Apparently, a baby born with a luscious head of hair doesn’t happen every day.
Normally, a baby will be bald or have very little hair when they first come out of their mother’s womb, but this cutie is breaking all the rules. This newborn is named Isabelle, and at two weeks old she has more hair than most toddlers.
Mom, Mackenzie Kaplan captured this photo of Isabelle and posted it to her Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Since then, the baby has inspired many conversations and memes starring her hair.
The couple from Redwood City, California, eventually figured out how their photo went viral.
“It turned out was my cousin saw that picture on Facebook and he just thought her hair looked so funny for a baby — that it looked like a news anchor or something, and so he posted it on Reddit,” Kaplan, a 34-year-old web developer, told ABC News.
But, Kaplan and his wife are glad that the photo is proving to be a source of joy for others.
“We’re just kind of proud that she’s getting all this attention,” Kaplan said.
Now, two and a half months later, Isabelle’s hair has only grown fuller and appears to be perfectly coiffed.
