When Joel Rosenthal saw an orphaned fawn and brought it to Point of View Farm in Hillsboro, West Virginia, he decided to introduce it his bear named Boog.
While you would think a black bear wouldn’t be threatened by a tiny deer, the bear had the completely opposite than you would think. Boog literally hid behind the staircase clinging to the banister, as he was completely baffled by the fawn.
Eventually, Boog worked up the courage to make his way over to the fawn, but not before standing on his hind legs in order to appear more intimidating.
Within moments, however, Boog even licked his new friend, and you can hear their owner in the background encouraging the sweet interaction.
Rosenthal often posts videos on his Facebook page of the rescued animals at Point View Farm, and he posted a second video of the two with the caption, “And here is what happened between Boog and the fawn 5 minutes after the video below.”
It was apparent Boog had warmed up to the fawn, and we hope they will be very for years to come. (That is, before Boog gets too big that he is no longer allowed in the house.)
