Advertisers look to make an impact without having an overpowering message.

Subliminal messaging is a way marketing professionals creatively insert a message into their ads without you even picking up on it. Well, you don’t consciously pick up on the message at least, but your subconscious does. Are these horrible people trying to achieve world domination and mind control? Our sources tell us no. But they have created some pretty cool designs that your brain might just pick up on. Can your eyes see the hidden messages in the following logos?

1.) Roxy

The boho-chic clothing brand has a lot going on in their logo. There are two mountains in the middle that mirror each other to make a heart. On the outside, there’s a piece of the design that could be  wave crashing over the mountain, or it could me hands cradling the heart.

Bravo, Roxy! Your marketing team manage to sneak themes of love, nature, and adventure all into that little logo.

2.) Hershey’s

Do you see it” Turn your head to the left a little. Right between the “K” and the “I,” there’s a little kiss created by the blank space. And to think, you probably went your whole life without ever noticing it before.

3. Yoga Australia

Unless you’re from the outback it might be a little hard to pick up on this one. Positioned in the white space of the woman’s arm and leg is the shape of Australia.

4.) Kölner Zoo

This zoo also plays with white space. At first glance, the logo appears to be an elephant, but when looking closer, we also see a rhino, giraffe, and star. What a harmonious little display of art.

5.) Bronx Zoo

Another zoo made this list. Rather than it displaying nature within nature, this one shows the heart of the city. Sky skyscrapers appear between the legs of the giraffe, showing recognizable New York buildings like the Empire State Building.

6.) Magic Coffee

This logo is tricky. You might miss it because it’s so subtle, it’s barely there. The cup of coffee is also a hat topping off the words “magic coffee.”

7.) Goodwill

Goodwill’s logo shows the cutest little “G” we’ve ever seen. Not only does it stand for “goodwill,” it also stands for the smile on your face you will have once you donate. Now doesn’t that warm your soul.

8.) Northwest Airlines

Northwest Airlines combines a “W” with an “N” in the upper left corner of their logo. It looks with the “W” has a blade going through it, but when looking at it from another perspective, you can also see it creates an “N” with an arrow. Just like a compass pointing North, the logo gives a sense of direction.

9.) Hope For African Children Initiative

In this logo, it’s super easy to see the other message going on here. What appears to be a child looking up to an adult also doubles as an image of Africa. The image is created by the white space in the background.

10.) Spartan Golf

This logo creates a perfect optical illusion. Look at it one way and you see the torso of a man swinging a golf club. From another perspective, it’s a Spartan warrior. Whoever made this logo deserves a raise.
