As dogs age, they get a little grayer and a little slower than they once were, but any dog owner will tell you their dog has the heart of a puppy.

This 20-year long photography project by Amanda Jones shows just how true this is. The dogs in the photos may be weathered with age, but they still have the same goofy, curious, and playful expressions as they did when they were puppies.

Take a look at this incredible photography project that pays tribute to the relationship between man and his best friend.
