It is a truly precious moment when a newborn and a dog meet for the first time.
It can also be very pivotal, as seeing if your dog can get along well with your new bundle of joy is very important.
While dogs can become very territorial of the home and of their humans, they are forced to adjust when a new baby comes into the household. If it is your first child, your dog will no longer be the center of attention, and that may make them act out.
So, when it was time to introduce baby Quinn to Noah the Chiweenie– a Chihuahua-Dachshund mix, the family waited patiently to see how the two would interact.
It turns out, Noah did an amazing thing- he lay on his back squirming around, almost acting like a little baby!
We’re not sure if it was to show his playful side to Quinn, or if he was just being cute, but regardless, it was a very sweet moment.
