To make the day a little easier on his returning students, Principal Brian Wilderman of Remington Middle School in Franklin, MA decided to break the ice by doing a little dance.
He stood outside by the entrance right where the students walk in, and broke it down to Silento’s Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).

As you will see from the video below, it was probably a little embarrassing for Principal Wilderman, as many students just kept walking and passed him by.
And this wasn’t this preppy Principal’s first time he welcomed his students back with a dance.
Last year he welcomed the students on the first day by dancing to Happy by Pharrell Williams.
Principal Wilderman did get some smiles however from returning students, and even a few high fives.

I think it’s amazing what he did to help ease the students’ tension on their first day.
