When 5-year-old autistic boy Jacob Hill needed $13,500 to afford a service dog to help him with his autism, two family members did something really creative to make it happen.
Jacob’s 12-year-old sister Jordan Fox, and cousin Makaylee Duhon decided to rewrite lyrics to Taylor Swift’s song Blank Space, to help raise money for Jacob’s dog.

They sang,
“We got a list of donations,
But we don’t see your name.
We got a blank space baby,
So donate today.”
They posted the video to YouTube, and Jacob’s Nana set up a GoFundMe page, to help raise the donations.
Five days ago, the family was completed shocked when Taylor Swift not only saw the video, but her and her mom Andrea donated $10,000 to help Jacob pay for the training for his service dog!

Jacob’s grandma Susan Garcia wrote on the GoFundMe:
Thank you so much to everyone that donated towards Jacob’s autism service dog. We are still in shock that Taylor Swift donated $10,000! Our hearts are filled with joy and gratitude. This dog will change Jacob’s life and we couldn’t be more thankful.
Jacob’s sister said, “I couldn’t just look at this situation and ignore it, because he’s my brother. I love him a lot. He’s really special to me.”
It will take over 1 year to train Jacob’s service dog, and after that he will accompany Jacob everywhere, including school.
