Women hear it time and time again: “Men prefer a natural look.”
But from this woman’s social experiment, we are learning that “natural” really means wear makeup and look as flawless as you possibly can, all while looking like you’re wearing nothing at all.
And if you are a woman, you know that this can be even more difficult than perfecting your Saturday night smokey eye look, and just as costly.
Alexa Mitchell aka Maican Girl took three selfies wearing no makeup, and unretouched a.k.a. unedited and uploaded them to her Tinder profile.
She then took the same three photos, and retouched and edited them using an app called Relook and uploaded them to Tinder to compare the results.
The objective was to see which photos men responded more to, and which generated in her getting more matches.
