Thought your home was modern? Think Again!
Dubai is well known for its unbelievable developments, but this one takes the cake. This latest project is called Floating Seahorse and it is basically a floating home with underwater rooms.
The developer of the project is called the Kleindienst Group, and they revealed images of the structure at the Dubai International Boat Show. The group said they’ll make 42 of the floating properties by 2016 (35 of the homes already being sold).
It will be a cross between a villa and a boat, and will have one floor submerged. The homes will be located offshore from St. Petersburg and the main Europe Island, and will be accessible by boat from the coast of Dubai.

Unlike Dubai’s other other developments, like the underwater tennis court and the world’s first 24/7 party island, this project has a greater purpose.
The Kleindiest Group wants to protect sea life in the Persian Gulf:
“We will create an artificial coral reef beneath the luxury retreats which will be a protected area in which seahorses can safely live and breed.”
If you have a spare $2 million laying around, you can have an unreal underwater home and save some seahorses in the process.
