Daughter Surprises Stepdad With The Car He Sold To Pay For Their Wedding

If there’s a “Stepdaughter of the Year Award” out there, the following video proves that Kristin Russell deserves it from now until the end of time.

She saved up her hard-earned money from deployment to plan the following surprise for her stepdad Dave, who she says has always done anything and everything he could for her when she needed a father figure in her life.

“My first memories of him are playing barbies with me and reading to me. He coached every softball team I was on and came to every Karate tournament.” Russell wrote on YouTube, where she shared the following heartwarming video. “He never had to do any of that.”

When Russell was young, she remembers Dave showing just how much he cared for her mother, when he sacrificed his most prized possession to pay for their wedding.

For the past two years, Russell has been planning to get Dave back the same car he gave up so long ago.
