Among the many heroes that bravely serve our country, there are only a few we hear about. Perhaps some of the most easily forgotten are the service dogs that travel far and wide, assisting our troops.

They don’t sign up for that position and they don’t ask to serve. Instead, these fiercely loyal dogs happily carry out their duties without complaint for as long as they are needed. After their tours end, these heroes are always put up for adoption, and while the soldiers they served with have priority in adopting them, figuring out the logistics and moving the dogs to the right homes can be costly and timely for soldiers who just want to readapt to their lives at home.

For that exact reason, Molly Oliver, a hero of a different kind, covers the costs of reuniting military dogs with the soldiers whose side they stood by. These soldiers and dogs formed special bonds during their deployments and their joy at being reunited is Oliver’s ultimate fulfillment.

Take a look at the video below to see the emotional reunion between a retired soldier and Tay Tay, his heroic Labrador, who saved lives during her tours in Afghanistan. Their reunion would not have been possible without Molly’s dedication to her work.

And don’t forget to SHARE this inspiring video with friends and family to thank our amazing servicemen, women, and canine compadres.
