With so many negative news stories floating around, we here at LifeDaily know how important it is to spread some positivity around the world.

We love sharing uplifting true stories like this one about a disabled who had her prom wish come true, but every once in a while we’ll come across a scripted viral video that is just as powerful as some real life encounters.

It comes as no surprise why the following video has quickly taken the internet by storm. Posted online by Feeln, an on-demand video streaming service owned by Hallmark, the sweet story features a young bride and her loving grandmother, who we learn was the survivor of a terrible tragedy.

Titled The Fork, the short story is described as “We can’t control all the events of life but we can control how we look at them.” on the Feeln website. In the clip, the 20-year-old bride, Susie, is having second thoughts about her groom on her wedding day.

Grandma Ruth then comes in to comfort the bride, explaining to her that although her mother was in her 30s when she married her father, Susie and Mitchell aren’t too young.

The bride’s grandmother then goes on to reveal a big secret – that she was married before Susie’s grandfather, to a man who was lost in the Holocaust. She then gives her granddaughter a fork from her first love, Freddie, which has given her strength over the years.
