Doctors Reverse Brain Damage After Toddler Drowned

Last February, Kristal Carlson experienced every parent’s worst nightmare when she walked out to her backyard and discovered her then nearly 2-year-old daughter face down in their swimming pool.

“I found her floating face down in the water. She had gone through a baby gate and pushed open a heavy door and gotten into the pool,” Kristal said about the moment she realized what had happened to her daughter, Eden. “When I found her I immediately pulled her out of the water and started CPR.”

By the time Kristal started giving CPR, Eden had been in the water for almost 15 minutes. Soon after, an ambulance arrived and rushed Eden to the emergency room where doctors worked tirelessly for two hours to revive her. Eden was alive, but was left with severe brain damage after so much time without oxygen.

“It’s like any parent’s worst nightmare come true. Her prognosis was pretty grim. We were told to expect that she may be a vegetable her whole life,” Kristal said. Despite everything the doctors said, Eden’s parents refused to give up on her and reached out to Dr. Paul Harch, who started giving Eden oyxgen for 45 minutes twice a day through small nasal tubes.

Since she had such a good response to the oxygen, Harch started Eden on his experimental hyperbaric chamber therapy 78 days after the drowning accident. After just a few sessions, Eden’s condition began to improve and she has now learned to walk and talk again. And after her 40th session, an MRI scan showed that almost all the brain damage had been completely reversed.

“Watching her be in a vegetative state to sitting up again, crawling, and then pulling to stand and taking those very first shaky steps last summer, it’s been absolutely amazing,” Kristal said. “We know this is absolutely unprecedented and completely miraculous that she is the way she is today. The doctor treating Eden says the unbelievable regrowth of brain tissue occurred because they were able to intervene early before long-term tissue degeneration.”

Selfless Officer Donates Kidney To 8-Year-Old Boy She Only Just Met

Up until a few months ago, police officer Lindsey Bittorf was a complete stranger to 8-year-old Jackson Arneson.

Bittorf is an officer with the Milton Police Department, and she took her oath to protect and serve her community to another level when she met Arneson. In December, Bittorf came across a post by a mother in Janesville, Wisconsin, who had made a public plea for potential kidney donors for her son Jackson.

His mother, Kristi Goll says Jackson was born with a kidney condition called Posterior Urethral Valves and his family always knew that one day he would need a transplant. After years of testing, the family realized that none of his friends or family was a match and that’s when she turned to social media.

“I always knew these days would come, it’s just so hard when they are here. I have reached out before, I am just trying again to see if we can find anyone out there that would be interested in being tested,” Goll wrote on Facebook. “This would be the very best gift we could receive.”

Bittorf told ABC News, she was moved by the mother’s post, and was compelled to get tested to see if she was a match. “I’m pretty set in my ways, so if I set my mind to something, there’s really not talking me out of doing this. I was doing it,” Bittorf told ABC News affiliate WISN

Bittorf passed the initial health test and learned she shared the same blood type as Jackson and they matched three antigens, which was more than enough to proceed with a kidney transplant.

Bittorf said doctors were shocked that a complete stranger was a match for Jackson and she told WISN, “This is seriously, like, meant to be.” So, just last week, Officer Bittorf surprised Jackson and his family at their home with the good news and Bittorf told the boy, “I took an oath to serve and protect our community, and now my kidney’s going to serve and protect you.”

Jackson and Bittorf went through with the successful transplant on June 22.

UPS Driver Adopts Dog She Met On Route After His Owner Died

When Katie Newhouser was driving along her one of her usual routes in Rancho Cucamonga, she always stopped to greet a dog along the way.

Leo was a pit bull who Newhouser formed a strong bond with and when she found out Leo’s owner Tina had died, she knew she wanted to help. “When I found out that Tina had passed away, I was in shock and disbelief,” Newhouser told InsideEdition.com.

Credit: YouTube- Katie Newhouser/Facebook

“I got to know Tina through Leo. As is the case with many of my customers that I have become friends with, I generally will know the dog’s name before their name,” she added.

Tina’s son Cannon had adopted Leo when he was a puppy, but being that he was away when his mother died, Newhouser didn’t want Tina’s mom to have to worry about the dog. “I let him know that I would take care of Leo until he returned. They had enough to deal with,” she said.

Credit: YouTube- Katie Newhouser/Facebook

So, Newhouser took Leo into her home, but Leo seemed to be having a hard time since he was so close to Tina. “He would whine just before falling asleep at night,” Newhouser said. “I really do feel that he was missing Tina.” While this broke Newhouser’s heart, she knew over time Leo would adjust to her family and sure enough, he did!

Over time, Leo began to warm to up to Newhouser and he even bonded with one of her other dogs, Moose. Eventually, Tina’s family agreed it would be best for Leo to remain with her permanently as he was already bonding with her five other dogs and seemed happy.

Credit: YouTube- Katie Newhouser/Facebook

“I feel that this was the best-case scenario for him. He knew me already and I feel as though there was a huge bond already between us,” Newhouser said. “He always is the first to greet me at the door when I come home and the one who is always closest to me when I sleep.”

Now, Leo will remain with Newhouser for life.

Monsters Buried Innocent Dog Alive On Georgia Trail

When a man from Tucker, Georgia was cutting briars along a trail near Rock Mountain Boulevard and Lewis Road on June 6, he saw something that totally shocked him!

Buried beneath the ground was a dog who was tightly packed amongst the dirt and couldn’t move. Soon after finding her, Eric Purdue realized this dog had been buried alive! He saw her piercing blue eyes looking up at him and he immediately fell to his knees and began digging into the dirt with his bare hands to rescue her.

Credit: 11alive.com

Purdue explains to 11alive.com that he nearly stepped on the dog as he was walking along the trail and he immediately called his nephew and son who joined him in helping get the dog out of the ground. “I think she knew we were trying to help her, so she just laid there. She wasn’t super responsive,” Purdue said.

After pulling her out from the ground, Purdue took her home, where his family bathed her numerous times and provided her all the tender loving care she needed. “She was always with us… until we went to bed, she was always being petted,” Purdue said.

Credit: 11alive.com

He named the dog Lulu and planned to adopt her, but despite his and the veterinarian’s efforts, Lulu died the following day at the animal hospital. “I was planning on adopting the dog. I visualized the dog riding around with me in my truck. But they called me around 4:30 the next day to tell me that she’d passed.”

One month later, Purdue was still devastated and police have not had any leads on who did this. Purdue has pleaded with the public hoping someone can locate this person, and any possible leads will help catch Lulu’s killer. “This person needs help. A lot of it. Or some serious jail time, or both,” he said. “I just couldn’t believe that someone would take so much time to do such a terrible thing to a dog.”

Credit: 11alive.com

“They’re sick. Sick,” he continued. “And if they’re just plain cruel, maybe someone will bury them for a day or two, see how they like it.”

This whole situation is devastating and absolutely breaks our hearts. We will never understand what would prompt anyone to do such a thing- it is despicable and inhumane.

One Saturday afternoon, three tiny dogs tried so hard to keep their owner from dragging and surrendering them to the Miami-Dade Animal Services.

Two older Chihuahuas and a tan Basenji were videotaped by Facebook user Nadia Lee Bass as they were forcefully dragged through the lobby of the shelter, while they tried so hard to put the brakes on with their tiny feet.

The dogs were immediately put up on the Miami-Dade Animal Services rescue page, with a warning that they would be sentenced to death unless they were adopted or fostered.

Their listings are as follows:

Meet Marissa A1890143: Basenji “I am a female brown and white Basenji. The shelter staff think I am about 10 years old. I was found as a stray and I may be available for adoption on 07/26/2017.”

Nadia Lee Bass posted an update on her Facebook saying that all three dogs have adopters, but if that does not go through, they have a rescue back up.

While we are ecstatic that these dogs will likely have forever homes, this video still breaks our hearts, as the last thing in the world they wanted was to be given up by their owner. The best news for them is that brighter days are on way.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission are investigating a disturbing video that shows a shark being dragged behind a speed boat.

The video released by FWC shows three men on a boat laughing as the shark is dragged by a rope and violently bobs up and down in the water. “Look it’s already almost dead,” says one man pointing and laughing at the shark.

According to WFLA News, social media users have contacted the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission about the video, to which they replied:

The FWC has been alerted to a video circulating on multiple social media sites showing a group of individuals traveling at high speed on the water dragging a shark behind the vessel. The FWC takes this very seriously and is currently investigating this incident. We are also attempting to identify the individuals in the video and where it took place. Anyone with information is urged to contact the FWC’s Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-3922 or Tip@MyFWC.com. Individuals can remain anonymous.”

People all over social media are appalled at this disturbing video. Josh Ramsey said, “It was shocking. I mean, that was just cruel in my eyes. I mean, I wouldn’t condone that to anybody to do that… that’s just, that’s not what we do.”

A Twitter user claims to have identified one of the men on the boat and has already contacted the FWC about the disturbing photos. The user also asks the FWC to look into the photos, which show the name of a man who posted them to his account.

One of the photos shows three men holding a large white pelican with its wings spread out and another shows a man posing with what appears to be a dead dog in his arms. A caption below the photo says, “Yeah he was dead sadly. But Michael didn’t let the meat go to waste.”

The FWC said in a tweet that the FWC Division of Law Enforcement had been notified of these disturbing photos.

Kind Cop Replaces Little Boy’s Stolen Bike

Cops have been known to get over-invested in their work, but one South Carolina just went far above and beyond the call of duty after responding to a call about a stolen bike.

On July 17, 8-year-old Aiden Crawford was left devastated after his bike was stolen. “He got this bike for Christmas and we added silver pegs to front and back of the bike it’s missing the handle grip on one of the handles,” Aiden’s mom, Tiffany Crawford, said. “He’s a very upset little boy!!!!”

Photo by Facebook/Horry County Police Department

Crawford called the police and filed a police report with Horry County Police Officer Kevin Cast after he arrived at their home. “Immediately after I took the initial report I went home and told my wife, ‘If I can’t find this kid’s bike within a week then I’m buying him a new one,’” Cast said.

Photo by Facebook/Horry County Police Department

For the next week, Cast tried his best to locate the stolen bike, but ended up buying a new one with his own money when he failed to locate the original. On July 20, Cast showed up at the Crawfords’ home and surprised Aiden with his brand new bike. “Mr. Cast made him stand in front of the car and went to the back of the car, got the bike out, and my son’s eyes lit up like it was Christmas,” Crawford said. “You can tell Mr. Cast takes pride in his job and truly hated seeing my baby upset.”

Photo by Facebook/Horry County Police Department

“He immediately gave me a hug, thanked me several times, and then jumped right on it to ride. It made me feel very good to be able to do this for him so that he can go back to being a happy kid on his bike,” Cast said. “Unfortunately, everyone is susceptible to becoming a victim of a crime, but it always tugs more at your heartstrings when those victims are innocent children. I was not fortunate enough to find his bike and return it to him so in this particular instance, I felt the need to replace it along with a lock which also presented an opportunity for an important lesson on keeping your valuables locked up and safe.

Cops Helps Disabled Vet Struggling To Mow Lawn

Cops are busy making sure that their communities are safe while responding to emergency situations. However, when two Texas cops saw a veteran struggling to use a lawn mower, they didn’t hesitate to stop and help.

Earlier this month, 57-year-old Robert Upshaw, a Navy veteran who lost both legs because of medical issues after his service, was struggling to push his lawn mower with his motorized wheelchair. Officer Ron Duncan and Officer Michael Preston from the Longview Police Department spotted Upshaw and decided to take some time out of their busy day to help.

“Next thing I know two police officers [are] beside me, one of them confiscates my lawnmower and starts cutting the grass for me,” Upshaw said“I was shocked ― that hadn’t happened before. But I got to talk with them for a while. … They seem like real good people.”

“There is more to our profession than “catching the bad guys.” We get out of our patrol car and interact with the community,” public information officer, Sgt. Shane McCarter said. “Our officers recognize when members of our community like Robert Upshaw in need of a little help. These are the moments I am proud to be a police officer.”

Boy Raises Money To Buy His Best Friend A New Wheelchair

Shortly after eight-year-old Kamden Houshan was born, he was left paralyzed after doctors performed surgery to take out a large tumor on his T2 and T3 vertebras.

By the time he went to kindergarten, he was in a wheelchair so he could be more independent. Most of his classmates only saw Kamden for his wheelchair and disability, but one boy, Paul Burnett, was able to look past all that and the two have been best friends ever since.

“What really contributes to their friendship is that Paul does not see Kamden as someone who has a disability. He sees him as Kamden. Because of that Kam truly is himself around him,” Kamden’s mom, Yvonne Houshan, said. However, as Kamden got older, Paul started to notice that the wheelchair was holding his best friend back.

“His wheelchair has fallen forward many times and that sucks. Also, he has a really hard time pushing it because it’s so heavy. But do you even know what’s worse than that? His wheelchair is too big for him to fit in his bathroom. He can’t even fit through the door and use the toilet without asking for help,” Paul said.

Medicare only pays for a new wheelchair every five years and Kamden’s chair wasn’t made for him as he grew. “We couldn’t afford another chair. We put it on the back burner,” Yvonne said. After school finished this year, Paul asked his mom if he could help Kamden get a new chair by raising money for him.

“If he gets a new wheelchair he’s going to be more comfortable and he’ll do more things on his own.  I think he would go super fast if he got this new chair and we can play more. Please help Kamden,” Paul wrote on the GoFundMe campaign that he started. In under a month, Paul has managed to raise more than $5,400, which far exceeded his $3,900 goal.

Kamden will receive his new chair in August, but could already feel a huge difference in the wheelchair he tested. “This new chair is a lot lighter. It will make things so much better. He could push himself more and do more,” Yvonne said. “Paul is really just a sweet kid. I just couldn’t believe it. Who would have thought? I never guessed it would be like this, not in a million years.”

Rescue Dog Saves Box Of Abandoned Kittens

Dogs and cats are supposed to be sworn enemies, however, one Greek rescue dog has become a hero and a foster dad after rescuing a box of helpless, abandoned kittens.

Each day, a volunteer from the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) takes her rescue dog named Aragon on a walk on the mountain trails near her home. Almost every time they go out, they find traces of innocent animals abandoned and left to be hunted by wild animals.

Photo by Facebook/SCARS – Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, Greece

“Almost every day she finds empty cardboard boxes on the mountain (sometimes with the blankets and the toys still inside), but no animals,” SCARS explained. “Within a few hours since they are abandoned, kittens, puppies, bunnies and even birds (no joke!) become the dinner of an hungry fox (the most common predator on the mountains near Athens).”

Photo by Facebook/SCARS – Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, Greece

However, during a recent walk in the area, Aragon caught an unusual scent and starting dragging his owner to it. “We were walking Aragon near the mountain, actually planning to to video on the huge number of animals abandoned there, when Aragon started pulling us towards their direction – basically he was the rescuer,” SCARS said about the moment Aragon found a box still full with tiny kittens.

Photo by Facebook/SCARS – Second Chance Animal Rescue Society, Greece

Rather than acting aggressively toward the kittens, Aragon was incredibly gentle and happily took on the role of foster dad. “He has been an excellent foster dad since day one,” SCARS said. Thanks to his constant affection, the kittens are now healthy enough to be adopted and find their own forever homes.

Police officers will often do whatever they can for a fellow officer in need, but this group of 35 New York cops just went above and beyond for a fellow officer’s family after he was killed in the line of duty.

On July 9, New York State Trooper Joel Davis was shot and tragically died after responding to a domestic violence call. Davis’s coworkers were crushed by the loss, but they knew his wife and three kids were even more devastated especially since Davis’ youngest daughter’s 13th birthday was just days away.

Photo by New York State Police

To show the family their support, 35 active and retired state troopers recently came together to finish building a tree house for 13-year-old Jaila, which Davis had started but never got the chance to finish. “They completed the project in just one day,” Trooper Jack Keller said.

In just one day, the 35 officers managed to build the lofted fort, which featured a wooden ladder, windows, and a deck that they decorated with string lights and a black and white American flag with one blue stripe down the middle in honor of Jaila’s dad.

Earlier this month, one Alabama mom was awoken late one night when she heard a strange popping noise and discovered her bedroom had caught on fire.

Casie Bennet immediately called the fire department, and when firefighters from the Creola Volunteer Fire Department arrived shortly after, she and her 15-year-old son, Kenneth, went to a local gas station to get a drink. But before heading out, Kenneth checked the firefighters’ cooler, and noticed they were almost out of water as well.

So when he spotted cases of water for sale at the gas station, he knew he had to get them for the brave men risking their lived to help his family even though he only had $40. “Kenneth asked the clerk how much the packs of waters were that were sitting outside,” Casie said. “When I came back outside, he was loading water in the truck.”

“Mama, they’re out of water,” Kenneth told his mom when she asked why he was buying so much water. “He just watched everything he owns go up in flames and he thought about somebody else,” Casie said. “That’s how I raised him to look out for others before yourself.”

“He is only 15 and plays football, which consumes a lot of his time so he does little [jobs] for different people,” Casie said about the $40 Kenneth had saved so that he could take his girlfriend out on a nice date for their first anniversary.

When members of their community heard what Kenneth did with his hard-earned money, they decided to surprise him for his good deed and plan the perfect anniversary date. “They planned the special night for Kenneth. A local business provided a limo and they were able to go to a restaurant, all expenses paid,” Casie said. “He didn’t think he did anything.”

A heroic dog is being credited with saving a young boy from being bitten by a copperhead snake in Highland, Texas.

According to Fox 46 WJZY, on Sunday, Stacie Rae English said her brother, Shelby, was walking his dog, Hurley when they heard a young boy scream and Hurley immediately took off in the direction the noise was coming from. Shelby followed his dog and saw Hurley grab a copperhead snake away from a little boy and fling it around.

Credit: Fox 46

Shelby called animal control and Highland Village police officers also arrived at the scene. When emergency personnel checked Hurley, they noticed he had been bitten by the snake and his neck was swollen and he was foaming at the mouth.

Hurley was rushed to the Denton Animal Emergency Hospital where he also suffered two puncture wounds on his upper lip. Hurley was able to return to his home the following morning, and according to Stacie, he is doing much better, except for the discomfort with his swollen face and neck.

The family later discovered that the little boy had found a copperhead nest and Hurley likely stopped the snake from biting the child. “Here’s out hero pit bull. I’d like for his story to get around for those who judge his breed.  #pitbull #dontbullymypitbull,” Stacie said in her Facebook post.

The little boy ran to his mother’s car after the incident, but they are still trying to find out who he is and if he’s okay. We’re so happy the dog arrived there just in time!

Sri Lanka’s navy was called to rescue an elephant that had gotten itself in a dire situation when it was washed out to sea.

According to straitstimes.com, Chaminda Walakuluge said that the elephant likely got swept into the sea while crossing the Kokkilai lagoon, which is a large stretch of water that lies between two areas of jungle. They usually wade through shallow waters or even swim across to take a short cut,” he said. “It is a miraculous escape for the elephant.”

Photos of the daring rescue were posted on the navy’s website, and they showed the elephant trying hard to keep its trunk above the water as divers approached it.

The incident took place about five miles off the island’s northern coast and navy divers were helped by wildlife officials, who tied ropes to the elephant before gently towing it to shallow waters near the coast.

The distressed animal was released back to its natural habitat late Tuesday and photos of the rescue showed the poor animal almost completely submerged in the deep water.

The entire rescue took about 12 hours and it came six weeks after the navy and local residents saved about 20 whales who were stranded in nearby Trincomalee.

When one Maryland cop responded to a call about a shoplifter at a local grocery store, he thought it would be a pretty straightforward case.

However, when Officer Bennett Johns from the Laurel Police Department got to the scene and saw what the young woman tried to steal, he realized there was more to do that just enforce the law. “Officers responded for a shoplifting call at a grocery store and learned that a young mother, with her infant son, was caught by security attempting to steal two packs of diapers,” Laurel Police Department wrote in a post on Facebook.

“After she purchased some groceries she did not have enough money leftover to buy the diapers,” they explained. Officer Johns issued the young mother a criminal citation, but before he left, he decided there was another thing he wanted to give her.

“Officer Johns considered the situation and then made the decision to purchase the diapers out of his own pocket so that the young child would not suffer,” the department wrote. “Though it’s but a snapshot of some of the work your officers are doing daily, we still wanted to take a moment to thank Officer Johns for not just fairly enforcing the law, but also showing empathy to an innocent child put in a difficult situation.”

“I think it speaks volumes that they are doing the right thing for the right reason when nobody is watching,” Laurel police Chief Richard McLaughlin said.

When one UK family noticed their dog was missing from the yard one evening, they were afraid he might have gotten lost or was in danger when he failed to return home.

“Flash is an outside dog,” Elijah Ward said. “We have a smallholding and he often wanders by himself but we noticed he went missing on the night.” Thankfully, the 10-month-old Patterdale terrier returned home the next morning. However, after talking with some neighbors and police later that day, they discovered their dog helped save a life.

“As officers worked down the field and the helicopter was overhead, a dog belonging to a local resident had accompanied officers as they searched the fields,” said Sergeant Barry Evans, from Durham Constabulary, who had been leading a search for an elderly woman that went missing. “Flash went and laid down near a hedgerow. He appeared to be indicating at something. This led a family member of the missing person to discover the woman, found apparently unhurt from the overnight exposure although a little distressed.”

“The dog definitely played a part. Without Flash, she might not have been found so soon,” said PC Karl Heseltine. “We only realized what he’d done after speaking to neighbors and police,” Ward said. “Now we wonder if he stayed with her all night. We went straight out and bought him lots of treats. He’s a little hero really. We’re just glad of the outcome. The lady was found safe and well, that’s all that matters.”

When one Texas man spotted a man driving erratically on the road, he immediately called 911. However, when he saw that small children were in danger, he decided there wasn’t enough time to wait for the police arrive.

“I was showing my family around, they were here visiting from Venezuela, when we saw a guy driving like crazy, most probably under the influence in the River Oaks area in Houston, Texas,” Alejandro Fernandez Favreau said. “So we turned around and followed him.”

Alejandro followed the man into the parking lot of a restaurant and told the police their location. However, before they could get there, the man got back in his car and drove off. “We had to follow him again while we were on the phone with 911, he missed many cars and entered the parking lot of Central Market.”

The parking lot was full of people, including children, and Alejandro knew someone was going to get hurt before the cops could get there. “We had to act quick to try to stop the guy before something bad happened, the guy saw me coming and he backed up into another vehicle,” Alejandro explained. He then jumped through an open window, put the car in park and pulled him out of the car with another man’s help before the driver managed to put the car back into gear.

Soon after the cops arrived and determined the 28-year-old was drunk, they charged him with his third DWI. “Many people have criticized how I acted, telling me that I shouldn’t have got involved,” Alejandro explained. “But at that point, I only thought of doing something before someone got hurt. I thought of two really good friends of mine that are now dead, one because he drove while really drunk… and the other one a few years later, died because he got hit by a drunk driver, he was driving his bike and just like that he was gone.”

Nine kittens were saved last week after being dropped off in a plastic container and left outside in over 100-degree weather to die.

The tiny 5-week-old kittens were left at the Southeast Volusia Humane Society in New Smyrna Beach in bad condition, according to InsideEdition.com“Someone was outside and they had a container in their hands. You could see a kitten’s head popping up from in between the two flaps,” Karen Morgan, an employee at the organization said.

Morgan then said staff rushed out to tend to the kittens and it was clear many of them were suffering from heat exhaustion. “I was afraid we were going to lose them,” Morgan said. “Their body heat was too much. Some of them were panting.”

Staff at the humane society laid the kittens on towels to help them cool down and fed them some formula. After a couple of days of tender love and care, all of the kittens recovered and according to Morgan, they are now staying with a foster family until they are ready for adoption.

Morgan told InsideEdition.com that the woman who dropped off the kittens put them in the container, but it is still to be determined whether legal action will be taken against her. “There are too many things going on that are detrimental to animals,” Morgan continued.

Thanks to Morgan and the staff at the Southeast Volusia Humane Society, these adorable kittens are doing great!

“We have a once in a lifetime situation that you will probably never see or hear again,” Corpus Christi Police Senior Officer Richard Olden told kristv.com.

Officer Olden is referring to the shocking moment that a contractor got stuck in an ATM while fixing the ATM machine at the Bank of American on Mesquite Street.

Apparently, the contractor was working on changing a lock inside a room that connects to the ATM around 2 pm on Wednesday afternoon, and he had left his phone in his truck.

“He leaves his phone in his truck, he’s installing a new lock on the door, and he gets locked inside the building where the ATM is,” Officer Olden says.

Since the ATM machine still worked, people were stopping by to get cash and the contractor realized his only way out was to slip notes through the receipt slot reading, “Please Help. I’m stuck in here, and I don’t have my phone. Please call my boss.” Officer Olden reportedly slipped many notes through the machine, but most people thought it was a joke.

One person, however, took the situation seriously and called the police. “We come out here, and sure enough we can hear a little voice coming from the machine. So we are thinking this is a joke. It’s got to be a joke,” Olden said.

It turns out, the employee became stuck while changing an electronic lock and after the contractor’s supervisor arrived and police had to kick down a door to get the man out of the ATM room.

Luckily, the man is doing fine and Olden said: “Everyone is okay, but you will never see this in your life, that somebody was stuck in the ATM, it was just crazy.”
