The winter is by far the hardest and most dangerous season for the homeless as temperatures dip below freezing
When a New York man saw that the elderly homeless man sitting across from him was shirtless on a day when the temperature had fallen below freezing, he knew he had to do something to help keep him warm. Despite only having a t-shirt on himself, the man did the only thing he could think of, and literally gave away the shirt off his back.
This man was riding the subway when he noticed a homeless man sitting across from him without even a t-shirt on despite the freezing winter temperatures. He decided to help, and give the man the shirt he was wearing.

Even after giving away his shirt, this man felt his generosity wasn’t enough. He went back over to his seat where the rest of his things were, and grabbed a hat for the homeless man, so he could stay a little bit warmer in the freezing weather.
