An unlikely pair of animals just became friends in a Russian zoo.

Here at LifeDaily, we cover quite the assortment of animals who make unlikely companions. There was the rat and cat who despite their natural tendencies, became friends anyway. There were the Pit Bulls who looked after a blind kitten. And let’s not forget this dog who gave kisses to an unexpected friend.

Never before, however, have we covered a story about a tiger who befriended his dinner. That’s right, in a zoo in the far reaches of Siberia, predator and prey have befriended each other. Amur is a tiger and Timur is a goat. In late November, Timur (who was not named at that time since he was intended to be a meal) was unleashed in the Amur’s enclosure for the big cat to hunt.

However, the tiger chose not to hunt the goat!

The zoo staff also notes that Amur is a pretty lazy tiger, according to the Independent. The display of unlikely friendship has shocked both zookeepers and patrons of the zoo.

Watch how the whole story unfolded and see just how cheeky this brazen beast is toward the timid tiger:

If you got a laugh from this unlikely pair of friends, please SHARE and ensure somebody else receives a laugh too!
