Adopted Doberman Saves Little Girl From Poisonous Snake

The horrified parents of a 17-month-old girl were in shock when their adopted Doberman recently picked the child up and dragged her across the lawn.

Kahn, the Doberman, had been abused and abandoned by his owner. The Svilicic family adopted him and brought him home to live with them and their 17-month-old daughter Charlotte. A full grown Doberman can weigh between 75-100 pounds. An average 17-month-old toddler tips the scales at 25-30 pounds.

Four days after Kahn had started to live with the Svilicic family, he and Charlotte were playing outside in the backyard. So far, the two had been getting along famously! Catherine Svilicic, Charlotte’s mom, was outside watching them play.

Catherine saw the Kahn all of a sudden was getting aggressive and was pushing Charlotte around the yard.

Suddenly, without warning, Kahn picked up Charlotte up by the diaper and tossed her across the yard!

Catherine screamed in horror, running over to hear young daughter and trying to get the dog away. But she quickly realized that the dog wasn’t trying to hurt the little girl, he was trying to save her. , but she soon saw what the problem was – a poisonous snake was in the yard and had been heading toward Charlotte – Kahn had just saved her life!

From what? A poisonous snake was in the yard inches away from Charlotte. The dog’s quick thinking had saved the little girl’s life.
