Some people just can’t take no for an answer.

When Eric Vekeman, a German man with a clever mind, was refused a permit to build a garage, he went ahead and built one anyway. Mind you, the refusal come from his city council, who denied his request in order to preserve the city scape.

What they failed to realize was that Eric was too clever to let the council overrule what he damn well pleased to do.

Therefore, Eric set out building his own inconspicuous garage that looks like an ordinary storefront, until you investigate more closely:

In a few easily maneuverable moments, the window turns into a garage door:

And while the process looks like it would take forever to open this garage door, it actually only takes a couple of minutes:

Eric says he’s attempting to create an automatic door, so it truly will be a garage door, but this will come with time. The most amazing part of this transformation is that it’s totally legal. The city can’t do anything about it because Eric hasn’t violated any laws.

(If you thought this conversion was cool, wait till you see the Dad who transformed his daughter’s room into a fairy tale forrest.)

So while Eric works on making that garage door automatic, you can work on watching the video below showing just how easy it is for Eric to maneuver his way out of the garage:
