Virginia Beach Woman Is Killed By Mother Nature When Wind-Blown Umbrella Stabs Her

Mother Mature is the nurturing force of the Earth that protects us and keeps us safe…at least, that’s what she’s supposed to be.

This was not the case in a recent Virginia Beach accident that is currently being investigated by the Virginia Beach Police Department Homicide Unit.

A 56-year-old woman was found on the beach Wednesday at 5pm, according to local news. A rescue official had found her stabbed, not by a knife or even a weapon. This woman had been stabbed by a beach umbrella.

According to WTKR, the woman was stabbed by a stray umbrella that had been swept up with a strong wind and punctured her chest.
