No parent would ever want to prepare their child’s meal in a bathroom stall, so Lynda Mazzalai Nguyen wants to know she was nearly banished to a public restroom.
There has been a lot of talk about breastfeeding in the media recently, mainly when and where it’s appropriate to get the job done. However, as you can see in this story about a mom who nursed her baby during her own wedding ceremony, when a kid is hungry, nothing else matters.
And who’s to say breastfeeding is inappropriate, anyway? Certainly not the Boy Scouts of America or any organization, as you can see what this mom had to deal with while feeding her kid.
That’s exactly why Nguyen is so furious after a hotel staffer told her to pump in the bathroom while she was attending a seminar.
“Based on principle, I decided to pump in the lobby next to reception. F*ck you, @embassysuites .I’m livid. I spoke to the GM and expressed their need to train their staff, and reiterated how appalling it was to be quickly dismissed without any attempts to accommodate my need and offered a bathroom because sir, you don’t eat where you sh*t, so why should my baby! He apologized profusely,” Nguyen wrote on Facebook and was later shared by Breastfeeding Mama Talk.
She had hoped she would be pointed in the direction of a comfortable place to have some privacy, but was extremely disappointed by the outcome.
