Playboy model Katie May suffered a rare accident at her chiropractor’s office and ended up dead just hours after her seemingly routine appointment.
KTVQ reports the model and blossoming celebrity had tweeted just hours before the appointment that she had a pinched nerve as a result of a photo shoot. “Any home remedy suggestions loves?” she asked her followers on Twitter just hours before her untimely death.

This happened back in February and a corner’s report just confirmed that the death was due to manipulation from her chiropractor. According to Los Angeles Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter, “neck manipulation by chiropractor” was the cause of the model’s injury that led to a certain type of deadly stroke.
McKerrow and the rest of May’s family are now speaking out about their loss and hoping to prevent any future accidents like this from happening.
According to the Mayo Clinic, chiropractic adjustments safe but there is the possibility of serious yet rare complications such as a herniated disk, compression of nerves in the lower spinal column and a certain type of stroke after neck manipulation.
