Your wedding proposal is arguably the most important question a person will ever ask, which is why this man took 5 months to do it.
Ray Smith, a 38-year-old man from Grumsby, UK, was looking for the perfect way to surprise his girlfriend with his proposal. “I searched online for unusual proposals and I saw ideas like flash mobs and that sort of thing,” Ray said. “So I decided to come up with my own idea to take a picture every day for five months.”
Ray had been planning on proposing to Claire for some time, but was trying to figure out the perfect way to do it. “I have been planning to propose for a while and I knew I wanted to do something romantic,” Ray said.
“In June we received some great news that Claire was expecting a baby, which put a stop to that plan,” he said. Ray finally decided to take a picture every day for five months with a little sign asking Claire to marry him.
“I told her I was taking the pictures to track the progress of the baby”
“It was all a bit chaotic on Christmas Day morning so I took her away and set it all up on the laptop,” Ray said. “I got down on one knee and gave her a bit of spiel, and then popped the question”
