Woman Finally Finds Cure For Strange ‘Mosquito Bites’ After Ten Long Years

There’s nothing worse than having a physical ailment and no idea where the cause is coming from. That’s what one woman suffered, as she waited ten long years to figure out what was wrong with her.

A woman named Calvina recently appeared on an episode of The Doctors, a show dedicated to helping people solve their medical mysteries.

For this woman, her health journey began ten years ago. She was outside in her small Oklahoma town doing gardening work. When she felt something bite her, Calvina assumed it was just a mosquito, but then, something bizarre began to happen. The original bite was on her ankle, but a few days later, a dark itchy mark appeared on her arm. Calvina went to numerous doctors who told her all kinds of causes were the catalyst for such a strange malady. They claimed it was nerves, anxiety, allergies, and all in her head. Doctors prescribed medication, ointment, and topical remedies, but nothing kicked the rash.

With itchy bumps everywhere on her body (except her face), Calvina found herself always scratching and always frustrated. The rash interfered not just with her sleep but also with work. Constantly scratching her rash was taking a serious toll on her life.

With no other options, Calvina eventually made an appearance on The Doctors, a medical show that helps solve cases just like hers. They sent her to some of the best specialists in the country and quickly found the cause..and the cure.

Calvina was suffering from two autoimmune diseases, urticarial vasculitis and hypothyroidism, which were exacerbating each other and causing the rash.
