An Uber driver has an incredible story to tell after a passenger gave birth to a baby boy in the backseat of his car!

According to ABC News, Erica Davidovich was on her way to a hospital in an Uber on Sunday when her contractions were coming too fast. “I didn’t push,” Davidovich told ABCNews. “Nothing happened. Somehow… the gravity… the baby just slid out. My incredible husband caught the baby.”

Davidovich’s Uber driver, Raymond Telles recorded the intense moment on camera as she gave birth alongside her husband. “It never happens this fast,” Davidovich says in the video while Telles is on the phone with police.

Davidovich’s water broke just minutes into the ride and Telles was shocked when it happened. Davidovich later explained that her doctor advised her to stay home as long as possible while in labor, but she may have waited a bit too long.

When paramedics arrived they took the couple and their newborn to the hospital where mom and baby are doing great.

Telles finally got to meet the baby on Monday, and he even gave the newborn an Uber onesie

Fishermen usually hope to find things trapped in their nets when they pull them out from the water, but two Maine lobstermen jumped into action when they realized they caught something they hadn’t meant to.

Last week, Jeremy Willey and Jeffrey Dorr were fishing about 10 to 12 miles off the coast, when they spotted something unusual entangled in their fishing net. As they pulled the bright green netting up into the boat, they realized they had accidentally caught a baby seal.

Thankfully, they seal didn’t appear to be injured, so Dorr started filming as Willey started carefully cutting away the net that was wrapped around the baby’s small body. In the video, Willey manages to cut the seal pup out and then gently lowered it back into the water.

Dorr later shared the awesome moment on Facebook, and the pair is shocked that nearly 1.5 million people from around the world have watched it. “I didn’t think it was anything huge,” said Willey, who doesn’t even have a Facebook account.

Bus Driver Rescues Baby From Kidnapper

Bus drivers are trained to handle a variety of emergency situations, but one San Fransisco driver is being hailed a hero for what he did when he noticed a suspicious rider holding a six-month-old baby.

This past Sunday morning, one dad put his six-month-old daughter in her car seat in the family’s parked car and then stepped a few feet away for just a moment to prepare a bottle for her. But that moment was just long enough for a woman walking by to grab the baby and then get on a bus.

“I think she saw an opportunity and took the baby,” said Lt. Martha Juarez from the San Fransisco Police Department. The family immediately called 911 to report the kidnapping, and the police put out a city-wide alert for a woman carrying a small baby. Thankfully a Muni bus driver had heard the alert and stopped to wait for police when he saw a woman that seemed to fit the description.

“This is a very rare situation,” SFMTA Spokesperson Paul Rose said about the incident. “Our operators are trained to respond to emergency situations like these and these operators did just that,” Paul added. Thanks to the bus driver’s help, police were able to locate the suspect and baby within just 30 minutes.

“Everybody got involved, this was a big deal,” said SFPD Lt. Martha Juarez. “That one second one minute that baby can be gone, you have to keep an eye on your children,” she added.

Hero Cop Cleans 91-Year-Old’s Driveway

Cops are busy fighting crime and enforcing the law, but one Connecticut police officer is being hailed a hero for taking time out of his busy schedule to help an elderly woman clean up a huge mess.

This past Sunday, 91-year-old Margaret Bimler woke up and realized that a car slammed into a garbage bin on the side of the road overnight and left grass clippings and debris scattered across her yard and driveway. “The barrel was hit over there and it was hit so hard it landed over here and there was a mess all across the front,” said Bimler.

Bimler began slowly cleaning up the debris, but got help when an Enfield Police Officer Chris Dufresne stopped as he was driving by and took over so Bimler didn’t hurt or strain herself in the heat. “The officer had his lights on and everything and he had taken the broom out of the women’s hand and started cleaning everything up for her,” said Bimler’s neighbor Athena Doughtie, who took her phone out and started filming the sweet moment.

While everyone has been calling Dufresne a hero, he claims he just did what anyone else would have done. “I don’t feel like it was more. I feel like it was a thing any officer put in the same position who is an elderly female who lived alone who had no means to pick up her driveway or leave her driveway if I was to leave that behind so I took it upon myself to clean the yard waste.”

“He went beyond the call of duty to help me and I think that’s wonderful and I think that made my faith in the youth today that there’s more good out there,” said Bimler.

Vet Saves Cat By Getting Him Drunk

Veterinarians would never normally suggest giving an animal an alcoholic drink, but one Australian vet just used it to save one stray cat’s life after it ingested another even more dangerous liquid.

The black stray cat was close to death when rescuers found him and rushed him to a local RSPCA animal hospital near Brisbane, Australia. “He couldn’t stand, he couldn’t lift his head, he was hypothermic, he was having convulsions, and really having trouble breathing,” veterinarian Sarah Kanther said about the cat, who rescuers named Tipsy.

ABC News

The team suspected Tipsy ingested antifreeze after a blood test showed he had acute renal failure, so Kanther immediately placed him on a drip of diluted vodka. “It just so happened that one of our nurses had a bottle of vodka laying around, so we were able to administer it just in time to save his life,” Dr. Kanther said.

“Basically once you put the alcohol into his blood it metabolizes that instead, and gives the antifreeze time to pass in a less toxic form,” Dr. Kanther said. “Luck was definitely on his side when our inspectors brought him in to us. Just in the nick of time.”

“Because it’s such a fast-acting toxin, they’re normally dead by the time we get to treat them,” Dr Kanther said. Luckily, Tipsy has had plenty of time to rest and is expected to make a full recovery.

Pit Bull Saves Boy From Nest Of Venomous Snakes

Long before pit bulls were known for being vicious attack dogs, the breed was considered to be the perfect ‘nanny dog’ and one Texas dog recently proved why.

Recently, one Texas man, Shelby English, was walking his pit bull Labrador mix, named Hurley, around a local field at around 10 p.m. “He walks him this late so he can let him off his leash so he can do what he loves to do, explore all the different smells,” English’s sister, Stacie Rae, explained.

However, unlike most other nights, Hurley heard a child scream and the normally obedient dog started sprinting away from his owner. “They heard a young kid scream and before my brother knew it, Hurley took off after the scream. With my brother close behind, he saw Hurley grab a copper head snake away from the little boy and fling it around, later found out he had killed it.”

The boy ran to his mother’s car, which sped away before English could find out if the boy was alright. “We are assuming because they left so fast that he was bitten and being rushed to the ER,” Stacie Rae wrote in a post to Facebook.

Photo by Stacie Rae English/Love What Matters

“My brother then went on to call animal control and the Highland Village Cops showed up to check out the scene. They asked to take a look at Hurley to see if he was bitten. To my brother’s surprise, he was bleeding, had a swollen neck and foaming from his mouth. Sure enough, they found two puncture wounds in his upper lip. Shelby rushed Hurley to Denton Animal Emergency Hospital where he stayed the night.”

“Shelby and Hurley both got home this morning. Thank God, Hurley is doing a lot better this morning, just seems a little uncomfortable with his swollen face and neck,” said Stacie Rae, who later discovered that the boy had been standing near a copper head nest.

Photo by Stacie Rae English/Love What Matters

“Hopefully, Hurley prevented him from getting bitten, or at least getting bitten multiple times. Here’s our hero pit bull. I’d like for his story to get around for those who judge his breed.”

Man Saves Dog Being Attacked By Rabid Bobcat

While driving to pick up the paper on Sunday morning, one Arizona man didn’t hesitate to help when he realized a man and his German Shepherd were being attacked by a bobcat.

“Being an animal lover, I just went into attack mode with the bobcat to try and get him off the dog,” said Steve Verschoor, who jumped out of his car, which he left in gear, to help wrestle the wild animal off of the stranger’s large dog.

“I had flip flops on so I couldn’t kick the cat, so I just started punching and punching and punching, trying to dislodge the cat [off the dog],” Verschoor said. “Somehow in that ‘fruckus’ there he clenched onto my hand. Chomped me pretty good enough to break the thumb.”

By that point, passersby Jason Garrido had stopped Verschoor’s car and then began filming the hectic scene with his phone. Eventually, the bobcat loosened its grip and ran off into a storm drain. The animal was later shot by a deputy sheriff and an autopsy revealed the animal had rabies.

“Attacking a wild animal with your bare hands probably isn’t a good idea,” Verschoor joked. Despite the damage and now needing to be treated for rabies, Vershoor knows he did the right thing. “With wild animals, especially once they get human blood, you got to take action. Especially if there are little kids around.”

One New Jersey couple thought their days of parenting were long over, however, when their daughter tragically died of Lupus, they didn’t hesitate to take in their three beloved grandchildren.

Even though they didn’t have the means to support a family of five at this point in their lives, Jackie and her husband Rande, who have been married for 17 years, refused to let someone else raise their grandchildren. “They have helped so many other people in their times of need,” said family friend Debbie.

But this past March, their luck finally turned around when the numbers on their Mega Millions ticket matched all five white balls that had been drawn and they won $1,000,000. “They are the most deserving people in New Jersey,” Debbie said about Jackie and Rande after driving them to the lottery headquarters to collect their million dollar check. “And now it is their turn to receive this very necessary blessing.”

The couple plans to spend some of the money paying off bills and then plan to put the rest of the money aside for their grandchildren to have in the future.“I am just very grateful. This will help our lives out a lot,” Rande said. “This will be the beginning of good fortune to our family,” Jackie added.

Allyson’s to be husband, Garrett Eischens, knew how upset she was about not having someone to give her away so he secretly started working to find a replacement.

Chowder is a 3-year-old Chow Chow from the Philippines who is making headlines across the internet, and for good reason.

Besides the fact that he is incredibly handsome, people are mistaking this fluffy dog for a stuffed animal. Chowder’s owners told InsideEdition.com that he is often mistaken for a bear on the streets.

Credit: chowderthebeardog/Instagram

“When people see him in the mall, the usual reactions are, ‘[he] looks like a bear,’” his owners said. “He started to pick up quite a following.” Chowder has a thick coat of fur which is brushed every day to keep it looking fluffy as ever, and his owners said that Chowder receives weekly baths and monthly trips to the groomer.

Despite his online fame, his owners say that Chowder is not letting the fame go to his head. “When he is at home he likes to people watch through the window and watch cars and other pets pass by. He also loves strolling outside or at the mall where it’s cold,” they said.

“He has no idea what’s going on,” they continued. “He just lounges around and does his daily routines having no idea that he is being photographed and videoed.”

A Kansas City news helicopter helped find a missing toddler who was sleeping in the back of a car when it was stolen on Wednesday night.

3-year-old Amaya Vester was asleep in the backseat of her mother’s boyfriend’s car on Wednesday, when he stopped to get gas at a Valero station. After filling up his car, he went inside to get the girl a cold drink and left the car running so he didn’t wake her. Surveillance video from the gas station shows the moment a man, who was filling his car nearby, motion to a woman inside the store to come out.

Credit: Handout

After making a few purchases, the woman handed them over to the man then jumped in the unlocked car, speeding out of the parking lot with the stolen vehicle and girl inside. Once the boyfriend called police they were able to track the suspect’s phone, which registered a ping in Leavenworth County. A KHSB news helicopter set out to catch the suspect, but instead, they spotted the missing Ford Focus abandoned in a rural area with the 3-year-old inside.

Reporters filmed the moment Amaya ran right over to the first officer on the scene, and Skytracker pilot, Captain Gregg Bourdon said, “It doesn’t happen too often we have this special ability that we’re one of the few helicopters in the city. We’re a real news helicopters, and this is what we do. We don’t just do promotional stuff.”

An officer gets down to one knee to talk to the petrified little girl and then carries her to an ambulance, which took her to a hospital as a precaution. Authorities said the little girl had a water bottle in the car and appeared to be in good spirits. The couple behind this are still on the loose, but police have released surveillance footage from the gas station in hopes that someone will recognize them and report them to police.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Kansas City, Kansas police or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.

When Brodie Brooks was fishing last week in Anderson, South Carolina, he was convinced he caught a large fish when he felt his fishing rod get very heavy.

According to InsideEdition.com, it turns out, what Brooks reeled in was not a fish, but instead, a woman’s purse. This 11-year-old actually reeled in a woman’s purse that had been missing for 25 years! “I felt that I really had a fish,” Brodie told InsideEdition.com. “But then when I got it up to the surface, I was like, ‘I ain’t got no fish.’”

Credit: YouTube- Inside Edition

Brooks, along with fellow fisherman on the boat opened the purse to check for identification and low and behold they discovered it belonged to a friend- April Bolt. When Bolt learned that these fishermen had found her purse after all these years- she was shocked! “I was in total disbelief. I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “After 25 years, what are the chances of getting the purse back?”

Apparently, Bolt had left her purse on a boat back in 1992, and despite being submerged underwater for more than two decades, all of the items were still in tact.

The bag was filled with makeup, credit cards, pictures, and even her high school diploma! “To a lot of people this is just a muddy mess,” Bolt said. “But to me, it’s precious to have all my belongings back, especially the pictures.”

The photos were of Bolt’s son at 15 months old, and even Bolt’s favorite lipstick was still in perfect condition! “I never thought in a million years I’d get it back,” she said. “But you know, it’s just that lucky chance.”

‘Paralyzed’ Pup Walks Minutes After He Was Supposed To Be Euthanized

When one family’s perfect six-week-old puppy suddenly stopped walking, they assumed she was paralyzed and brought her to the vet to be euthanized.

“Her former owners brought her into our vet yesterday. They said she was paralyzed. They stated that they didn’t want her, immediately signed her over, refusing any treatment (except euthanasia), and just left,” California-base rescue group, Hand in Paw, said in a post to their social media.

Photo by Piper Wood/Hand in Paw

The vet, Dr. Z, refused to put the tiny pup down without running a few tests to see what was really wrong with her, and when the diagnostic tests came back, he realized her blood sugar was the problem and her ‘paralysis’ was really just hypoglycemia. “Maybe they weren’t feeding her enough, and her blood sugar was too low,” said Piper Wood, founder of Hand in Paw.

Photo by Piper Wood/Hand in Paw

“Dr. Z immediately began treatment, and within 10 minutes, this girl was moving around. Today, she is standing and eating on her own!” Hand in Paw wrote about the puppy they renamed Bella. “It was a pretty simple fix,” Wood said. “A couple IVs, some fluids and she was fine. It probably cost less than euthanasia.”

Photo by Piper Wood/Hand in Paw

“She is only 6 weeks old, but will certainly have a full, wonderful life ahead,” Hand in Paw wrote. “If you’re going to get a dog or any animal, they are a family member,” Wood said. “If you’re not ready to deal with health issues that come up, and you’re not prepared to give them what they need, then you probably shouldn’t have an animal.”

Caring Cops Buy Bike For Boy After His Was Stolen

Normally police officers are considered heroes for risking their lives to save others, but three Connecticut cops are being hailed as heroes for the simple thing they did when a young boy’s favorite possession was stolen.

When 12-year-old Naz Harding’s bike was stolen, he was crushed because it meant he couldn’t ride around with his friends anymore. Soon after, Officer Tyrell Jenkins, Officer Kevin Smalls, and Officer Christopher White from the Hartford Police Department heard about what happened and decided to step in and help.

“They do a lot for the community so we wanted to do something for them,” Officer White said about Naz, who is part of the department’s youth program, and his mom, Cathy Harding. “We felt the need to make it right.” Together, the three cops split the cost of a brand new bike and recently surprised Naz with the gift and let him take it for a test ride.

“Thank you for buying me a bike. [I was] surprised and happy, because I could ride my bike with my friends [again],” Naz said. “It was pretty cool of them to stop on their busy days fighting crime and doing what they’re doing just to give my son a bike,” Cathy said. “Just to give him back a bike, just as simple as riding with his friends means so much to these kids.”

Heroic Teens Save Baby From Deadly Car Crash

While driving home from a friend’s house just after midnight, two Illinois teens stumbled upon the scene of a horrific car accident on a remote country road.

“We could see smoke and the car on the left side,” Hunter Hasenjaeger said. “I just saw the car and the whole front was totaled on the driver’s side.” As they got closer to the destroyed vehicle, the Hunter and friend Collin Barry could hear a baby crying. “We could hear the baby crying extremely loud and screaming.”

Hunter and Collin ran up to the vehicle and discovered the one-year-old’s mother, Alexis Danley, who was six months pregnant, hanging out of the front of the car. “Her arm was hanging out and her other hand was reached back grabbing the baby seat,” Collin said.

Knowing it would take the police some time to get to the accident, the boys worked together and managed to pull the baby out of the wreckage safely. “I just kept telling the mom that her baby was OK and that she was OK and that she’d be fine. She couldn’t really respond, but I knew that she most likely heard me,” Hunter said. “I didn’t even know her name but I felt a connection. I think I did what any person should have done. That’s just how I was raised.”

Danley tragically died at the scene after being hit by a 23-year-old, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, but her daughter was taken for an evaluation at the hospital and then released to her family.

Since the accident, Hunter has visited the victim’s family to bring food and even a stuffed animal for the baby he helped save. “I just felt like it was the right thing to do. [People need] to keep the family in their prayers,” Hunter said. “I don’t think I’m a hero in any way. That’s how me and Collin are every day, just trying to help people.”

In a video that you have to see to believe, a group of bystanders risked their lives to save a group of people trapped in burning cars.

It all happened on a road in the Ingushetia Region of Russia, where the video shows a group of people at the side of the road likely having car trouble. But, no one could have anticipated what was to happen next, and while discussing what to do, the driver’s rear dash cam captures a terrible car crash which involved two cars.

One car is rear-ended by another vehicle and spins out of control, hitting the guard rail before coming to a complete stop. A young man rushes to the vehicle and tries to open the car door to get the people out, but he’s startled when the car’s rear bursts into flames.

An elderly man rushes in to help, and he races towards the burning car and attempts to get the three people out that are trapped inside. Several other people join in the rescue and they kick in the windows when they realized the car doors were locked.

A woman was left speechless after she received an anonymous letter filled with cash and a note explaining the reason for it.

Reddit user stehigs321 decided to share a photo of the letter and the money inside, leaving everyone stunned. It turns out a person had stolen her wallet years ago and is now reaching out as a way of an apology.

According to the letter, the thief had robbed her to pay for drugs…

Credit: Reddit- stehigs321

The letter reads:

“Dear [name redacted]

About 5 1/2 years or so ago I did something very terrible to you, I stole your wallet out of your purse. I was a drug addict wanting to take money from whoever I could to get my next high. I didn’t even know you, I pick pocketed you and took it right out of your purse. I took the Best Buy card you had in it and whatever cash that was in it and threw the wallet in a trash can next to a store.

Not too long after that I landed in a treatment facility and got sober. I’ve been sober for 4 years now and just recently found your Best Buy card in a bag of old stuff, I looked up your name and found where you worked. So here I am.

I can’t imagine the frustration and despair I put you through not to mention all the time and effort looking for it and getting all new stuff. It is unforgivable what I have done but I would like to pay you a small amount of money for it.

I will also never hurt someone in that way ever again and will continue to live an honest life.

I wish you nothing but happiness, prosperity, and good health.”

I’m sure this woman never in a million years expected to get a letter, let alone any money back from the thief who stole her wallet, but she was pleasantly surprised. While things like this don’t usually happen, it’s a good reminder that it’s never too late for forgiveness.

A little boy is traveling across the country to deliver donuts to police officers in order to thank them for protecting us.

Tyler Carach calls his mission: “I DONUT need a reason to THANK GOD,” and says it all started after he was with his mom Sheena at a Bratt, Florida, store where he bought mini donuts for four cops with his own cash.

Tyler wrote on his GoFundMe page: “In August 2016 (when I was 8), I was at a local corner store when I saw 4 deputies. I told my mom that cops favorite drink was coffee and their favorite snack was donuts. She laughed!! Then I asked if I could buy them donuts with my own money. I DID and they were so HAPPY!”

“He’s had so many officers thank him and be brought to tears by what he’s doing,” Tyler’s mom, Sheena told InsideEdition.com. Since that day, he’s distributed more than 9,000 donuts to cops across the nation and his mission is growing daily.

When Tyler was shocked at how happy the cops were when they received a donut from him, he asked his mom, “‘Mom, why were they so happy over a snack? I get snacks all the time.’” She then explained to her son that cops have been having a really hard time lately. After Tyler’s positive experience, Sheena says his goal is to thank every officer in America.

“I suggested we start local and just kind of see what happens and here we are today,” she said. “It just had this amazing snowball effect so here we are and it’s just turned into this amazing journey.”

By the end of this summer, they will have given away more than 17,000 donuts, and if Tyler can pull off a national night out event, they will reach about 22,000 donuts. “He’s had many officers who have stopped him and said they were having a really rough day and him coming in and taking the time to say thank you and to tell them that he appreciates what they do has just meant the world to them,” Sheena said.

Tyler and his mom are currently on a 6-week East Coast trip that they began on June 26, and they will return to Florida on August 7. Their GoFundMe page set up a little over one week ago has already raised over $1,000!

After finding out their son had autism, one Alabama couple tried their best to give him the most independent and routine life as possible.

“He started when he was about 18 months. The vocabulary that he had, it just disappeared. He would say mama, dadda, babba and then it just stopped,” Alison said about her son, Sam. Alison and her husband, Aaron, enrolled Sam in several therapy lessons in hopes that he’d regain his speech. “At that point, he wasn’t verbal. He didn’t tell us what he wanted. He would get upset have a meltdown and we couldn’t figure out why,” Alison said.

The couple later discovered that Sam had autism. “The say is that if you met one kid with autism, you’ve met one kid with autism because they’re all totally different,” Alison said. And although they have a good routine that allows Sam to be as independent as possible, going out in public spaces can be a challenge. “We still do a lot of buggies in grocery stores and strollers when we go out in public places.”

To assist Sam, now six years old, as he gets older, Alison did some research and found out that a service dog would be a huge help. “The kids were able to walk side by side with them in grocery stores and shopping malls.” To help raise money to afford a service dog, Alison and some family members that work in the wedding industry came up with an idea to have a wedding giveaway.

With the help of local vendors and companies, they are selling $50 tickets to raise money for a couple to win the wedding of their dreams as well as a service dog for Sam. “We couldn’t have done it without the community.”

Dad Leads Rescuers To Puppies And Their Mom

While driving home from work one night, one Illinois man stopped and got out of his car when he saw a German Shepherd in the middle of the road that refused to get out of the way.

The friendly dog lead the man to a puppy on the shoulder of the road. “Once he picked up the puppy he continued to look all over the area for any other puppies, but didn’t find any. He tried to get the German Shepherd dog into his car but the German Shepherd would not allow him to approach,” said Sherry Klemme from the Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team.

The man brought the puppy straight to Hoopeston Animal Rescue and explained what had just happened. The next morning, Iroquois County Animal Control Warden, Jamie Fanning, went back out to the area and discovered the male dog inside a drainage ditch. Fanning sat with the dog, put a leash on him, and then tried to get him into her car but he refused to budge.

“He instead insisted upon walking in the opposite direction and started whining. After allowing him to walk me about a half of a mile to a mile down the road he led me to the opposite side of the street down into the ditch. Once we were in the ditch he kept sticking his head in a hole and looking at me, the hole was another drainage ditch but it was covered in weeds,” Fanning said. “I then could hear puppies crying. After checking the drain the mother and 6 puppies were located!”

“Once he knew I saw them he allowed me to secure him into my car! I then approached the mother who was sweet as can be,” Fanning explained. “She allowed me to pet her and remove the puppies and put them in my car, and then allowed me to leash her and put her in as well!”

“I transported them all to the Watseka Animal Hospital where they are resting comfortably and finally safe. The lone puppy that was found last night was reunited back with its family and mom accepted him right away! Dad is doing great, and is in a run next to them. He is very concerned about them, but seemed to relax once I showed him mom and babies were safe next to him. He is SUCH a good boy,” Fanning said about the father dog, who she aptly named Hero.

“It definitely brought tears to my eyes. It’s an awesome experience. I think a once in a lifetime experience. I don’t know that it’ll ever happen again. I’m very happy that I was a part of it.” said Fanning.
