Some people just can’t take no for an answer.
When Eric Vekeman, a German man with a clever mind, was refused a permit to build a garage, he went ahead and built one anyway. Mind you, the refusal come from his city council, who denied his request in order to preserve the city scape.
What they failed to realize was that Eric was too clever to let the council overrule what he damn well pleased to do.
Therefore, Eric set out building his own inconspicuous garage that looks like an ordinary storefront, until you investigate more closely:

And while the process looks like it would take forever to open this garage door, it actually only takes a couple of minutes:
