It goes without saying that you’re going to want to avoid doing this one in your spare time.
Youtube channel RocketJump recently posted a video of “The Knife Guyz” doing some sick tricks that you’re going to have to admire their courage for.
But we can’t help but squirm a little when watching this play out.
The Knife Guyz demonstrated their insane ability to throw knives (sometimes at each other) and land the culinary weapons in cool places (fortunately, not in each other).
Knife throwing is an art, sport, and combat skill that has been around for hundreds, possibly thousands, of years. Japanese soldiers used to tempt fate by using the skill on their enemies. It’s a high stakes combat skill because if the soldier misses, they’ve not only forfeited their weapon, they’ve also armed their opponent. Today, soldiers prefer other kinds of weapons. But the high stakes art of throwing knives has not disappeared. Though today, it’s only used for entertainment purposes.
