Whether you’re a pet parent or have little humans running around, it’s always a good idea to be cautious when welcoming a new family member into the mix.
As you can see in this viral video of a little boy embracing his newborn brother, some siblings jump right into their role of big brother or sister. Unfortunately, not everyone is always so enthusiastic about a new addition.

Although I don’t usually enjoy laughing at little kids screaming or crying, this video has me in stitches, because I remember being in Piper’s shoes many, many years ago when my sister (also two years younger) was born. I actually refused to acknowledge the poor kid as my sibling for a while and insisted that she was my aunt’s baby.

Now we’re the best of friends, just like I’m sure Piper and her little sis will be someday. However, every parent knows there’s a long journey to get there, as this sibling rivalry has just begun.
You just have to laugh at Piper’s hilarious reaction to no longer being Mom and Dad’s center of attention. We’ve all been there at one point or another. I’m sure she’ll grow out of it, but there’s no denying this toddler is going through the terrible two’s phase.
