One Boston couple came up with a special and unique way to welcome their child into the world.

Timi and Maria Wusu, both resident physicians, took a scene from The Lion King and recreated with it their daughter, Kaiori, just one day after she was born.

In the adorable video below, Timi acts as Rafiki and performs the ritual in front of Maria and Kaiori, as The Circle Of Life Plays In the background.

Tim then lifts up baby Simba (a.k.a. Kaiori) and introduces her to the other animals.

Friends of the couple, along with the nursing staff, play the animals, and they cheered and danced for the newborn baby.

Timi says his friends were not surprised that he and Maria went the extra mile to announce their baby to the world.

“Finally our wonderful, healthy, child was born, and I had been itching to show her off,” Timi said. “The ‘Lion King’ theme had been in my mind for months, and I just knew that Kaiori needed to be introduced with similar grandeur and hilarity,” according to abc news.
