We’ve all gotten drunk and sent messages we quickly regretted.
If you’re like me, you like to do it in the form of text messages to your ex (cause nothing says “you gave up the best thing you ever had” quite like an angry text at 2am). Other times, we’ll do it in the form of posting a drunk tweet that is significantly less funny in the morning. There have even been those times when we’ve responded to an email from our boss while slightly inebriated. But one college student, the ambiguous Patrick Davidson, sent the most regrettable email that has ever been sent to a professor.
Fortunately, the professor was really cool about the whole thing. Despite the student calling the professor bald and offering to hook him up with a girl that can “get ur hair back and keep u bangin,” the professor laughed it off and gave the student an extension on the paper.
Mr. Davidson probably woke up Sunday morning with one hell of a hangover, a bruised ego, and an active Facebook feed. The exchange is going viral, and with the professor’s hilarious response, it’s easy to see why.
