1. You never fail to lead
Leaders set an example for the rest of their team to follow, and they would never expect things from their team that they don’t expect from themselves. True leaders show their commitment, and they are always at the forefront of the masses showing everyone the way forward- they lead by example.
2. You have massive vision
Leaders think big, and have big plans. Most people don’t get it, and others often try and persuade you to compromise your goals. A real leaders vision can never be swayed by anyone or anything. Henry Ford has said: “Obstacles are those fruitful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.”
3. You are passionate
A true leaders passion exudes within them. It sparkles in their eyes, and emulates straight from their heart and soul. When a leaders passion is ignited, they explode with enthusiasm, and it is contagious to everyone around them: It’s infectious.
4. You are optimistic
Leaders are far from pessimistic. They know that if they doubt themselves, then all else fails. They don’t look for the negatives in things, and they are natural optimists. They are “the glass half full,” not “the glass half empty” believers.
5. You always keep your commitments
You rarely ever see a real leader flaking out on their commitments. They refuse to let people down, and they keep their word because it’s important to them. They know that without their word they are nothing, and it is a privilege to them to hold themselves accountable for others.
6. You never procrastinate
Leaders know that he who hesitates loses. They have a “do it now,” attitude, and they know that if something that doesn’t get done today, there will be no time to get it done tomorrow. In our fast-paced society, this is essential trait for a leader.
7. You never need a pat on the back
Leaders don’t need people praising them for their accomplishments, or telling them “job well done.” Instead, they are confident in themselves without needing praise from others. They do like for their team however to let them know if they’ve made a mistake, so that they can learn from it and correct it.
8. You’re always learning
Leaders never stop learning, and never stop asking questions. They know that there is always something new they can learn that will help them improve their business, and continue to be innovative, and to grow.
9. You never sit in judgement
Leaders are so secure in their hearts and souls that they don’t feel the need to judge others around them, even if those people have done wrong to them. They don’t waste their precious moments harboring grudges or resentment- they know that that time can be spent advancing their life and their business.
10. You never avoid challenges
Leaders never shy away from confrontation, and they prefer to tackle problems head on, rather them let them fester. Nothing is left unsaid with leaders- they let you know how they think and how they feel, in a genuine, positive, and constructive way.
