This episode of “Friends” was set to air on October 11, 2001, however the studio chose to alter the storyline after the events of 9/11.
In the episode, a recently married Monica and Chandler have already gotten hitched and are well on there way to their honeymoon. However, the two run into trouble at the airport when Chandler makes a poorly-timed joke about airplane bombs. The airing of the episode was even more poorly timed than Chandler’s joke. As a result, the studio chose to delete the scene and it’s easy to see why. However, it’s recently been making its round through the internet. Have you seen it?
This scene was deleted from episode 8.02 (The One Where Rachel Tells Ross) but the studio later included it in the “Friends history of the show” with a note behind the story.
