If you’ve ever adopted a pet, you may have wondered at one point of another if your furry friend would remember their family members if they ever saw them again.

As you can see in heartwarming videos like this soldier-best friend reunion, dogs can definitely remember they’re owners after long periods of time, but the following viral video shows that our canine companions might just have a stronger connection to their furry siblings than we ever imagined.

Back in 2012, an adorable puppy named “Pubert” was picked out from his litter of 8 pups, known as “The Addams Family” at the no-kill Animal Haven Shelter in New York City to be adopted by Laura Lane and her now husband.

The couple renamed the dog Samo and at only 8 weeks old, he went home with his forever family. Four years have passed since then a lot has changed for Samo, so Lane decided it was high time that her best friend should have a reunion with some of his brothers and sisters.

Laura was able to catch up with three of the other owners and on March 6, 2016, the four siblings met up at Happy Paws for some playtime that was long-overdue.

Needless to say, this is one sweet reunion that you don’t want to miss!
