Sneaky Firefighter Plans Elaborate Proposal To Surprise His Paramedic Girlfriend

When you have a high-intensity career like a paramedic, where any mistake could put people’s lives at risk, it’s no secret that you need to constantly be aware of your surroundings.

However, there are always times when you just can’t ever see what’s coming next. Luckily for her loving boyfriend, Emily McKenzie learned this the hard way.

In the following video, brought to us by Rumble, we see McKenzie, a Reno, NV-based paramedic, responding to a seemingly normal call about an emergency medical situation.

When she arrives on the scene, McKenzie is immediately thrust into the action and prepares to try and revive the man on the ground.

The dedicated paramedic is so focused on the task at hand, she doesn’t even realize at first that her firefighter boyfriend is one of the first responders… and that the man in trouble is really just a medical dummy.

Firefighter Nik Raw then dropped to one knee and gave the love of his life a surprise she never saw coming at the end of a long shift.
