Incredible rescue, Animal Aid Unlimited, has proven time and time again they will stop at nothing to help animals in dire situations.

A couple of weeks ago, they received a call in India about a street dog injured by the side of the road. When they arrived at the scene, the dog laid there unable to move and it was apparent he was near his death.

Unable to watch this dog die, Animal Aid lifted the lifeless canine up and brought him to their rescue. It was there that they saw the dog’s head had been eaten away by maggots, and they had to act fast.

Rescuers applied medicine to kill the hundreds of maggots that were affecting his skin, and after a couple of hours, all of the maggots had died.

The dog was sedated, his wounds were cleaned, and by day three, the lifeless dog was getting stronger. Rescuers were then able to begin his treatment for mange and he would then be was on his way to a full recovery.

When they found this helpless dog on the side of the road, crews knew he had a lot more living to do and they wanted to give him that chance.

Staff named him Major Sahib, and with his adorably deformed lip from an old injury, he’s one of the cutest dogs at the rescue.

We are grateful to Animal Aid for saving this sweet baby and we’re excited for his second chance at life.

Dog With Adorably Deformed Lip Gets The Help He Never Thought Was Coming is an article from: LifeDaily

Dogs are extremely determined animals, and as most dog owners know, when they set their mind on something, they’ll stop at nothing to get it.

Normally, it’s not a problem, but when one red tick coonhound spotted a raccoon while on a night hunting trip, she got herself into some serious trouble. The five-year-old dog named Penny had been out with her owner on Saturday night and ended up trapped after chasing the wild animal into a small drainage pipe.

Penny’s owner immediately started searching for the dog after she ran off, and finally found her after hearing her crying from inside the collapsed pipe. The family tried to coax her out for hours, but when they realized how stuck she was, they called a rescue team.

Since it was already around midnight and Penny didn’t seem to be injured, the team waited until daylight the next morning to start the rescue, but even their initial efforts to free Penny all failed. “We tried pushing the dog backwards, and that didn’t work. We tried to pull her out backwards,” said Kevin “Bucky” Ayers, captain of the mission. “Every time we would get the rope around her leg, it would slip off.”

Penny’s owner, Stacy Rickers, decided to get his mini excavator to dig part of the pipe out.“He got it and dug one section of the pipe out so we could get closer to the dog. I tried to crawl in, but I was too big,” Ayers said. The pipe was way too small for an adult to squeeze into, but thankfully Doyle “Bubby” Carter and his little sister Kailee Carter, Rickers’ fiance’s kids, were happy to help free their beloved dog.

The kids managed to crawl inside and tie a rope around Penny, and the rescue team was finally able to pull her free after the 15-hour rescue. “She drank about a half gallon of water and got a sausage biscuit when she got out,” the kid’s mom Casey Carter said. “I was amazed at the rescue squad and I’m proud of the kids. That’s something they will remember for the rest of their lives. The kids were our only option, and they were all for it.”

Kids Crawl Into Drain Pipe To Rescue Dog Trapped Inside is an article from: LifeDaily

Soldiers see and do things that no one should have to during times of war. However, for the ones that make it home safely, sometimes the hardest part is fitting back into civilian life.

“When you go to war you see all these horrible things,” said 30-year-old Ryan, who served two tours in Afghanistan. “Then your whole idea of humanity is clouded. It didn’t really hit me until I got out of the army.”

The Australian spent nine months in Afghanistan on his first tour serving in the second combat engineer regiment before returning to Australia in 2010. Then in 2013, he was sent back to the Middle East for another five months to search for IEDs and weapons.

During his time home, he met his six-year-old wolfhound mix named Yogi. He was just a normal dog but has become his literal lifesaver as he struggles with PSTD since teaching him how to be a service dog. “If my brain’s going to flip out with TBI [traumatic brain injury] stuff where I like break down and get lost and don’t know where I am, I can tell Yogi to take me outside or to the car or a safe place,” he said.

“You can’t teach a dog to have sense but you can teach them what to do when they notice you have a reaction to something. The dog can detect when someone’s about to have a fit and get them to lie down.”

Dog Bit Soldier To Stop Him From Killing Himself is an article from: LifeDaily

Many people claim to be dog lovers, but very few would selflessly throw themselves in harm’s way in order to save someone else’s four-legged companion.

Yet when one Florida man realized his friend’s dog, who he had been dog-sitting, was about to be eaten by an alligator in a golf course lake, he didn’t hesitate to jump in the murky, alligator-infested water and pull the dog to safety.

Donald C. Copps had been watching his friend’s dog named Carbon while he was away on vacation, and had brought Carbon to a local golf course in his Naples community to chase around some golf balls. After exhausting himself, Carbon decided to jump into a lake to cool off.

The black Labrador didn’t realize their were alligators in the water, and as he was swimming back towards the shore, a 7-foot alligator was trailing closely behind. Copps realized what was about to happen, and bravely jumped in the water as the alligator bit down on Carbon’s leg to try and distract the animal.

“By the time I gathered my senses, the dog was out of the water and I’m in it up to my chest, just feet from the gator,” Copps said. “He was crying, yelping.” Thankfully, Copps managed to slowly back out of the water unharmed and Carbon only had a few scratches and puncture wounds. “I put him on a golf cart, went home to change my wet clothes and took him to an ER. He was spooked. We all were.”

“The dog was really lucky,” said Dr. Lon Miyahira, the veterinarian who treated Carbon. “When I hear alligator bite or attack, I expect worse. It’s hard to recommend jumping into the water, but it’s probably why the dog was not badly injured… For whatever reason, alligators seem to have a fondness for dogs and will go after them,” Miyahira said.

“I think most people would freeze,” said Yuliya Vail, who was with Copps at the golf course that day. “He jumped in. I thought it was heroic of him. That gator could’ve drowned Carbon. We could have watched him die.”

Hero Saved Dog Being Attacked By A 7-Foot Alligator is an article from: LifeDaily

Mothers are supposed to do everything in their power to keep their child out of harm’s way, not throw them in it.

Yet when one cruel Russian mom abandoned her helpless 2-year-old son on the unheated porch of their home without anything to keep him warm and dressed only in light clothing, a heroic dog stepped up to protect him and keep him alive.

For two days, the little boy helplessly waited for his mother to come back and endured freezing temperatures ranging from around 10 degrees in the daytime and dipping to about -5 degrees at night.

The two-year-old had no food or water, and only survived because of the hero dog, who cuddled with the little boy to keep him warm enough until help arrived. Thankfully, neighbors discovered the pair before it was too late on the second day.

The toddler was rushed to the hospital because he was suffering from acute hypothermia but is expected to make a full recovery since he is responding well to treatment. And the mother, who returned to the home four days later, is now facing a jail sentence for deliberately abandoning her child.

Hero Dog Saved Abandoned 2-Year-Old By Keeping Him Warm is an article from: LifeDaily

Dogs are living, breathing creatures, but unfortunately, many irresponsible breeders see our loyal companions as a way to make a profit.

So when a local Oregon breeder struggled to sell a puppy born with an unusual face, he cruelly abandoned him and one of his brothers since they were unsellable. “These young brothers were dumped at an overcrowded shelter after their breeder could not find anyone to buy them,” said Luvable Dog Rescue, an organization dedicated to rehabilitating and rehoming small breeds that were going to be euthanized.

“Luvable agreed to take the boy with the crooked face first and then we learned he had a brother who was also abandoned. We couldn’t leave the brother behind so we said we would take him too!!! So both boys just arrived,” the team explained.

“Picasso is the guy on the right with the cutest lil lopsided face you ever did see? As far as we know, he was born that way, but we’ll hopefully know more once he has visited the vet. Pablo is on the left, and is the biggest sweetheart in the world. I know these handsome boys will find homes super fast,” rescuers said about Pablo and Picasso.

Aside from Picasso’s birth defect, the two brothers appear to be perfectly healthy, and the rescue hopes to find them a new, loving home with someone who appreciates Picasso’s unique features in about two weeks.

Breeder Abandons Puppy Because His Face Is ‘Unsellable’ is an article from: LifeDaily

The last time Warren Muldoon saw his dog Dakota was when she stood sopping wet, watching him being rescued from a mountain ledge by helicopter. 

Muldoon, 62, was hiking on Mount Baldy with his German Shepherd mix when a series of falls separated him from his dog. Hikers stumbled upon Muldoon hours later and managed to contact rescuers, although neither them or authorities could reach Dakota where she was stuck on a ledge.

Muldoon was rushed out of there as his body temperature dropped and he risks getting hypothermia. Dakota was sadly left behind. He suffered serious injuries- a broken leg, five broken ribs, and a punctured lung. 

He explained to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin: “I could see Dakota just standing there looking at me. It just broke my heart to leave her.” 

3-year-old Dakota wasn’t just any family pet. Muldoon’s son James died in a motorcycle crash last year, but before he passed, James asked his parents to look after Dakota if anything ever happened to him. 

When Muldoon’s wife, Connie, visited her husband in the hospital and learned what happened to Dakota, she posted about the dog on Facebook.

By the next day, a group of hikers had seen the post and took it upon themselves to search for Dakota on the mountain. It took time, effort, and dedicated searching, but the group finally located Dakota stuck on a ledge near some waterfalls. 

They lured her in with a salami and were able to tie her up and bring her safely off the mountain.

Muldoon’s injuries prevented him from being immediately reunited with Dakota, but when he was, it was a beautiful and emotional day.

In the video below, as soon as Dakota spotted Muldoon in his wheelchair, she ran up to him, wagging her tail like crazy. She jumped up and sniffed and licked the cast on Muldoon’s leg. 

Muldoon says that after the ordeal he isn’t planning to go hiking with Dakota again. “I truly don’t know how I’d live the rest of my life if she died up there,” he said. He is eternally grateful for the hikers for risking their lives to save his dog.

Man Is Reunited With His Dog After Being Separated Due To A Terrible Accident is an article from: LifeDaily

After Melissa Richman had endured a three hour C-section at Valley Hospital, a nurse brought a baby in for her to breastfeed, only for Richman to find out it wasn’t her child. 

According to CBS2, 20 minutes later, a nurse came to take the baby away and revealed the terrible mistake. Richmond recalled the nurse saying, “‘I need you to give me the baby right now.’ She said, ‘There has been a terrible mistake. This isn’t your baby.’ I started going back and thinking, ‘Did I feed her the first time? Is this even my baby? How does something like this even happen?’”

Richman said she had called for her newborn to be brought to her around 4:30 am and she was given the wrong baby because a common safety protocol was ignored. No one checked the hospital-issued wristbands. 

When Richman’s daughter Scarlett was finally brought to her to feed, it wasn’t the happy moment she had expected. “She was frustrated and upset because there was really nothing left for her. I had just nursed this other baby for 20 minutes[,] so I was probably totally depleted,” Richman told CBS 2. 

She continued saying how upset she was with the way the baby was handled. “They immediately put [my daughter] right on me, and they didn’t clean me off, so I started worrying about the saliva and stuff from the other baby.” Richman then had to go through a string of tests to make sure no infections had been passed on from her to the other baby. 

Richman and her husband, David are now suing Valley Hospital for the mix-up, which occurred this past September. David told CBS 2, “The hospital failed to be accountable, made us feel horrible like it was our fault that something happened.”

The couple felt it was important for the situation to be addressed, so it doesn’t happen to anyone else: “If a mistake like this goes under the table and people don’t talk about it, it could happen again, and again, and again,” she said.

Mom Sues Hospital After They Gave Her The Wrong Baby To Breastfeed is an article from: LifeDaily

Todd Krieg and Amanda Diesen had two life-changing events to share with their friends and family. They just got engaged and announced a pregnancy on the same day!

Amanda, who is a former therapist at a paralysis recovery center, met Todd in California in October 2015 after a bike crash ended his motocross career and paralyzed him from the chest down.

He was brought into the center for his recovery, and there the two fell for each other during his time there. Once Todd finally admitted his feelings for his “cute therapist,” the rest was history, according to Popsugar.

Todd returned back to his home in Ohio and Amanda moved across the country to be with him. While the couple has faced numerous struggles, an adorable Reddit post revealed that despite the odds, they’re expecting a baby.

“Doctors had said it would be nearly impossible to conceive naturally due to Todd’s injury, but here we are, 14 weeks pregnant,” Amanda told Brides.com.

The heartwarming Reddit post features Amanda holding a sonogram photo and Todd, with his tongue out, thumb out, and the words “It still works!”

I hear Reddit likes seeing paraplegics defy the odds…

Couple Who Thought They Could Never Have Kids Surprise Everyone With Adorable Announcement is an article from: LifeDaily

Edith Steiner just celebrated Valentine’s Day with the soldier who helped save her when she was just 20 years old… more than seven decades ago!

Steiner, from Hungary, was among many Jewish prisoners that were rescued by soldiers from their Nazi guards as they were being marched from Auschwitz to another camp.

Her future husband, John Mackay, then 23, was among the soldiers that rescued the group, according to Deadline News. 

Mackay was in the London Scottish 1st Battalion and actually escaped himself from an Italian prisoner of war camp years earlier. Edith and John wound up meeting properly at a village hall that was organized to celebrate the liberation, and they’ve been together ever since. 

In 1946, they married, moved to Scotland, and had two children together, Sharon and Peter. 

Edith, now 92, and John, 96, live in a care home together in Dundee and they have just celebrated their 71st Valentine’s Day together by having a party. 

Pamela Shaw, the activity coordinator at Bupa Calcarres Care Home, says, “John is a true gentleman. He is always checking in to make sure Edi (Edith) is happy, and the pair still refers to each other as ‘sweetheart’ on a daily basis. Their devotion to one another is clear to anyone who spends even a short time in their company.” 

Their advice to young couples is to be romantic all year round- not just on February 14. “We’re having a little party for all our residents this Valentine’s Day, so it’s lovely to have such a real example of true love with us at the home,” Shaw said.

Woman Celebrates Valentine’s Day With The Soldier Who Rescued Her During War is an article from: LifeDaily

A California woman had a lot of explaining to do to her husband when she accidentally donated a shirt concealing his secret cash stash of $8,000 to Goodwill charities.

Bob Hoffman, 62, had been saving up the money for years in secret to take his wife, Linda, 68, on her dream vacation to Italy. “My plan was to save $10,000,” Hoffman told the Orange County Register. “Then one day I was going to walk up to her and say, ‘We don’t have to wish anymore.’”

Bob decided to put the vacation plans on hold recently when a relative fell on hard times and was about to be evicted with their children, so he took the money out of the bank and planned to give it to his relative.

When Bob discovered the shirt and hidden envelope went missing, he told his wife the story and they immediately rushed to Goodwill. 

“Bob is an extremely strong human being,” Linda Hoffman said. “I don’t want to hurt his male ego … but he was crying. I haven’t seen him that distraught since his parents died.”

The couple did not find the shirt that day at Goodwill, but the following morning they received a call bearing good news. A Goodwill employee named Caitlin Mulvihill had found the dress shirt with the envelope still inside in a pile of clothes. 

“I describe it as a miracle,” Linda Hoffman told KABC-TV. “I would say that it was honest people and what touched our hearts the most is how honest they were.”

Thankfully, Bob recently learned his relative no longer needs the money, so the funds will go back to their original purpose: Taking his wife to Italy.

Wife Accidentally Donates Husband’s Secret $8,000 Cash Stash To Goodwill is an article from: LifeDaily

While picking up students one morning before school, one Tennessee bus driver watched from the road as a mother struggled to get her daughter in a wheelchair out of the house and down the narrow cement stairs.

The substitute bus driver named Mitchell couldn’t bare the idea that the mom, Verna DeSpain, and her 10-year-old daughter had to do through so much trouble every single time the went out or came home, and knew immediately he had to do something to help. “I knew there was a need,” Mitchell said. “As soon as I saw it, I knew.”

Mitchell came up with a plan to build the mom a new ramp for her daughter, and called DeSpain to ask if she would allow him to help. “I guess it just really struck a chord with him,” DeSpain said. “He saw how hard I struggled. I was amazed.”

With her blessing, Mitchell got four co-workers to help and reached out to his local Lowe’s to see if they would donate the materials, and they thankfully agreed. Finally, Mitchell and his helpers arrived at the single mom’s house last month and got to work.

Three hours later, the ramp and a new small porch was built and DeSpain was stunned when she saw what they had done for her and her daughter, who was born with a rare seizure disorder that affected her mental and physical development. “You could just tell by her face. She was just smiling from ear to ear,” Mitchell said. “She was very happy and excited. She loves me to push her down it every single day,” DeSpain said. “I don’t think he had any idea how much we needed it and how much it has helped.”

When most people retire, they spent most of their time doing their favorite leisurely activities and relaxing after decades in the workforce.

When one New Jersey native retired after working as a fireman for 30 years, he thought he would spend his time playing golf and fishing. However, he quickly realized he wasn’t ready to give up helping people. “When I retired and came down here, I said I was going to give up firefighting. That was my end,” said Hobart Erickson. “I was going to fish and play golf.”

Soon after moving to the Carolinas for his retirement, Erickson came out of retirement and got back to work saving lives at the Donalds station. It’s been 30 years since he came out of retirement and Erickson has no plans of stopping anytime soon. “I’ve answered quite a few calls!” Erickson joked. “I’ve been president of the organization, and president right now. I’m on the board of trustees, board of directors, I’m the fire inspector in town… The main thing is brotherly love,” Hobie said. “It’s an organization, friendship. We do what we can for the community.”

“He averages 70 calls a year and for a man that is 90-years-old, that’s what you call dedication. He inspires me to be the best that I can be, he’s taught me a lot and as far as being a fire chief and a human being,” Donalds Fire Chief Ronnie Vaughn said. “If anyone had to say a hero, to me, that’s what you call a hero. The man is 90-years-old, over 60 years in firefighting whose helped people his whole life. You can’t ask for anything better than that.”

“I certainly feel you have to give something to the community,” said Erickson. “I have a good wife that takes care of me and she pushes me to do things. She takes good care of me and I thank the Lord every day for everything I got. I’ve been well blessed at 90-years-old.”

90-Year-Old Fireman Still Fighting Fires After 60 Years On The Job is an article from: LifeDaily

No one expects to be called a hero after a trip to the mall, but witnesses are calling one alert St. Louis, MO shopper a hero after he noticed a dangerous situation and jumped to action.

Mark Maloy was shopping at the South County Center this past month when he spotted a young girl about to be seriously injured. The teen and her friend were playing on one of the escalators by grabbing the outside of the moving handle and holding on for a few seconds before jumping down.

One of the girls hung on to the rail too long and panicked when she realized how far off the ground she was. By the time she got to the top, she was screaming and was forced to let go when her body hit the railing beside the escalator.

Thankfully, Maloy was there when it happened and didn’t hesitate to catch the girl, who was falling head-first to the ground. Maloy ended up with extremely sore ribs, shoulder, and leg but said he would do it all over again since the girl easily could have broken her neck from the 20-foot fall.

Hero Catches Girl Who Fell 20 Feet Off Mall Escalator is an article from: LifeDaily

People form incredible bonds with their service animals since they rely on them to guide them, notify them before a medical emergency, or even calm their owner down during a panic attack.

A local South Carolina firefighter had an amazing bond with his service dog named Rudy, but knew there were others who needed help more than he did and decided to donate Rudy to Canine Angels Service Dogs, an organization that trains service dogs for veterans and first responders with PTSD, illness, or even loneliness.

Soon after the organization took in Rudy, firefighter James Gidden reached out to find a service dog since he had been diagnosed with PTSD a few months before and was struggling to cope. His doctors prescribed him medications, but they weren’t working.

“I don’t want to mask the symptoms. I don’t want to mask the outbreaks. I want to make sure that I get healed some way, and I feel like with this dog, I’m not going to be 100% but my life can get normal and I can get off those medicines,” Gidden said.

Firefighter Donates Service Dog To First Responder With PTSD is an article from: LifeDaily

Rescue animals are often incredibly loyal and protective of the people who rescued them from a deadly situation and gave them a second chance.

So when a teenager broke into one Idaho man’s house, he was greeted by the man’s pet squirrel, who didn’t recognize the intruder and started to attack the young man when he started going through his owner’s things without him home.

Adam Pearl’s friends found the baby squirrel, named Joey, six months ago abandoned in the garden. “Some friends of ours found him in a flower bed. They didn’t know how to take care of him so they gave him to us,” Pearl said. “We got him before his eyes were open, and bottle fed him. Now he just runs the house.”

For the past six months, Joey has grown stronger and formed an incredibly strong bond with his rescuer, however, Pearl never imagined Joey would fight off a burglar to keep his home safe. “Joey attacked him and he didn’t want any more of that. So, who knows what he could have gotten away with?” Pearl said. “I have had dogs in the past, and I really don’t think they would have protected the house the way Joey did.”

“Joey is a part of the family. I think if you open your heart, you can find family in all shapes and sizes. We take care of each other. I’m just lucky he entered our life and likes it here,” Pearl said about Joey, who not only chased away the burglar but also helped solve the case since police were able to identify the thief since he was left with scratches and small bite marks all over his arms and hands.

Hope For Paws, a rescue organization in Los Angeles, received a text about a three-legged dog who was homeless and living on the streets for five months. 

The female dog had been living in front of someone’s house and no one knew who she belonged to…

Rescuers immediately went to find the dog and found her sleeping on a shoebox in the rain, just waiting for someone to help her. 

The tiny, wide-eyed dog watched as rescuers approached her, and while it was clear she was scared, she didn’t try to run. 

She probably felt so defeated and knew that she needed help. Loreta Frankonyte put a leash around the dog’s neck and the poor pup didn’t resist at all. 

They noticed that the dog was missing a leg, but they are unsure of how it happened. 

After speaking to the homeowner, they learned the dog was sleeping on the wet shoebox for about two weeks, and the man had been feeding her ever since. 

They quickly took the dog into the car and Loreta named her Princess-promising her she would be treated like royalty going forward. 

After she was cleaned up at the vet and given a bath, Princess was given a warm place to rest for the first time in months. 

It turns out that Princess was very sick from severe anemia and she needed immediate medical attention and care. 

Luckily, Hope For Paws found her when they did, because if not, she wouldn’t have made it. 

Princess has been recovering and she is a very subdued dog with a pleasant demeanor. Her favorite thing is being held and cuddled by someone who cares about her.

When one expecting Australian couple went to the doctor for routine scans and a check up, they couldn’t wait to find out more about their baby.

Tragically, the information they did find out left them devastated. When expecting mom Thembe Moyo was 21 weeks pregnant, doctors discovered her baby boy was suffering from a condition called nasal encephalocele, which made his brain grow outside the skull because of a hole in between his eyes.

“It was confronting. We were scared. We were shattered. Lots of tears,” dad Sipho Moyo said. “In their words, he wasn’t going to be human. He wasn’t going to be a human being.”

Doctors told the couple to terminate the pregnancy, but they quickly refused. When baby Jayden was finally born, his skull was inside a large growth that stuck out from his skull as doctors said it would, but a week after his birth, 10 specialist surgeons got to work putting his brain back inside his head.

After the complicated and risky surgery, doctors were stunned by Jayden’s progress. The six-hour surgery was so successful that the baby suffered no permanent damage and would only need plastic surgery on his nose later in life. “Jayden makes us happy. His smile, considering everything he’s gone through, he’s just an amazing boy,” Moyo said.

Baby Born With Brain Outside Skull Survives Life-Saving Surgery is an article from: LifeDaily

It can be heartbreaking for mothers when their newborns refuse to breastfeed, but one UK mom can now see that her baby’s opposition was really a blessing in disguise.

After 26-year-old mom Sarah Boyle gave birth to her now one-year-old son Teddy, she was thrilled that he was breastfeeding well. However, five months later it all changed. Suddenly, she noticed he would only breastfeed from her left breast. If she offered her right breast, he would scream and cry and refused to breastfeed every time.

“If I offered him that breast he would completely freak out,’ she said. “He’d become extremely distressed and scream the house down,” she explained. Boyle was concerned and went to her doctor to figure out if there was a reason why he would only breastfeed on one side. Doctors took a scan and a biopsy, and two weeks later, the new mom found out that she had breast cancer in her right breast.

“Teddy is my hero – if it hadn’t been for him I would never have suspected I had cancer. My consultant told me breastfeeding helps a mother and baby bond. In my case it did more than that – it saved my life,” Boyle said. “Teddy could obviously taste the milk from my right breast was different from my left, so he rejected it.”

“My consultant said he’d never seen anything like it and was amazed. He told me it was very fortunate I chose to breastfeed otherwise my illness may not have been discovered,” Boyle said. “My mind went into meltdown. But I felt so proud of Teddy for bringing the problem to my attention. The cancer inside the cyst had been growing for three months – the exact same time Teddy stopped feeding from my breast.”

Boyle is now receiving chemotherapy before undergoing a double mastectomy but is sharing her story to show why women should always get regular check-ups no matter how old they are. “I never imagined that I would be diagnosed with cancer so young but the hospital has been fantastic. I want other women to be aware of any lumps in their breasts and to always get them checked out.”

Baby Refused To Breastfeed Because Mom Had Breast Cancer is an article from: LifeDaily

One of the first people babies see and recognize soon after they enter the world is their mother, however, one Danish baby has had to wait months before being able to see his mom.

Soon after giving birth to her first baby, new mom Christine A.J Friis Rosenhøj could tell that baby Emil was struggling to focus his eyes on things and squinting and decided to get his sight checked. As they suspected, Emil had very bad vision, which made everything, even his parents’ faces, extremely blurry.

Recently, however, baby Emil finally received his glasses, which were specially made for him, and decided to film the moment he finally got to see the world more clearly. “Today is a great day. Emil got his glasses. The journey has been long and our little baby has a lot to go through to sit here and smile with his small glasses, but now they are here,” said Rosenhøj.

In the video, which went viral after the excited mom posted the special moment to her Instagram account, Rosenhøj carefully slipped the glasses over Emil’s eyes. However, instead of darting his eyes around the now-visible surroundings, baby Emil couldn’t take his eyes off his mother, and his face adorably lit up once she spoke and he knew for sure that he was looking at his mom for the first time.
