107-Year-Old Woman Dances With The Harlem Globetrotters And Volunteers For Kids

By the time we reach our golden years, most of us have slowed down quite a bit, but one Grandma is an incredible inspiration who isn’t going to let old age keep her from doing anything.

In fact, you may have heard of Virginia McLaurin. She was caught on camera dancing with President Obama and the first lady back when she was a young 106-years-old and bursting with energy.

Now, at 107 she has met with the famous Harlem Globetrotters and she’s learning their tricks.

McLaurin met up with Moose Weekes and Zeus McClurkin at Roots Public Charter School to speak at an assembly for the kids. There, she hung out with the basketball players and even received an honorary jersey with an appropriate “107” on the back.

With the Harlem Globetrotters team celebrating their 90th birthday this year, McLaurin has them beat by 17 years. Yes, this woman has seen a lot in her years and she has boundless wisdom to give. “Listen to your parents,” is one of the tokens she bestows upon the children of Roots Public Charter School.
