Nothing stops the chill of winter wind quite like pumpkin spice everything.

And if you want to add a splash of zest to that winter chill, spice up the pumpkin spice with alcohol. Nothing warms the bones like a warm beverage, but it’s alcohol hat steams he soul (and also your bed sheets). If you’re feeling the chill of fleeting Autumn days and impending winter wind, fear not and drink up!

The New Fashioned:

The Old fashioned is made with an ounce of Bourbon or Rye whiskey, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, 1 Sugar cube, and a few dashes plain old water. However, you can spice up this old whiskey cocktail with a modern turn by adding a  dash of amaretto and a twist of orange.

Emerald:

The Emerald presents rather an ethical dilemma: Like the original Manhattan, it contains a dash of — oops — orange bitters. If your principles won’t allow you to cross your lips with orange, you can leave the bitters out for an Angelo-and-Mike, or switch to Angostura bitters for a Blarney Stone.

Hot Apple Pie:

Apple cider is a big hit in autumn and this warm drink features that wonderful, distinct taste. The liqueur used is Tuaca, a hidden treasure from Italy that has deep roots and a hint of maple syrup and citrus flavors.

Returning to camp, whether successful or not, cannot get much better than if there’s a great drink waiting for you and this simple whiskey and cherry brandy mix is ideal in such a situation.

This cocktail is a creamy delight that captures the sweet flavor of pumpkin in an easy to make drink. Serve this one up for Halloween, Thanksgiving, or anywhere in between. It makes a great dessert cocktail for the season.

Mulled in the drink world refers to warm drinks with spices and often the mix includes wines or ales. This recipe is a twist on this old favorite and uses bourbon with cherry juice and root beer to create a warming drink that is perfect for chilly nights.

Godfather Cocktail:

This drink is so good, it’s an offer you can’t refuse. What would this list be without a good Scotch drink? The distinct flavor of amaretto enhances the smooth pleasure of a Scotch on the rocks without disturbing the flavor too much. Try this one out at happy hour after a tough day at the office.

Pumpkin Spice White Russian:
