It’s difficult for any civilian to know just how much a member of the military must often sacrifice to serve his or her country. Besides often being in an unfamiliar land, where they must constantly put their lives on the lines to help others, they’re constantly missing their loved ones back home.
That’s why videos like this next one hit so close to our hearts every time. In a video posted to Rumble by TrainedZombie, we see a young Marine make it home after months of being away at boot camp. In that time gone, his little girl grew from a tiny baby into a toddler, but nothing could compare to the surprise coming next.
The Marine returned home from Parris Island in South Carolina to meet a very special little boy in his life. Prior to this moment, TrainedZombie wrote that he hadn’t seen a photo or even known his son’s name. You just have to smile when this proud father holds his tiny boy, Parris, for the very first time!
