Sometimes, people just don’t know how to let go…like this squirrel named Daisy.

When this young woman on Instagram found Daisy (hiding in the family garden), he was young and injured. Having been raised by veterinarians herself, it wasn’t odd that she brought him inside and nursed him back to health.

The squirrel has come to enjoy the spoils of civilized life and he doesn’t want to let them go.

While Daisy isn’t the first squirrel who she has raised or healed, he is the first to hold on so tightly. He is also the first to receive a name. Rescuers often avoid naming the animals they rescue because it forms a personal bond and allows them to see the animals as pets rather than wildlife.

However, it appears this guy isn’t going away anytime soon, so the name is appropriate.
