Upon finding a stranger in our house, most of us would ask him to get out, and maybe call the police.

But, that’s not what this perfect gentlemen did.

The actual owner of the house was very surprised to find a strange man sleeping in his bed, but didn’t treat the unexpected visitor with any disrespect.

Despite the stranger’s insistence saying “I own this bed. I pay taxes for this bed,” the homeowner, in his Canadian way, gently convinced sleeping beauty to stand up and take a look around.

We discovered that this bewildered visitor was convinced that he used to live in the house, and it seems he got so drunk that he forgot he ever moved!

It’s a mistake anyone could make, really.

And the best we can hope for is for this good-humored man to film this encounter and put the video on YouTube for the whole world to see.

To make it even better, he wound up offering the guy a bed for the night!

The End Is Near: Here’s A Recap Of The Best Black Friday Fights

Black Friday this year brought about its usual shuffle of scuttles and fights.

Did you just read that opening line without batting an eye? I just told you that people pummeled each other to buy a pair of half-priced slippers, and nobody even thinks that’s strange. I, myself, didn’t think it was that bizarre either when I came across the couple dozen videos of Black Friday fights. In America, we have this strange tradition of counting our blessings at 3:30, and then rushing out of the house by 6pm to pummel each other for those aforementioned slippers.

But I digress…

As the horror stories and mayhem role in, we find a few oddballs this year. In Saginaw, Michigan, we saw a group of people become rowdy over kitchen appliances. They piled up and tackled a stack of kitchen appliances, according to a local news organizationlocal news organization.

There’s even a video that’s surfaced, showing the woman into the pile and recovering her footing, only to snatch a veggie steamer out of a child’s hands. The child’s mother then loses it and puts a headlock on the “thief,” who screeches, “Why are you being so oppressive?! You’re scaring me!”

I feel it’s important that I mention here that the video might be a fake.

But, please, suspend your disbelief and watch it purely as a piece of art:

Also included in this year’s roundup are two separate Kentucky mall fights. The first fight (which does look sketchy) happened at Mall St. Matthews in Louisville. Two men threw down in the middle of a food court.

The second Kentucky scuffle happened in Florence while people yelled, “World Star,” which refers to the hip hop juggernaut that specializes in such fight videos.

Breaking: Stingrays Are Officially Cuter Than Cats

Ready the pitchforks…

Okay, internet, before you try to crucify me for such an absurd statement, hear me out. If tuna is the chicken of the sea, then stingrays are certainly the cats of the sea.

Take for example, the cownose ray. They have these adorable flaps above their mouth (right where the nose should be) that they periodically open and close to make it appear as if they are the happiest stingray you will ever set eyes on.

Not only are they always in a good mood, they have another face under their bodies. When the cownose ray lifts itself up to shine for the camera, you can see its actual mouth (not its fake nose-mouth).

And yes, the rays mouth does indeed appear as a smile. It smile all the time. You can tell the world’s worst joke, and it will fake the best smile so it doesn’t hurt your feelings.

Take a look at the adorableness:

But wait, it gets better:

In addition to stingrays having adorable smiles, you will find they are particularly playful, like the following video displaying a fluttering dude playing hide-and-seek with the camera. Perhaps he got bored in his tank and since the people don’t like it when the fish tap on the glass, he decided to entertain himself with a game of peekaboo instead.

He managed to entertain us too:

So maybe stingrays aren’t quite on par with cats:

cats

Stingrays will never be as weird, fluffy, and majestic as cats. But they will use their dental plates to slurp fish off your hand, give you a wave with their fin, and smile the whole time. Cats will simply hiss at you and walk away.

35-Year-Old Man Quit “Real Life” And Is Living Out His Wanderlust

Have you ever wanted to throw you hands up in the air and walk out on this incredibly obnoxious thing they call adulthood?

Wanderlust, the feeling of wanting to roam unfamiliar lands, is a growing feeling among Millennials. More of us are shifting the image of the American Dream from the idea of 2.5 kids and a dog, to a picture of traveling the world.

The average US worker, clocks 47 hours a week, and when you add the time we spend commuting, another five to 10 hours, it pushes our total work-related hours over 55. Then there’s work-related stress, which takes up so much time, we’ve lost track of the hours we spend attending to it.

While most of us conform to the daily grind, a 35-year-old man who goes by Benedict (aka Ultra Romance) decided working just wasn’t for him. Benedict comes from the Connecticut River valley and tried to work as little as possible. He told Business Insider he chooses to live on the fringe, spending six months a year working on a fishing boat.

I work about six month of the year, as a commercial fisherman or charter fisherman or a guide. I also sell bicycle parts online. It’s been very much like, get your work done for part of the year and do whatever you want the rest of the year. For me, work is a segue to traveling.

He then spends the remaining six months of his year traveling on his bike, camping under the stars, and spending only about $10 a day.

Since graduating from college 15 years ago, Benedict says he hasn’t lived more than six months in any one place. He has never owned a car, and he got a bank account just so he could buy and sell bicycle parts on eBay. (He keeps the cash he earns in little bags that he buries in the ground.)

And despite giving up on the the “real world,” Benedict still finds himself stressing about money (though significantly less than the rest of us).

I don’t count my money. Money really stresses me out. I just put it all in a bag and hide it somewhere. As long I have something in there, I know I’m doing something right. I think day by day. I don’t think too far into the future, but I’m happy, and I’m always open to change.

Benedict is either crazy or a genius. Either way, he is certainly living the life he wants.

For the past five years, Louise Edlen has sat in her dining room window waiving at all the passing school children on the bus. Despite having some memory loss, which makes her forget her own daughter’s name, she always remembers to send her greetings.

When the grandmother of 30 disappeared from the window, the kids were heartbroken. When they finally realized she had gotten sick, the kids decided to send her a gift, which ‘meant the world to her.’

Everyday, this school bus full of kids passes Louise’s home. For years, the 93-year-old has sat in her dining room window waving at the kids as they pass by on their way to and from school.

There are many people who follow abandoned movie sets and search them out wherever they may be…

For the rest of us, abandoned movie sets are nothing more than a stop on a touristy day out, and even then they aren’t usually that interesting. That being said, they do bring back memories, sometimes fond, sometimes scary, but always nostalgic.

Interestingly, after classic movie sets are used, they are often left by the producers, as a kind of keepsake, and thats how this list was born…

19 Hilarious Tweets About God That Might Send You To Hell

“Do you think God gets stoned? I think so . . . look at the platypus.”

Some of us, like Robin Williams who gave us that fabulous food for thought, spend a lot of time thinking about God. Some of us probably do not. No matter your thoughts on the subject or where your religious affiliations lie, there’s probably a pretty good chance you’ve pondered God just a little.

The idea of a big guy sitting on a cloud watching everything (and I mean everything) that goes down on the ground is fodder for comedy. Whether r not God is really out there, we can’t deny that he exists in here. By here, I am referring to the internet because if you’ve ever done a Google search for God, He is very much alive online. Everybody has their own thoughts about God, including, well…God.

Here are the best tweets about God that might send you to hell (so make sure you don’t die from laughter):

And, let’s not forget the words that seem to have come from God, Himself:

He tweets His thoughts on politics:

Sometimes, God gets really deep:

He’s even a Hipster

Who knew God was so social media savvy? I thought God was supposed to be my father and we all know how good parents are at “doing the Twitter.”

Why Do So Many Non-Gingers Have Ginger Beards?

$

The growing epidemic of Hipsterdom started in late 2010.

While doctors believed they quarantined the strain, they failed to realize they it had gone viral. Rather than simply being transmitted through sight and touch, Hipsterdom could now be spread through social media interaction. Like an airborne virus, the disease spread from hand to face(book). Twitter was no longer safe and Instagram was especially a breeding ground for the plague.

In record numbers, we began seeing ironic t-shirts, fedoras, and handlebar mustaches, a staple of having caught the Hipster.

As the viral trend spread, we collectively noticed something about the way it shone through the genes. It mutated from simply being a mustache trend, to growing into an entire beard. As it progressed, we saw that the affected men (and even a few who un-ironically liked facial hair), were marked with a plague of another sort: gingerness.

These men were not full-blown gingers. While they still had souls, their beards clearly did not. Why had such a brunette gent been marked with a ginger beard?

A blogger on Motherboard contacted some genetics experts at Erfocentrum in Holland to find out the answer.

Scientist Petra Haak-Bloem explained it was down to a gene we all have called MC1R.

Hair color is complex (not like your inferiority complex, think more along the lines of Gregor Mendel). Unlike other traits there is not one dominant gene that influences how we look.

Therefore, there is not a single gene that control hair color AND beard color. It means that hair on different parts of the body can be a range of different colors.

Petra explains: “When someone inherits two mutated versions of the MC1R-gene (one from each parent), less pheomelanine is converted into eumelanine. The [pheomelanine] accumulates in the pigment cells and the person ends up with red hair and fair skin.”

So next time you meet a ginger at a bar, try explaining this one to them. (Just make sure you aren’t too drunk to pronounce those big words.)

Motivation Monday: 4 Ways to Avoid a Winter Workout Rut

$

0

As the days get shorter, and the temperatures get colder, it can feel nearly impossible to find the motivation to drag yourself out of the warmth of your bed to go workout.

Take a look at the top four ways to stay motivated to workout no matter what it looks – or feels- like outside.

4. Mix up your ‘workout’

Instead of fighting the cold, embrace the season, and all of its fun outdoor activities. These cold weather activities are really just workouts in disguise, so plan a few weekends each month to go skiing, hiking, ice skating, and even sledding. They might feel like fun, but they also get your heart and muscles working just like any other workout.

3. Get new gear

Seriously, just dressing the part can have a major impact on your workout. Scientists call it ‘enclothed cognition,’ which explains the influence clothes – and their symbolic meanings- have on the wearer’s psychological processes. Basically, if you’re dressed ready for a workout, you’re mind will be too.

Buying some new cold-weather tights, gloves, hats, and long sleeved layers will also help keep you warm, which makes getting outside in the freezing cold a little less painful.

2. Take it one day at a time

When the temperatures drop, it’s easier to feel discouraged and unmotivated to get out of your warm bed and workout. Instead of focusing on the rest of the week, and the even colder months ahead, just try to think of the day ahead since it’s easier to say yes to just one cold workout.

Taking it a day at a time also allows you to listen to your body when it really needs a day off without feeling like you’ve screwed up the entire week’s workout plan. As your body adjusts to the cold, it will get easier and easier to drag yourself out in the cold.

1. Plan ahead

Finding motivation to exercise in the winter can be tough when there’s no huge consequences of curling up with a book instead of hitting the gym since you’ll be covered in layers for months either way. Booking a spring or summer trip, or signing up for an athletic event like a marathon will help give you a goal, and a reason you need to stay in shape.

Since those kinds of physical commitments can’t be accomplished last minute, you’ll be inspired, and maybe slightly pressured, to keep up the hard work even on the most unmotivated days.

What motivates you to stay active during the winter months? Share with us in the comments below.

3-Year-Old Can Recite the Entire Periodic Table

brielle

Not only is this the cutest 3-year-old girl, but Brielle may also be the smartest.

She was asked to appear on the Ellen Show because of her ability to recite the entire periodic table, at the tender age of 3. And Brielle basically schooled Ellen Degeneres on the significance of its elements.

The pigtailed California cutie also knows her state capitals, as well as every country in Europe and Africa. Not to mention, Brielle can recite all of the American Presidents, of whom Barack Obama is her favorite, because “he was President when I was born.”

When Ellen asked her if she can read, Brielle said, “No, not yet, but I’m sounding out words.”

What’s “trazy” is not only can Brielle sound out each element, she can also explain their characteristics.

She corrected DeGeneres’ pronunciation of strontium, as only a 3-year-old could, and explained that phosphorous is “a chameleon” element that can burn under water.

Watch this amazing video of Brielle:

Can you believe how smart this 3-year-old is?

If you were finally tarting to get Gangam Style unstuck from your head, don’t worry there’s another one on the way.

The K-pop star who gave us the ridiculous “horse dance” in Gangam Style is back with another equally strange video. This one is called Daddy, and it is reminding us of will.i.am’s “I Got It From My Mama.”

However, instead of having gotten it from his Mama, this video swaps the roles and shows us he his got it from his Daddy.

Daddy” kicks off with creepy shots of Psy’s face superimposed on a baby’s body, then on a child.

The mildly disturbing imagery subsides as the main character gets older, but the video doesn’t get any less weird.

It features Psy acting not only as himself, but also is father and his son:

It has a gold, decked-out wheelchair with a badass Grandad riding the thing:

There’s even some kind of strange dance scene going on here:

Psy’s Gangam Style was so popular that it literally broke the internet. Kim Kardashian attempted to do so, the dress got fairly close, but it was Gangam Style that forced Youtube to update its video counting device after Gangam Style racked up over 2 billion views.

The K-pop singer says he doesn’t expect Daddy to get anywhere close to the amount of popularity Gangam Style had, according to Huffington Post, but you never know.

Therefore, sit back, enjoy, and don’t forget to share the strangeness:

That’s why so many people love it, as it’s just so unpredictable. The bookmakers’ favorite often ends up on the floor, while underdogs frequently knock out some of the biggest stars, just because they connected right with a punch.

That being said, you just never know who is going to win a boxing match or an MMA fight, and there are frequently freak results which no one was expecting. In fact, that’s half the fun and contributes greatly to the excitement of the fight.

When two brothers, Michael and Neil Fletcher found a bald eagle stuck in trap near Windy Lake in Ontario, Canada, they knew they had to do something.

Michael, 29 was hunting with his brother, Neil when they stumbled upon the majestic bird caught in a hunting trap.

Freeing the animal was no easy task as Michael describes, “When we got close to the bird, it tried to fly away. So I took my hoodie off and put it around its head, it calmed it right down.” After that, “it took a while to open the trap.”

The brothers captured the effort on video and Michael posted it to his Facebook page:

They are seen struggling with the trap for at least 3 minutes, while their golden retriever curiously hovers around the bird.

Michael says the eagle was calm once out of the trap, and the brothers then decided to take a selfie with the bird before they let it fly free.

For most children, the thought of meeting Santa is so thrilling that they can barely sit still. However, nothing- not even meeting Santa- could keep this exhausted baby from falling asleep.

When Donnie Walters, a disabled Army veteran and stay-at-home dad, brought his 6-month-old Ezekiel to meet Santa for the first time, he and his wife thought the opportunity was ruined, as their sleepy baby couldn’t keep his eyes open.

“We thought about leaving the line and coming back later when he’s awake,” Donnie explained.

But just before they were going to leave, another customer in line told them not to go and explained that “this Santa is notorious for taking pictures of sleeping babies.”

Despite Ezekiel being asleep, this inventive Kris Kringle had a genius plan for getting an adorable picture with the sleepy baby.
