This Rescuer Thinks She Saved Just One Dog, But She Actually Saved Six Lives

When it comes to saving lives, more is definitely merrier.

So when Joline, an adoption counselor with St. Bonnie’s Sanctuary rescued Gemma a sick German Shepard, everybody at the shelter was shocked by the surprise inside.

It took a few weeks for Gemma to recover from her skin disease and illness. However, after Gemma was administered the proper treatment over a lengthy period of time, she began to recover.

Slowly the dog put on weight, and once she was at her healthy, normal weight, she still continued putting on weight:

That’s because Gemma’s life wasn’t the only one at stake. Gemma was pregnant with five puppies, meaning Joline didn’t save JUST one life, she saved a stunning six lives.
