This father- Jace Larke, was going to miss one of life’s most profound moments- the birth of his third son.

In Australia, it is common for electrical contractors, like Jace to be away for significant life events, even the birth of their children.

Jace and his wife Alison Larke were given a unique opportunity when Samsung approached them to try out their VR headset, which would enable Jace to watch the birth of his son from over 2,500 miles away.

Larke immediately agreed, and when his wife went into labor, the technology allowed him to watch the birth of his son as if he was actually in the delivery room.

This heart warming story was used in Samsung’s latest advertisement, which you can watch below. I have to warn you however, that it will probably bring tears to your eyes:
