This adorable owl is named Oakley, and he was hand-raised at the Eagle Valley Raptor Center in Kansas.
Oakley was given his own stuffed owl in his pen to keep him company until he felt comfortable socializing with other owls.
“He is always leaning against the stuffed owl. It gives him comfort and keeps him from stressing,” an Eagle Valley volunteer says in the video.
In this recently surfaced video, Oakley is shown getting funky to Bobby Pickett’s Halloween classic “Monster Mash.” Little Oakley bobs his head back and forth, and is perfectly in time with the music.
To make the video even better, the stuffed owl bobs along too in the YouTube video titled- “Oakley” & The Oaklettes Learn to move with the Grove!
Since this video was uploaded, Oakley was released into the wild, and we hope he’s out there sharing his awesome moves with his fellow owls.
