It’s a relatively simple idea, but these photos show how brilliant it is.
[Credit: Facebook]We all want to live in a beautiful home that’s flooded with tons of natural light. In fact, simply having glass instead of walls would be preferable, if it wasn’t for the privacy issue. Nobody wants nosy neighbors watching them eat their risotto on an average Tuesday night.
Well, one Vietnamese architecture firm learned how to create a cocoon that floods with natural light, but also keeps nosy neighbors at bay.
[Credit: Facebook]Landmak Architecture created a stylish home that was the result of redesign. Originally tasked with a renovation and restoration, the design team took an opposite approach. They went back to the drawing board and made it as sleek and modern as possible.

The decorative pattern of the walls obscures passersby from seeing inside the home at night, but the many notches and holes allow the room to be flooded with outdoor light.

Even the tiny backyard garden has this patterned wall. It doesn’t have a roof, so rain can still fall, but the wall makes the cramped space more private.
