Blowing out a candle on your birthday may seem simple, but two-year-old Marty had to work a little harder to make his wish.
In a video from the adorable boy’s second birthday party, Marty is eager to blow out his candle and get down to the fun part of eating his cupcake.
However, he runs into a little bit of trouble.
He tries raspberries to blow the candle out. He tries staring at it intently. He even tries inhaling the flame!
But nothing seems to work, so dad has to step in.
While most dads would toss some extra air to their child’s and help extinguish the flame, Marty’s dad knows it’s important to let his son accomplish this with only his tiny breaths.
So dad enlists a shortcut.
