I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that you’ve been eating cake all wrong your entire life. The good news is this baby will teach you the right way to eat it!

The proper way to eat a cake is face down with the icing smeared all over your face, at least that’s the proper way to eat cake if you’re celebrating your first birthday with a smash cake.

A smash cake is a small cake given to the guest of honor (often a baby that doesn’t yet know how to eat with a fork and knife).
