When Guy Williams took out his phone to film a pesky raccoon, he got a lot more than he bargained for.
Nineteen-year-old Williams spotted the raccoon walking around campus at Bellarmine University in Kentucky and thought it’d be cool to get some footage of the little guy. Naming him Stanley, Williams set up his phone on the grass and pressed record. To lure Stanley in, Williams even tempted him with some tasty acorns. Moments later, Stanley was more interested in William’s phone than the acorns.
The raccoon picked up William’s phone and ran with it. He then posted the hysterical video on Twitter saying,”I WAS TRYNNA VIDEO A RACCOON AND IT JUST PICKED UP MY PHONE AND TOOK OFF.”
That one time Stanley the raccoon took @ThatShamuGuy’s cell for a joy ride. 😂 #VideoOfTheDaypic.twitter.com/6nopMgzFcx

In a second video, shot by his friend, Williams chases after Stanley in a hysterical pursuit. Lucky for Williams, he was eventually able to get his phone back after Stanley dropped it on the ground. Since posted the clip to Twitter, it has been viewed thousands of times.
