into how the doors on my car function without battery power,” another wrote.

Woman Rescues Baby Possum Seconds Before Snake Ate Him

Australia’s native animals are known for being dangerous and unforgiving. However, one Australian couple couldn’t help but intervene when they saw a snake was about to kill a tiny baby possum.

The couple had been out on a walk in Queensland and couldn’t help but stop and watch nature in action when they saw a snake eating an adult possum earlier this month. But as they watched, they noticed the possum’s pouch suddenly relaxed and a tiny baby possum fell out.

They couldn’t help but feel bad for the orphaned baby about to become the snake’s dessert, and quickly scooped him up, wrapped him up in a towel, and called rescuers from Wildcare Australia. “It’s horrible, it’s fascinating, but it’s nature,” Cathy Cope, a rescuer from Wildcare Australia, said about the baby who they named Georgie. “As mum died, her muscles relaxed, and out popped Georgie.”

Once rescuers arrived, baby Georgie was rushed to a nearby zoo to be examined. Thankfully, the snake hadn’t had a chance to do much harm to him. “Nothing was broken, just one puncture wound to his chest”, Cope said. Georgie has been treated with a round of antibiotics and has since grown from 210g to 283g.  For now, Georgie’s home is a fake pouch, but once he weighs about 2.5 pounds, the team plans to release him back into the wild.

92 Yorkies Rescued From Extreme Hoarding Situation

On Friday, the San Diego Humane Society rescued 92 Yorkies and Yorkie-mixed breed dogs who were living in unsanitary conditions at a hoarder’s home.

According to Stephen MacKinnon, Chief of Humane Law Enforcement for the society, The owners of these dogs are an elderly couple who reached out to us for help. We see this type of situation all too often when well-intentioned people get in over their heads.”

Credit: San Diego Humane Society

According to the Humane Society’s social media release, the Special Response Team rushed to the location when they heard about the Yorkies and transported them to the San Diego campus where veterinarians can examine them and provide them the necessary medical attention.

Over the weekend, veterinarians and animal care teams examined the rescued pups and had to shave some of the dog’s coats due to heavy matting and tangles.

Credit: San Diego Humane Society

Other Yorkies needed treatment for wounds and other ailments. “We always dread seeing a situation like this. It’s tragic for the animals and often for the people involved. But when this happens, our first response is always for the animals,” said Dr. Gary Weitzman, President and CEO for the San Diego Humane Society.

Veterinarians with the Humane Society estimate the dogs will need a few weeks before they are ready for adoption and says the dogs will become available in mid to late February.

At this time, the San Diego Humane Society reveals they are not keeping a waiting list, and dogs will become available on a first come, first serve basis.

Devastated Dog Knew His Family Was Surrendering Him At The Shelter

Meet Moses, a pit bull terrier who was adopted one year ago from the Stanislaus Animal Services Agency in Modesto, California.

Nancy Klein, an animal advocate and volunteer at the shelter wrote that Moses was one of the sweetest dogs she had ever met. She wanted to take Moses home with her herself, as he curled up on her lap without seconds of meeting him.

However, Moses was adopted into a family and has since lived with children, dogs, and cats. But two days ago, (one year after he was adopted) Moses’ owner brought him back to the shelter to surrender him.

Credit: Nancy Klein/Facebook

Nancy described how Moses knew he was being given away when he came back to the shelter. “It’s like he ‘knew’ the way he clung to his owner,” stated Nancy. “I had to catch my breath. As I asked why he (the owner) said they had to move and he wasn’t allowed. I took out my phone and well …you can see for yourself.”

“My heart literally sank,” Nancy continued. “He wanted to meet everyone there, including the boy and his mom who were in the lobby. It took everything in me not to just take him home.”

Watch the video below:

The shelter wrote on their Facebook: “My name is Moses, and I am a neutered male, white and brown pit bull terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 4-years-old. I have been at the shelter since Jan 21, 2017. I am available for adoption or rescue on Jan 21, 2017.” For more information about this dog, call the Stanislaus Animal Shelter Agency at 209.558.7387. Ask for information about animal ID#A436891.”

We think moving is a poor excuse to surrender an animal. If you take on the responsibility of a pet, you should consider them when moving and making living arrangements accordingly. Sadly, this does not change what Moses’ owner did.

Someone, please adopt this beautiful angel!

We’re big fans of amazing animal rescues here at LifeDaily and we know well that no two go exactly the same way…

Whether our heroes are rushing to save a group of puppies like in this touching story or a gigantic elephant who is on the brink of drowning, every animal rescue has one thing in common – the animal needs to somehow go against their natural instincts and trust the humans who’ve come to help them.

As you can see in this incredible rescue of a deer trapped on an icy lake, anyone can call animal control for a lost baby in their backyard, but it takes a very brave person to help certain kinds of animal.

In the following video from MrJasonOldfield on YouTube, we see how one man became one of these “everyday heroes” when he heard the cries of an animal caught upside down in the fence. The clip shows one man behind the camera while a brave rescuer got up close and personal with a wild wolf, an animal who can be very territorial and ferocious towards humans.

He took his chances with the dangerous beast, who seemed more like a baby crying for help at the time and was rewarded when the gentle giant peacefully moved on his way.

What would you have done if you saw this animal in desperate need of help?

Please SHARE this story on Facebook if you love amazing rescues like this one!

Much like this adorable baby elephant who loves to give hugs, the elephant herd in the following video have very special relationships with the humans who care for them.

The following video was filmed at Elephant Nature Park, a sanctuary and rescue center for animals in Chiang Mai Province, Northern Thailand, an area where elephants are often abused, enslaved, and exploited by humans. In the clip, we see one of the animal’s caretakers going for a swim in the body of water while some of the gentle giants watched from the river bank.

What happens next couldn’t have been more precious. One of the younger baby elephants decided that the caretaker looked like he was in distress and went into the water to start swimming after him.

After all these intelligent, magnificent creatures have been through in life, it’s so incredible that they have not only learned to trust humans again but care for them too!

Did you know that there are so many homeless, abandoned dogs living in the United States that it is impossible to even count them?

To say strays in the U.S. are a problem would be an understatement. Between the number of dogs on the street or in the wild and overcrowded, unsanitary high-kill shelters, our country has a true epidemic on its hands, especially in places like Detroit, Michigan, where outdoor dogs often can’t survive in the freezing cold winters.

Thankfully, there are a ton of dedicated animal angels out there, committed to helping get every single one of these creatures out from the cold and into the homes of loving families.

At the non-profit canine rescue organization Hope For Paws, Eldad Hagar and his team of heroes travel around the Los Angeles County area, a place where sick strays run rampant, rescuing all the dogs they can.

In the following Hope For Paws clip, we see how founder Eldad Hagar and his team of heroes have their work cut out from them with Cadence, a poor pit bull who was rescued after spending her life as a bait dog for evil dogfighters.

It’s incredible that this dog survived all she did and managed to escape, but what happened to her next is truly a miracle!

When expectant parents Laurilin Celadilla Marte, both 24, and Marino Camacho went to the hospital for their scheduled c-section, they knew they would be having twins. They didn’t, however, know those twins were conjoined…

“In that moment when the doctor had them in his hands, he said, ‘Blessed be God, they are Siamese twins,” said Laurilin. “I said, ‘well, God, they are yours.'” Despite the surprise, the parents instantly fell in love with their beautiful babies and were petrified to hear that the smaller baby, Ballenie, had a congenital heart defect that threatened both twins.
