Cat Who Catches Mice For A Train Station Just Recieved A Job Promotion

When most employees receive a job promotion, they get a bigger salary and a pat on the head. This cat, however, received fame on social media (and a snazzy vest).

Felix is a cool cat who is really dedicated to his job at the Huddersfield Train Station in West Yorkshire. She’s so dedicated she lives in the office, albeit her office is a train station and she prowls the premises like she owns the place. Her job was to manage the pesky rats that lurk around the station. It was a positioned she enjoyed so much she did it voluntarily.

However, the cat was just promoted to Senior Pest Control Manager, and it’s a title he wears with pride. She even has a name tag.

The adorable cat was brought to the train station at just nine weeks old and has become a favorite amount its daily commuters.

She is favored so highly, the ticket office even has a special cat flap just for her:

If you find yourself in Yorkshire sometime soon, be sure to say hello to the pretty kitty, but don’t worry about feeding her a treat. She already has that department taken care of.
